Bill for this show...
Dillinger Escape Plan
Drowning Man
dimitri's vocals are god damn amazing. i love the sound of his voice
I have to hand it to Ben for persevering through all those lineup changes and having to constantly show new players how to play these songs. Must have been an absolute drain on him.
I am very grateful to the person who uploaded this video. I always wanted to see what CI-era Dillinger shows looked like, and now I know. Dimitri is awesome, and watching him tear through 43% Burnt was incredible.
Nice profile pic!

Between Abe the Cop and Destro's Secret there is a little bit of Weekend Sex Change
@@wilwin6434 It's actually X#.... they use that part live as an intro for Destro's Secret when Chris was around
43% burnt is my bridge over troubled water.
I can hear this. I'm just playing the songs in my head right along with them. Just unbelievable. How in the world did the cameraperson manage this; I hope they went on to become a motion picture director for Hollywood! How in the world does Pennie keep a hold on the tempos?!?!?!?!?!?!? How does WineMan (sp?) just do that on guitar?!?!?! The bass player is about to boiunce himself to the moon and I'm freaking out listening to this!!!!!!!!! Dillinger, you are the best!!!!!!!
Thank you! There was maybe only 60-70 people at this show. Great to see them in such a small environment, before they started playing big stages.
R.I.P. Dillinger. This was such an insane line up. The stories about that bassist are just mind blowing too.
What are the stories
Pun intended?
Just look up Adam Doll stories from Ben Weinman or Greg Puciato, theyre floating around. He was in a gore band called SCAT that had some wild tales of their live shows. He also survived being shot in the head.
@@jaysinmak8893 Jeff Wood was the guy in scat, no? I think this is Jeff playing here
@@jaysinmak8893 It was Jeff Wood, not Adam
Love this! I got to see this lineup and that show back in the day in Toronto.
Absolute game changer Calculating Infinity/Dillinger were.
I’m so happy this is on UA-cam. I remember this as one of the best shows I’d ever seen
The Living Room! Great little spot to see bands in Santa Barbara County. Wasn’t present at this show, but seen plenty there
Great footage! Thank you!
1:10 did that dude really just blow fire into the crowd. i think this is a bit early in their career for pyrotechnics lmao
He certainly did! The ceiling was only about 10ft from ground, plus he was on a raised stage
In seattle he did a somersault into the pit then blew the fire. They got banned from the venue but still. Best DIY show I’ve ever seen. The way they integrated samples from “seven” into the set was so epic. At the time botch and the VSS were the only DIY bands who had a “light show,” but calculating era Dillinger was out of this world.
@@RustinChole I would give anything to go back in time and see them during their Calculating Infinity days. I only got to see them once, one of their final shows ever. And it was amazing.
I remember playing the living room.
I remember seeing Godstomper many times!
Dimitiri reminds me of Benjamin from Breaking Benjamin but if he could only scream
Digging how the fire breather's just wearing a Jurassic 5 shirt.
2:55 When you stub your toe
just four years prior to The Station nightclub fire. insane to see that dude running around with a fucking torch like that lol
Really wild to see this! This show was the first time I saw Dillinger. Lots of familiar faces in that crowd!
This was the only Dillinger to ever exist. nothing else.
Clip the apex is fucking insane
Is that Jeff Wood on bass?
Correct!
@@ThePizzaSeries I remember seeing DEP in London and Jeff's band Shat opened up for them...hilarious! 🤣
That’s you on bass, mate, if anyone is...
Digging Ben's chunky guitar tone here.
Question, was Dimitri just straight up yelling when he screams? Because I don't think I've heard anyone scream the way he does, or even greg for that matter.
was he doing cocaine at the end?
