Wow. Just… wow. Who thought this was a good idea? Velvet Wild and Drala have somehow managed to take one of the most perfectly imperfect punk songs ever written and drag it kicking and screaming into some ravey drum and bass hellscape. This isn’t a tribute-it’s a straight-up crime scene.
This isn’t punk. This isn’t DnB. This is the bastard love child of the two, left crying in a dumpster behind a skatepark. Do yourself a favour: skip this disaster and go spin the original on vinyl, where it belongs. Or don’t. Whatever. You’ll listen to it anyway because you’re as curious as you are disappointed.
