Eww someone studying to become a coaster designer. Modern coasters tend to suck, not enough airtime too much focus on g forces. If you are going to go through with it at least do all of us a favor and study wooden coasters from the 20's to 70's as well as some of Anton Schwartzkopf's beautiful looking steel coasters Also study Great White and Ravine Flyer II at Morey's Piers and Waldameer respectively to see how to best position a lift hill for a fantastic first drop view. This stuff is what us enthusiasts want not another SBF Visa figure 8 hamster wheel or a trashy GP pandering record breaker. Edit: studying Pheonix at Knoebels and Skyliner at Lakemont is an excellent case study for how to relocate a difficult coaster to move should you get called in for help with such a case as well.
Honestly that first coaster, the one that "takes 5 years" seems like it would be fun. Imagine a rollercoaster you ride for about 20 minutes... would make the 3-4 hours of standing in lines more worth it imo.
I wonder now if its posible to have multyple starter points on thesame track in this game. I mean if the ride takes 5 years and you put for example 5 seperate train carts on it with each there own station (for maintenence or just when the park is closed ir w/e) the xarts are still 1 year apart from eachother even if they ride at thesame time.
15:53 this design with a "loop in a loop" is an actual design for a real-life coaster. The Loch Ness Monster roller coaster ride in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Virginia has the same design. I have been on the ride before and it was a fun experience.
It was coaster made by the same company that made Loch Ness two year later for the park Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. It had Interlocking loops (which is the official element name) and for a time was the fastest coaster at least in the USA. Sadly had a troubled life span and most of the time was either broken down and had a few injuries on it due to some trains came back down the track (nothing like Nemesis though).
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 has a split coaster as well, and it literally splits the cars in two rather than alternating them! Being the older game, naturally is nowhere near as whacky as Park Beyond would get, but there’s a reason it’s a classic RCT 1-3 are such good games~ Definitely still good options if Park Beyond is too pricey for anyone or beyond their computer’s specs, and I’ll still be going back to them regularly as well Btw, RCT3 also lets you design your own firework and laser shows and add your own music into the game :D some people do crazy stuff with it
RCE - I truly believe you've had the largest influence on my steam wishlist out of any UA-cam Gamer to date. I'm a roller coaster guy as it is, but never been able to build Jumping, Leveling, or splitting coasters!
This is how you play this game. Just go as insane as you want with your rides, even if it doesn't make sense. That is what sets Park Beyond apart from any other theme park builder.
I just love your attitude about the benches on the spiral: "alright, you guys need benches? I'll give ya some benches, you ungrateful bastards!" Thumbs up for making me cry laugh!
Watching that shark coaster in first person was the first time one of these games made me feel uncomfortable. But this game is awesome for letting you do all this.
This is a great video showing off the game! I saw some previous videos and thought "it's just a worse planet coaster..." But i love the coaster features!! I think I'll be getting the game!
Hi RCE !! i’ve been watching you for a while now and i’ve just applied for engineering at university!! thank you for the content i appreciate you lots :)
I am actually curious has there ever been an RCE video(except for the early ones, and games where he is mostly in control)where there is no strongest shape, best shape?is there any single video where he forgot to do the funni? Is anyone willing to undertake this mission to find it?(an actual treasure hunt right here folks.1st one to find it(if any )wins my personal drawing of the strongest shape drawn on ms paint(limited edition)
I was tempted to buy this when I first heard about it, heard some negative reviews and lost the interest in it. After seeing your take on it, I have renewed interest.
Matt: "Oh, wow, this one has a dam..." Me: Unless I miss my guess, that's God Dam. 😀 EDIT-- Why do I keep expecting GrayStillPlays to show up? "Move over, rookie! I've done this before-- let me show you how to get vertical 20 G corkscrew turns!" 😆
Oy Matt your editors are doing a good job. 😢 And you do as well of course 😊 I like it when a product placement is just like any other video. This way I do not even mind at all
As a civil engineering student who is only in engineering to become a roller coaster designer (yes, I'm being serious), I approve of these coasters
Man that would be too much responsibility for me 😅
my uncle used to designer, he said it was a good job, but had a lot of ups and downs.
@conway-jr4ce yeah I heard that job really takes you for a loop

Euthanasia coaster, make our dream a reality

Sure longer rides would be great but If the ride goes 10x longer, the line would also be 10x as long. A 20 minute ride means only 4 rides per hour.
@@KeaveMindi don’t know how you get 4 rides per hour at 20 min a ride in a continuous cycle
@@tlgx884 you must have missed the update on time. hours are now 80 min so we can have an 18 hour day instead.
@@KeaveMind they dont send just 1 cart yk, for example 5 mins after the first one left they could send another one

Tgats literally the first coaster i thought about
1978 interlocking loops, the second was Orential Express which is sadly no more and not due to its name.
@@deatho0ne587 I have never heard of that roller coaster.

Second best coaster ever made! The first no longer exists but was right next door to Nessie. Oh yes, I'm referring to The Big Bad Wolf

“Sorry miss I couldn’t get my homework done.”
“Why? Your dog ate it again?”
“No I was stuck on a roller coaster for 5 years”
I’m so impressed with the coaster split and rejoin. That is such a cool feature and would lead to so many creative ideas,

I’ve never seen a diamond intersection on a rollercoaster but railroad diamonds are a thing.
If RCE pins me, I will devote my life to being an engineer
hi
bro has been pinned🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Lucky one mate
I have done it
Bro literally sold his life for a pinned comment
RCE - I truly believe you've had the largest influence on my steam wishlist out of any UA-cam Gamer to date. I'm a roller coaster guy as it is, but never been able to build Jumping, Leveling, or splitting coasters!
This gives off major Josh vibes and I love it
Who's Josh?
@@thomasphillips885Josh mama
...no wait-
I think they're talking about the UA-camr Let'sGameItOut
Matt put in a path like a true architect Louie just didn't want to take it
Right 💀
As a coaster enthusiast this made me laugh so hard while simultaneously dying inside! 🤣
"we end up just behind the car in front"
That degree's paying for itself!
He was speaking to the Architects watching.
This is how you play this game. Just go as insane as you want with your rides, even if it doesn't make sense. That is what sets Park Beyond apart from any other theme park builder.
Your editors do a good job and deserve more recognition

This game has the freedom I always wanted in a game... Wow!
4:23 where the engineering starts
I think that's where the architecture starts. Engineers don't build pointless expensive inefficient paths.
RCE getting sponsored by BandaiNamco. That's not too shabby tbh, kudos Matt!
This is a great video showing off the game! I saw some previous videos and thought "it's just a worse planet coaster..." But i love the coaster features!! I think I'll be getting the game!
This game actually looks really fun
I saw it on Steam and glossed over it because it looked like just another Theme Park Tycoon, but the variety and apparent polish have me sold.
Hi RCE !! i’ve been watching you for a while now and i’ve just applied for engineering at university!! thank you for the content i appreciate you lots :)
Very interresting! Would love to see more. Both shenanigans and just playing. :)
16:00 "This intersection seems really dangerous" (shoots cars out of cannon)
That crossroads coaster that ends around 19:00 should really be called The Puckerer or something, lol.

Literally nfts
@@weirdbookshelf49 yes like nfts these has no actual value
Probably best to look at the early, first videos, before the channel grew and it got established as a running theme.
Pretty sure most videos in his Infra playthrough didn't feature strongest shapes
Only Matt would do a publisher sponsored video and just absolutely break the game
>>Let's Game it Out and has entered the chat. xD wellllllllllllllllll
Press x to doubt with Let’s game it out in mind
@@briankale5977 closely followed by spiff
He hardly even broke the game, he just made kind of scary costers.
Spiffing Brit has entered the chat.
yay roller-coaster 14:07 what a feat of engineering
didn't think I would be 200th like early to the vid
Legends says matt will conquer all the architects one day…
The prophecy must be fulfilled
Or you shall die

Builds a double helix skyscraper, to bridge over a large Boulder, and then has the nerve to call his guest the Architect 😅
Louie Lopez is actually an amazing professional skateboarder.
The last one would be so cool themed as a dogfighting planes scenario
Im a very big fan , I’ve been watching your videos for the past 5 months, so I just want to say: ceep up the good work😀
When I saw this I said "Too soon" because of the recent roller coaster accident here in Stockholm. So: Time to look at Matt building roller coasters!
That was pretty cool. I'd like to see more of this game.
Matt: "Oh, wow, this one has a dam..."
Me: Unless I miss my guess, that's God Dam. 😀 EDIT-- Why do I keep expecting GrayStillPlays to show up? "Move over, rookie! I've done this before-- let me show you how to get vertical 20 G corkscrew turns!" 😆
This looks like what planet coaster should have been
wow a direct sponsor from bandai
that's unexpected
4:28 this briefly turned into a "Lets Game it Out" video lmao
RCE, caling architects out for designing inefficient buildings. Also RCE, designing mega long paths that no sane person would ever use.
Park Beyond looks like a more polished version of Planet Coaster
As a rail enthusiast, that train line essentially turning 90 degrees hurts my soul.
“Super Polished” according to Steam reviews, but the game looks stunning.
The stronckest shapee!!
rce
I watch your videos on a highly immersive 120" home theater screen. I've never regretted that decision... until today.
Flippen hilarious man. Please do more
Love these types of videos. I hope let's game it out does one on this game too
YES
That tool the janitor used looks like what Nick Salinsky used to clean the yard in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
Matt saying taco hit me so hard
OH MY GOD ITS MATT FROM REAL CIVIL ENGINEER WITH ANOTHER EPISODE OF PLANET COASTER
In the Netherlands we have a Rollercoaster that exists of 2 separate carts that race each other, it's called joris en de draak. 😄
Oy Matt your editors are doing a good job. 😢 And you do as well of course 😊
I like it when a product placement is just like any other video. This way I do not even mind at all
My wish came true 😱😱 Matt in Park Beyond
RCE: "very gentle turns"
*passengers going to the left and right at 4G's*
4:27 He have learned from Gray sitl plays😂
1:46
The way he said reminded me of the spiffting brit
That shark ride is basically Astrocanyon. Man I miss motion sims.
I'm no engineer (no architect either), but I'm noticing a severe lack of structural supports on those massive rollercoasters 🤔
I'm not into this kind of games but this one seems fun, I'll give it a try
"Welcome back to Lets Game It Out"
Started a park in your honour and I’m so excited to watch more videos of you building weird shxt in this game 😂
Since having finished my engineering degree you're still the only person that calls me a fellow engineer.
Are roller coaster engineers technically a hybrid between engineer and evil architect as they design rollercoasters and make em safe and strong
The videos you do with roller coaster games make me cry laughing they're so funny
The ramps and cannons and all remind me of Thrillville off the Rails on PSP.
Matt you should play Death Stranding!!! I think you would enjoy it. It is a long story, but it is honestly a lot of fun!
A civil engineer and a theme park... dangerous times hehe
Loving the RCE X LGIO cross over 🫶
Id like to see an unedited and uncut video of shark bait
Its soooo funny that people go ride the coaster in the morning and got out in the night🤣🤣🤣
Oh gosh Josh's gonna love this one...
That last one looked like a dog fight or a plane formation
These coasters sure look alot like something an architect would design 🤔
I am a bio student but watch an engineer 😂😂btw great video i enjoy watching your all videos🥰
Absolute love this game.
"People arrive by train" When's the last time i heard that...?
RCE you should be engineering stuff in Tears of the Kingdom! And making bridge reviews all over Hyrule.
“Architect move, Louis. ARCHITECT MOVE!”
Pretty much what Magneto is known for in video games welcome to die lol must be fun for architects
this is giving me let's game it out vibes
By this point I think Matt is an agent of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in account of all the spaghetti creations he creates. R'amen
please could you do another mini motorways video? i really like those!
"So here is our victims- I mean customers"
Bro got caught lacking 💀
I want to get off Mr Engineer's Wild Ride
“I want to get off Mr. Matt’s Wild Ride”
Imagine if you could do this in VR that last ride would make everyone sick
A trick that roller coaster tycoon taught me was to make your queue paths squiggly:
The first coaster is literally the coaster from sharkboy and lavagirl
My goodness, that shark rollercoaster gives me anxiety just by looking at the tracks....
It's crazy, how a person can always have the strongest shape in mind? 😂😂
The game looks fun
Please release the POV of that coaster as a separate video.
Thrillville walked so this game could run.
Those kids definitely died of dehydration while riding Shark Bait.
crazy timing... Yesterday a roler coster in Stockholm went off the railing. One woman died and 9 people got injured :O
Your videos are so funny whenever I get bored I watch your videos
I wanna see RCE play Indoorlands
I think RCE is the guy who designed Action Park. lol
