The fatal, or should I say vital- flaw in your disease engineering was spending points on the reshuffle too soon. When you buy the genetic reshuffle it slightly lowers existing cure progress as well as slows future progress.
it was spending all his points on infectivity, so by the time he needed lethality he had no money for it. you have to start gaining points from deaths to keep up with the cure, or go from full infectivity to total organ failure instantly.
That is not how reshuffle works, reshuffle doesn't actually lower the existing progress, it raises the points needed for a cure. So it lowers the % you see, but it does not matter when you take the perk because it raises the needed points with the same points. You can see this effect when you look at the "cure graph", you will see that it does not influence the research points done. Only the total amount needed.

Great video 👍 but you can devolve symptoms so there's a lower chance a cure gets started. This means you can spread more easily and sometimes even infect everyone on the world before they have even found you disease
Little "Hack" i used when i played that game: If it mutates any symptoms, but you want the disease to remain unnoticed, you can directly pause the game (normally it pauses by it self) and "re-evolve" the symptom. It normally gives you free points and it massively reduces the risk that it gets spottet. :)
Awesome video, love watching plague Inc come back Just a few tips for the game itself The air filters notification means that the disease has to upgrade the air transmission to cancel it out, there's also a similar notification for boats. In bacteria difficulty you can unevolve some symptoms and gain DNA points, in higher difficulties, this is backwards, and you spend them to keep the mutations at bay.
On transmission; stick to the similar trees (eg, animals; transport) so you can get the center one and its absurd how strong the transmission rate becomes.

Game is super easy to cheese.... play as normal (I usually start in Egypt) rush for insects/water/air, pop bubbles, also get heat/cold resistance etc as you go - pause when ever there is a random mutation, and refund(de-evolve) the trait, get some points back - keep doing this until 100% are infected... (should have ZERO mutations) then pause the game, and go from the bottom left up to 'total organ failure'.... no time to detect, and everyone dies in about 2 minutes! :)

Tip 1: Devolve any symptoms before all people have been infected, then mutate symptoms Tip 2: Save DNA throughout the game until all people are infected, then mutate symptoms such as total organ failure that increases lethality.
