When you consider that you used partisan ground troops against an armoured reconnaissance unit looking for a way to the West, that was one amazingly good result. Very well done to the partisans and their commander!
Blocking groups were created, if I'm not mistaken, to prevent friendly troops from retreating without orders, The nazis and the soviets used them a lot in the eastern front
Just as an update, they removed the extra air wing for the Soviet side. No more A20 wing. The German side is heavily advantaged on this map because of their extreme air superiority on this campaign. They start with 5:1 advantage on air and I don't think it gets better for the Soviet attackers.
I understand what they would be used for IRL, but it's hard to represent that here, thus making me wonder why they are there. The only use I can see is suicide attacks to remove action points from the selected battalion.
At 20:40 you should have zigged rather than zagged. Clearly that would have been the better call. Maybe next time rethink your strategy. If you need tips, let me know.

That partisan + fighter swarm was the most exciting battle I've watched in this series so far
he should have used the bombers more not the fighters to take out the tanks he could have held a better defence if he had
Most insane plane micro ever
Jesus christ the Air-control. i havent seen planes dictate a battle this heavily since I re-watched Independence Day.
The "hmm's" are my favourite part
Hmm
28:30 I wonder how the Wehrmacht generals would spin that in their memoirs.
...totally Hitler's fault. We haven't exhausted that one yet, right?
This is pretty much how the IRL breakout attempts went, so more or less the same.
Luftwaffe was asleep xD
When you have to call in *Broken Arrow* in majority of your sectors.
Can't wait for Vulcan to encircle the entire German army lmfao

the sky looks like my bee hive when i open it :D
As a noob, watching that was like seeing someone do magic
I love you Vulcan, but are you really asking why partisan units are behind enemy lines?

@Aggressive Tubesock I did know that, I was saying the mechanics of the game/campaign make it hard to represent how they worked.
Herd of Yaks > Recon Panzer. Delicious.
Good video man
28:10 dude you would have pulled out a major victory if you had used your Tu-2s more
Playing as the germans really tests your bunkerplays
What does AI difficulty setting affect? Hard AI has more income/troops?
Yeah. They have 50% more availability (rounded down) and income in battles. So if a battalion has 5 tigers they can spawn 7 in battle.
Airforce > everything (if your opponent doesn't have AA in sufficient numbers)
Historically accurate!
steel division requires a master strategist .

Finally! So tired of that throwback championship
