Why the fuck is this record not even in their discography???🔥💀🔥First record I had from these kats (guess it was '99) my favorite version of Running Board is only on this record🔥💀🔥
I have long wondered why this album is scarcely recognized among their discography. The production is fine. It has their characteristic sound (although not quite as heavy and chaotic/harsh). I don't know what the deal is. The self-titled EP is excellent, especially considering it's their initial offering. I guess it's treated more like a demo than anything else. Brief aside: I always felt the same way about Mastodon's first release Lifesblood. It was an EP and it was fucking sick, but it was barely talked about.
Excellent, can this be bought on CD ? Cheers from England.... We occasionally have problems getting some non-mainstream music from America, copywrite problems? Sometimes I've had to do emails a phone calls.... it's not a matter of just clicking on Amazon. I've even bought via Japan, and one sneaky guy in Hong Kong who seems to bypass import taxes somehow{I got a guitar from him once ..shush!} ;~) Just looked quickly on horrid Amazon, there's currently one used CD in stock [about £8 plus postage + packing= £11] which doesn't include the last 3 tracks=those ones I'm most interested in probably! More research needed as usual. I would avoid using Amazon if i can.
Hotelfire Got any spare copies? I've got some rare Floyd on cassette if you want it. 1973 the 4 of them playing Atom Heart Mother electronically without the Orchestra. I don't need any money ... I have a few spare, but so many people don't have cassette players anymore. I've still got a good one, and a turntable and old vinyl , and a decent VHS player! Cos I'm mid fifties now and have kept everything music related. Some vinyl is probably valuable now!?!
I first got all thier stuff from Limewire, it was the new thing after Napster was killed. I saw them open for DANZIG and they stole that show! I'd NEVER seen cats do that Meatalcore swing with the guitars. They THRASHED HARD and I'd never heard anything more technical!.... and for the HITS at the end of 43% burnt.... Dimitri blew HUGE fireballs!! You could only order their CDs from RELAPSE. A hobo child I couldn't afford or find the CD so I had to dL em. Now you can Torrent them. That how I still have em from like 8 years ago. Its NOT supporting the band!!! But when something is out if print and they're slow about getting back in print? I NEED that music! So I'll dL it and buy it later when they decide to TREAT the fans to it again! 🤘🎸🤘🎸🤘🍻🍻
Dimitri’s vocals are pure hatred and anger. I fucking love it
My favorite line up and album by them.
Woaw I remember my friends older brother listening to this back in 98/99.. I had no clue it was TDEP
This is better than some of their later work
