I thought I had lost this footage. I shot this back in October of last year. I show how to the ECRI module works on the Security Gateway Module in my 2019 Chrysler 300. Starting in 2018 FCA added this module in order to keep us from making changes in the BCM. I hope you find this very helpful.

Love this video! I would like to do this to my 2018 Chysler 300S, down the road. Does it modify anything on the main screen? Srt theme?
Thanks, I can't remember exactly but I believe it does display the same logo on the Uconnect display. You can also add performance pages and they will show up in the center display between the speedo and tach.

@@justindeckard5296 it didn’t. The only thing that it did was add the SRT logo to the center console and driver menu was changed. The performance pages that I really wanted never showed up.

The MX apparently has been discontinued and replaced with the MX+.
hello and a dummy question :))) does this bypass devise need`s to stay hooked constantly after the procedure is done? Or the plugs could be plugged back to the original position? Seems is no longer on stock now....
It can be removed and the plugs reinstalled. But the device has to be reinstalled everytime you make any changes.
The ecri device is just a bypass ? Would the bypass from taxes be the same?

Yes, it will work. The 2018 is virtually identical to the 2019.

Nope, the Security Gateway was added in 2018. Alfaobd will work for you without the bypass module. 👌
