Will it stress the strap ? I have a new YSL camera bag and I do not wish to make a hole in it incase I do resell it one day
Leather is malleable so yes if you do this to the strap and the bag is heavily loaded, it will stretch out the leather. So I only recommend if it’s a mini bag. And I always recommend that if you have reservation with this, then it’s best not to do it.
