In reality, all known matter is composed of fundamental particles such as electrons and quarks, and it is the Higgs boson that gives these particles mass.
While it may seem logical to assume that the Higgs boson is responsible for all mass in the universe, only 1% of the mass of matter is attributed to fundamental particles. The remaining 99% of mass does not come from any type of particle.

Also, Higgs Boson, which is responsible for mass of elementary particle, in the absence of higgs field, beta decay won't happen, and protons will not even form. Using this argument, Higgs field, proton won't even get created and hence, indirectly Higgs Field is responsible for entire mass
