I see this video is couple years old now so maybe you solved or gave up on it. Was just wondering if you checked the valve timing and ignition timing as I had a small engine that definitely needed carb work same as yours, but as it turned out the ignition timing was off as well.

I can't believe the cover has to come off before the carb comes out. Otherwise very straight forward.
