Yes most definitely. Head over to an alfaobd thread like on the ramz forum or cummins forum and there are posts there that list components you will need. If you need a link just let me know. Most popular one is alfaobd success.
Jacob Gawrys it is possible that the dealer could give you some grief if you were the cause of a self induced problem which required the dealer to reflash the ecm or bcm. Generally though, if your careful and only adjust things that are known to work like what I show in the videos they have no issue. Guys get in trouble when they dont follow step by step and freak out when something isnt expected. I do remove the bypass harness when I go to the dealer. The tool is very powerful but as long as you are careful it should not void any warranty for general adjustments (activating lights, calibrating speedo, changing splash screens etc). Hope this answers your question
MKS Performance & Offroad , Thank you for the quick response. I’m just looking to do simple things, Global Down for the front 2 windows and recalibrate the tire size. Thanks Again!!!
KTStull you will need to purchase the paid version to be able to access the truck and features. I think the free version just allows you to look at it and get familiar with it but not perform any functions.
Depends on which one you are looking for. The kind that Kaod tech makes I have not found anywhere else but have heard others are making, then there is a cable that I have used but requires radio removal to access the sgm.
I have a 1500 ram with factory airride can you change the settings so it would stay in the ride height you select instead of it going into normal ride high after a higher speed?
You CAN use AlfaOBD and a bluetooth OBD tool to unlock the brake controller features in your Ram. I just did this today on my RAM 1500 with Mopar brake controller. Enabled 4 options with AlfaOBD now I can set the gain on my dash and see it in my cluster.
I just answered this same question on another video you posted the comment on. Alfaobd is a very capable tool but it is still limited in things it can perform. I have not replaced a win module on anything older like that but I know people have done it on newer 4th gen Ram trucks. I would assume there is a pin you need to get as well which you may be able to pull with alfaobd. Give it a try.
Hey man have you noticed there is a selection in AlfaOBD to disable the scr/def. I’m scared to hit it and see what happens. Curious if you could select that and get rid of def 🤣🤣
gun freak I’m aware of it but haven’t tried it. This may be an option in the ECM for chassis like Ambulances or emergency vehicles that wouldn’t use that system, however, along with that you would need the correct engine calibration to go with it. There are many things in Alfaobd that can be manipulated (turned on or off) but could cause unanticipated effects without the correct settings or equipment present. This is one of those things you have to take caution on and just make note of the change and compare to your module backups to see if it changes anything else. Hope this helps answer your question. It also may not do anything and just show as an option.
Dan the Man try going into bcm, cbc features, passive entry. Also, check out this thread www.ramforum.com/threads/how-to-add-factory-keyless-enter-n-go.134961/. That should have all the info you could want about adding it if there is something you dont have and need to add.

You will need to bypass the clutch which will allow the truck to start in gear and lurch forward. I looked into doing this a while ago and decided not to for safety. I personally havent attempted this so I would look at the cummins forum under alfaobd g56 remote start.
airell47 I havent personally used it on anything older than 2013, however, did a little google search and there are quite a few people who confirmed it works on 2006+ as these were the beginning years with CAN bus systems. Look at igotacummins.com, cumminsforum.com, and ramzforum.com.
This is only accomplished through an android or windows os. Unfortunately there isn’t anything to my knowledge utilizing ios to make changes to configurations.
Audio Expertz you can do diagnostics and clear codes with this software, I cant say whether it will do every code but I can tell you it will clear everything I’ve experienced so far. Are there specific ones you want to know about?
The 8.4a is nav ready but you need a tool that can pull the pin from the radio that is specific to the radio which most likely has to be done at the dealer. They charge somewhere between $5-600 to do this. Most of this is locked due to proprietary software.

That’s disappointing. Still gonna have to pick up an android tab(team iPhone😂) and get alfaobd. This is a neat addition.

Trying to change odometer on my 2017 ram upgraded cluster from 3" to 7" , so far unsuccessful, did many attempts keeps saying procedures failure, any suggestions on why? Any help would be appreciated
Try changing the odometer under the 3.5”
Did you get it?

yes it does!
Checking your page out. Your dad delivered here N.O.A.A. (Grandview, MO)today 15Aug19. Told me to check you out. I have a 2014 dodge ram 2500 crew cab longbed 4x4 diesel 6.7L
Thanks for checking the channel out! Ill be uploading more content on a weekly basis. Focus right now is alfaobd, tuning, misc., and whatever else anyone requests we will try our best to accomodate.
Can you do a video for the by pass? It's the only thing I'm struggling with. Lol
Tyler Maloney yes I can, super simple to install as everything is in close proximity. I will show this in one of the upcoming videos involving wiring my isspro back pressure gauge.

I purchased the bypass harness from them I have it and the mx+, do you know which to green and white connectors get swapped or do they plug into an empty spot? I did not get any instructions nor can I find any info out there. Thanks
Casey McCormick I will do a video in the next couple days on this specifically but in the mean time, pull the panel under the steering wheel that the obd 2 port is secured to. Unclip the obd port from the panel, clip the harness into that location then connect the bypas harness to the original obd port. If you look directly to the left you will see the CAN Bus block, front side is green and on the backside it is white. Plug the green and white plugs of the bypass harness into any empty slot and your done. Hope this helps.
I made a short one....really short but hopefully it helps ua-cam.com/video/A54WKP5elz0/v-deo.html
Apologies if asked already but was that stock or aftermarket leather?
It is katzkin covers that were installed when purchased and we got them through mopar so they have the factory mopar tag on them

Can you disable drl? Or change it from headlight to corner marker?
Yes you should be able to change drl locations in alfaobd
Great video.
1. You have a link for alphaOBD app?
2. Did you ever figure out the window up option?
Window up does not work and if you search play store for alfaobd it will show up
Hello. Does it work with elm327 on RAM's?
Yes, see www.alfaobd.com/
Does the alfaobd have the option to add the offroad pages to a 2018 ram power wagon?
I cant say 100% but I do remember seeing them. I personally havent done this so cant say for sure what all it will enable in regards to that

@MKS Performance & Offroad watching this got me thinking, do you know if it is possible to buy a 2019 auto tailgate install in on a 14 and activate that?
The only way you would be able to is if that were an option offered on a 2014 which I dont think it was. It has to be present in the bcm to enable it.
can i do a remote start on a 16 ram that didnt come with it?
Yes, you should be able to add it.
What all do you need to do it? Just the fob?
Can I use this program to make my truck remote start off key fob. 2013 ram express
Yes most definitely. Head over to an alfaobd thread like on the ramz forum or cummins forum and there are posts there that list components you will need. If you need a link just let me know. Most popular one is alfaobd success.
@@MKSPerformanceOffroad I have looked for a site for this info but can't find it, do you have it handy?
What kind of tablet did you use

Thank you for the video. I’m sure this has been asked, but does this void any kind of warranty you may have on the truck?
Can you use the free version of Alfaobd or do you need to use the paid version?
KTStull you will need to purchase the paid version to be able to access the truck and features. I think the free version just allows you to look at it and get familiar with it but not perform any functions.
Is there anywhere else other then kaodtech to get this bypass?
Depends on which one you are looking for. The kind that Kaod tech makes I have not found anywhere else but have heard others are making, then there is a cable that I have used but requires radio removal to access the sgm.
obdlink mx work as well as the plus?
If Im not mistaken the plus is a little bit faster as far as communication, both will work well though
I have a 1500 ram with factory airride can you change the settings so it would stay in the ride height you select instead of it going into normal ride high after a higher speed?
If I install a factory trailer brake controller, can you use this program to activate it? Or do I still have to take it to the dealership?
You should be able to use the program to activate it.
Can I program win module?
I just answered this same question on another video you posted the comment on. Alfaobd is a very capable tool but it is still limited in things it can perform. I have not replaced a win module on anything older like that but I know people have done it on newer 4th gen Ram trucks. I would assume there is a pin you need to get as well which you may be able to pull with alfaobd. Give it a try.
Were did you get the leather done
Leather is katzkin leather covers that I had the dealer install when I bought the truck
My RAM's cargo light doesn't turn on when I open the tailgate. Is that something i can use this app to enable?

I have an 18 2500 g56. Curious if you could give me some insight on how to do the remote start? If I have to physically bypass the clutch or if it is in the programming? I have the new keys and will be attempting to perform this all in the coming week.
You will need to bypass the clutch which will allow the truck to start in gear and lurch forward. I looked into doing this a while ago and decided not to for safety. I personally havent attempted this so I would look at the cummins forum under alfaobd g56 remote start.
does this app / link work on the 2007 model rams
airell47 I havent personally used it on anything older than 2013, however, did a little google search and there are quite a few people who confirmed it works on 2006+ as these were the beginning years with CAN bus systems. Look at igotacummins.com, cumminsforum.com, and ramzforum.com.

This is only accomplished through an android or windows os. Unfortunately there isn’t anything to my knowledge utilizing ios to make changes to configurations.

Can you unlock navigation for the 8.4" screen. Or do you have to buy that specific radio
The 8.4a is nav ready but you need a tool that can pull the pin from the radio that is specific to the radio which most likely has to be done at the dealer. They charge somewhere between $5-600 to do this. Most of this is locked due to proprietary software.
@@MKSPerformanceOffroad I'm pretty sure there's an android based PIN tool I've used in the past. They exist but may not work on all builds.
