Army Group Center had access to almost 1,000 planes for the battles covered in these campaigns... so, it wasn't that the Luftwaffe was out of planes at this point; it was that their airforce was outnumbered something like 8:1.
I don't think the Luftwaffe had this many planes on the entire Eastern Front. Geez game.
Right? Its like Erich Hartmann in this game. Gets shot down and gets right back up.
"Two star Focke-wulk are really good" *Immediately falls backs after two seconds of engagement*
fun drinking game, take a shot every time a focke wulf spawns
Damn, those planes multiplied faster than fruitflies.
These are amazing! I was so confused trying to learn this game and this helps so much! Please keep making them!
I really wish they have the units review tab before the battle like in Wargame, it's so useful to check what you have and the enemies have.
you think all those planes were bad? imagine if they brought them in all at once ;p
38:30 "this must be like a bug..." ... fast forward to end results report: enemy planes shot down, 72. Enemy planes remaining in force: 2951.
(I love the bomber thing, but why not have them drop their bombs ont he visible ground targets en-route to the northern map area... we haven't seen a right proper bombing run since that one SD44 video ;p)
Well that's what happens when you challenge a fighter squad that has normaly somewhere around 30 planes.... hmmm...
about time you had your absolute air superiority challenged.; can't just Pe-2 swarm everything now
And I was going to suggest you let the AI handle the air forces until I saw that. Wow. What a disaster that would have been if you weren’t microing that never ending dogfight.
No lie, I was sitting here going "Vulcan, Slow Down The Game!!!" when those FW190s started coming out every 5 seconds. Would have given you some respite from the constant Air Raid noise.
So this is why the Luftwaffe lost so many planes in a single year
I don't know who this Bob Ruisk guy was, but he seemed to be having a bad time of it
SteelDivision2 Campaign 3 2 nice title.
Edit: mom get the camera I was first comment on a YT video!
Wow 49 kills wonder how many new Soviet aces?
TMSD 72 almost 10
@@yeeterdeleter6306 Only one, just based on this battle. A lot of Yaks with 4 kills, though.
@@basedeltazero714 Yeah, surprised there was just 1 ace in a day. Still, the others must've been greatly increased their scores, plus getting tons of useful experience to boot against the Luftwaffe.
Oh vulcan. I would give you a thumbs up but i don't have enough thumbs for what we've all just witness. Aircrafts! Aircrafts everywhere... eugen needs to fix this. besides, im pretty sure by this timeline the luftwaffe didn't have much of a veteran air presence in the eastern front.
A necro voice from the far future: They did fix it in traditional Eugen fashion, they deleted the A20 air regiment from the Soviet side and the Axis have even more air.
I can see that getting tedious really fast
That was nuts 🤪
