wow, there's still a lot of foundations and ground concrete to remove still, and EVERYTHING is covered in dust, good control, they dropped them exactly where they wanted, lots of work still left to be done, looking forward to future updates, thanks for the video
Great way to view Life in general. It begins with a thought, the building begins, it reaches maturity in which it entertains for years until it becomes old and the time to let it RIP is displayed. ❤️
Controled Demolition Inc has a long-standing reputation of bringing buildings down in a very precise fashion. Literally they can drop a tower into a basement without so much as a tiny chunk of it being outside tbe confines of said basement. Mark and Crew did an amazing job as usual.
Yep, I've seen several of their videos and it's amazing how they manage to bring buildings down exactly where they want it. It's practically a work of art.
It's hard to believe the Tropicana is no more. I worked there for over 30 years. Had great employees and great memories. That's all there is now.....memories
poor old hotel, I lived in Las Vegas for 40 years and it was always there. Can not believe it will be replaced with a sports arena, right there on the Strip, Traffic is going to be crazy when that opens.
Not quite sure about the tree. Signs will come down last because of the demo companies banners. They will come down as they wind down their part of the project.
@@UVDroneServicesi hope they save the tropicana logos. i know one was already taken down but where did it go? are they saving the other three? i would love one lol
@TackyFlamingo I know that one of the older green ones is in the Neon Museum, but I don't know about these. One red sign has been removed, so maybe that's going there too?
Why are they building a baseball stadium for a team that isn't even from Nevada?? I recall Oakland once lost a playoffs game to the Houston Astros and the score was 15-0. LOL.
It's called "anything to make a buck". I just hope room rates don't go up at the surrounding resorts because of the new stadium after it goes up. If that happens, my future stays will be in downtown Las Vegas.
@@UVDroneServices Got it! I used to live in St. Petersburg, and the Tampa Bay Rays played at Tropicana Field downtown. I heard that they tore it down a few years ago when the team moved across the bay to Tampa. So it seemed strange that first, they were just now tearing it down, and second, that they would do it just before a killer hurricane hit Florida. Thanks for clarifying!
Well done. Thanks for the video!
Thank you too!

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. It’s all gone now! It’s done!

After all the carnage, that one tree still exists. 0:49 I hope they find a way to preserve it.
So sad. Thank you for the memories and good times. Farewell. One of the first Casinos I got to visit back in the day. Goodbye and thank you.
This breaks my heart!!!!
How much is the resort fee to stay here now?
0$
Or jail
No resort fee because theres no resort. Also, all the free dust you want. I will miss the Tropicana.
@@bigkeoni100 How much is the resort fee to look at the dust?
What are the holes surrounding each of the former buildings? My initial thought was footprints in the dust, but alas not.
@@hebdomatical I noticed a figure 8 around the buildings that I think were fireworks launch points.
Just curious why the two signs are still standing and what's going to happen with the lone tree still standing

That one tree has somehow been spared everything up till now. I wonder if it was planted as a memorial to someone.

This hotel is not for the 2020s
it looks like there was secret underground tunnels!
there's an underground parking garage in the front
Good bye Tropicana,
May God forgive you of all your sins.
Amen
a timelapse of the rubble clean up might be interesting.... a drone shot circling ain't

Agree but this video is for the clients documentation.
Wow...looks like a post-apocalyptic moonscape.
Tropicana was actress Elizabeth Taylor's FAVORITE casino. It was also a favorite of Frank Sinatra who was a close confidant of mob associates.
REAL LIFE mob wife Geri Mcgee, a.k.a. "Ginger" (Sharon Stone) from movie "Casino," was a showgirl HERE at the Tropicana in the 1960's.

The A's are relocating to Las Vegas
They could have it down and about by now with a conventional demolition approach.
Boy they don't waste a minute do they! It's almost all gone already!
😢😢
What a shame. I cant wait to move out of this turd town.
It's looks like a whale skeleton but without the water
The second building looks like the stern of Titanic
Why would they demolish a stadium the day a Cat 3-5 hurricane is expected to hit the city? And why was it still clear weather afterward?
This is the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas
😅🤣😂
This is a first...hurricane in Las Vegas! Talk about climate change 🤣🤣
You’re not well are you?
