Listen to Bryan here, he's a wise man! I have only used BSD in the past of these 3 but its SOOOOOO much more than a QD, that description really does it a disservice IMO. Even the bottle for BSD is amazing but then again, these are German made❗👍
I do have PNS and BSD on my car at the moment. If you don't have a garage to apply a coating thats pretty much the closest you can get, minus the scratch resistance. I used to wax my car, but since it is black and I am parking outside all year long, even premium waxes never had the durability, especially in the summer where my car gets very hot. That's why I really like this stuff.
This channel rocks!
Sonax BSD is a seriously overlooked product, a hidden gem that gives a lot of protection and flexibility as it is a bit like ONR, it can be used in so many ways! Having said that, my preferred combo is Fusso Coat as a foundation layer followed by BSD diluted 50/50 which I use as a drying aid or rinseless wash (summer). I throw a coat of Bouncer's Done and Dusted Si Edition occasionally for extra gloss and slickness, and I reckon it's a much better option to coatings. Well done again Brian!
A YEAR AGO I SEEN YOUR VIDEO. I TRIED TO COVER MY CAR THIS WAY. COATED LAYER LASTING LESS THAN A YEAR. BUT EVEN 10 MONTHS I THINK IT'S OK. GOING TO COVER AGAIN IN THE SAME WAY. THANKS FOR SHOWING THE VIDEO. I WAS VERY SATISFIED.THIS TRIO REALLY WORKS.
You are the ultimate 💪 detective finding these performance products that compete with coatings. Way cool.
Sonax BSD 🔥 so potent and beads and repels better than some coatings
Sonax Polymere Netshield is (like the other two) a standalone product. Should Not be topped with anything else. And you will see it performs even better. Especially Spray and Seal is only wet-sealant (spray directly on wet Paint) and is the weakest product, only degrading BSD and especially Polymere Netshield.
Greetings from Germany
I had never heard of these products but they look incredible and extremely durable. Thanks.
I completely stand by your torture test. I have been using Sonax BSD on top of Fusso Coat for a while now and they are a match made in heaven! BSD make the blacks look rich and the whites look bright! I have yet to come across to a Sonax product that I don't like. What a great company. And you are right. It is heat resistant.
Polymer Net Shield is a classic! The water beading with that is nuts
I have used this trio twice now and it looks amazing on my Mazda CX-5. Will use up the other products in my garage and keep this as my core products moving forward. Thanks!
Really great review Brian always bringing something new and interesting to the detailing table.
I enjoy every video and always watch them over and over again. You are the best Brian always looking forward for the next video.
I really enjoyed learning different methods to protect my cars paint. Great video!
Wow, what an awesome option
Thanks since what I have from Sonax is their alcantara cleaner which is excellent.
Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Been preaching PNS &BSD for years but without the Seal n shine. I just found out about Spray n rinse products being applied by hand. They are better that way. I will add this to my middle step. Good stuff “B”.
Ive been waiting on this review since you made the post on FB Group! Havent clicked play yet, I wanted to say thank you for your time, Money and effort you put on each video! Thank you sensei
I've used a bottle of just the BSD and that stuff is amazing. Very hydrophobic and durable.
After I was my car I always use Sonax Brilliant shine and it is amazing.
Love this video!!
Nice thanks Brian
I like this combination ✊Great video and product stack up. I have a few people who don’t want to have a coating applied to their car. They lease and don’t want to put the money into it. I will use this for a few cars thanks Brian ✊💎
Very good trio that chemically work.
I watch this video everyday because of how crazy the beads are
great test. sonax make some great products.
i use pns and top it off with spray and seal, lasts and lasts.
always use bsd diluted 50% with soft water, as a drying aid.
This is why he's the Apex!
Another excellent video!!!
Now thats some proper protection 😎🤘🏼
Thanks B!!
Awesome! I have all these except Spray and Seal. Sonax has incredible products for very reasonable prices. BSD is one of the best "bang for the buck" quick detailers out there with super long longevity and holds it's own as an LSP too!
One thing that I really like that you say Brian is: "Don't hoard products like me, just use up what you have, and buy when you need it". That is so very true. Trust me, I know this first hand. I got "sucked down the rabbit hole" as they say and was buying products after viewing videos on UA-cam and one day my wife called me out on it. She saw my staggering amount of detailing products in my garage and said "Do you really use ALL of those?". And the honest answer was: NO. Oh, I used them once, maybe, and then onto something else, and else, and else, and, well, you get the point. With the THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of detailing products now available these days, you'll be broke in no time if you try to get them all. If you get a good product, fantastic, use it up until it's gone. Then, either buy it again, OR, if you like trying new things, try something else, and use that until it's gone. If you don't like the second one, use it up anyway, and go back to whatever worked for you. The point here, is with the amount of products available these days, and it truly is MIND BOGGELING, get something for the least amount of money, that WORKS THE BEST. Best bang for your buck is where it's at. I've now taken Brian's advice to heart here and I am going to TRY and use up what I currently have in stock. It may take me a lifetime to use what I have, but I am going to give it a shot. Find a brand you like, stick with it. Use an APC (they do a LOT with one product and you can buy a gallon of that stuff CHEAP!), you don't need 15 different products for 15 different surfaces here folks. One good APC can narrow you down in most circumstances. Granted, there are some specialty products out there that are specific like iron removers, clay bars, etc. But if you can use one product for 15 different things, effectively, why wouldn't you? You only usually need one paint protectant product (a good one) and you're good to go in most cases. 25 different waxes and coatings might not be the best choice for the average Joe out here. 1, 2, or even three max, you're good to go. OK, i'm done ranting now. But great advice Brian, and a great channel too! Thank you sir.
That Sonax is pretty good stuff. I use that or the Jescar Powerlock plus with Beadmaker on that one. Boom, done ✅
Great new intro!
Love from india. Really informative video
You are the best!
another great option 4 coating car w/o ceramics .tried new seal and shine with new ice spray wax great combo as well a lot cheaper.b well good friend thanks again
Good review of sonax products
I finally got this combo onto my wife's Atlas today. It was work, as the last two layers were a bit grabby, and my MF towels are very light. I can't say we did it perfectly, but it looks amazing. We will likely get a lot of rain in Georgia through the next couple of months, so I want all of our vehicles ready for winter soon.
Great stuff
I use ldf layer of protection wax Fusso 12 Months and sonax bsd the effect is just excellent
Good job
Very interesting
Thank you for showing alternative ways to protect paint that is more affordable and just as effective as ceramic coatings. I was just curious on your thought process that you chosen those products and the order you stacked them.
Great video.sir. We love the pns+ bsd combo in europe. Great video.
It will be interesting to see what gloss and slickness results gives the PNS topped with sonax carnauba speed spray wax.
I am also interested
Brian, maybe you could make a video directly comparing this combo with other combos, I think it would be great content
Another great video although an oldie but a goodie! Can you help me understand how you know what order to apply these types of stacks? I also have a bunch of customers who don't want anything to do with ceramics or graphene yet. So with the Meg's stack you did now this one, I was wondering if there was a reason you put products on in a specific order?
I had to scrub the BSD offof my car with Meguiars Wash Plus to be able to do a correction a few days ago. It's super durable! I wonder how three layers of straight BSD would compare against this stack. If it were slick, it might be my favorite detailing product of all time.
I use beadmaker after bsd and it really helps with gloss and getting rid of the tacky finish left by bsd.
I would like to see these 3 products put against each other with the torture test and also would like to know which one displays a higher gloss. Thanks again friend. Cheers
Great video.. Can I use BSD on the windows as well?
Hi Brian, you should do a duel, with this trio sonax vs meguiar's fast finish + hybrid ceramic spray wax + hybrid ceramic detailer. Would it be interesting a trio that looks a bit like this !?
On one panel I had an excellent result with only fast finish and hybrid ceramic detailer.
(although some detailers had a better result with fast finish than sonax net shield in terms of resistance, to see!)
You had an excellent result with your video "mega meguiar's stack! When do you think?
I use Sonax Polish&Wax 2 NPT in combination with Sonax BSD. The BSD-coat I refresh all 4 weeks and the Hybridwax underneath is protected always and works over month. So I have polished, waxed and sealed my car in less than 2 hours in one step, which I repeat 3-4 times the year. It's eaxactly the timetable of protection where the Wax/BSD-combination works perfectly until I polish/wax and seal my car once more and in the same way as described.
Thanks for your interesting Video. You always see BSD on top working, it doenst interest BSD what is underneath it.
Hey Brian, how about panels left out in the sun for x amount of days. Then test it after a week, two weeks, etc.
Brian how is it that these coatings can withstand chemicals so well but don't last after driven through a few rains?
Damn it, Brian. 3 more products in my cart 🤪
It’s Brian
@@briandraper7630 edited! ✌️😅
Have you tested or tried system X ceramic coating on your channel?
Can you test the Dr. Beasley Formula 1201 that you recently showcased in the channel looking for durability since it’s very easy to use for mobile detailing. Thanks in advance.
What I haven’t seen someone do is use there own vehicle for the test. Not a panel that’s wiped 10 times then call it a 10 wash deal when said panel was already clean.. I’m talking use a panel off the daily driver squared off and cleaned once per after being out in the elements accumulating actual wear n tear. That’s what will show the chemicals true durability. This spray with water then washing it won’t cut it. Depending on where your at sure results will vary but at least throw some dirt mud or rock salt on the panel so it can be more realistic
Dear Brian, can i apply this to Glass? I really love UV resistance ability of Net Shield, I hope that I can use on glass too. I have NetShield and BSD at home and just wait for your confirmation before I apply. Thank you
If I use those 3 together, I can happily enjoy a ceramic coat feel?
What was the product that gave more shine, until today? Most get 10-15 more gloss
So you can dilute the bsd ? 🤔
I like sonax but wouldn't seal-n-shine with griots 3-in-1 wax be more tenacious with more gloss?
Decisions, decisions.. Turtle 🐢 wax ice combo or this trio? I use Sonax to cut and polish and love their products. Great video, love the channel. Should I get the TW duo or Sonax trio ??
+1, wondering how $20-25 worth of Turtle Wax product stacks up against $45 of Sonax product. Torture test video time!
Brian can you please do a review of Koch Chemie fine polish F6, PLEASE!
Can use pns as lsp? How to compare it to meg hcw or tw ceramic. I need UV protection not water behaviour
Can I use BSD only because the PNS and Spray and Seal are a little bit pricey in my area? They are also hard to buy.
What happened to the traffic film test??
What brought you to this particular combo?
Second!
Hello,
Can I use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer on engine bay and undercarriage...
"I know that there are other products for such areas, but is it good to have Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer"
Hello everyone dices anyone know if there is a video review ir they highspeed wax? O would like yo know the diffrence between brillant shine detailer and the highspeed wax. Please help me out. Cheers from Mexico
How much is this trio resistance to micro scratches..
Hallo, does BSD have UV protection ??
Would like to see BSD vs Turtle hydrophobic or how it's been called. Found Turtle better for me. Not so crazy on beads but sheets more, slick as slick can be, less cleaning potential, considering as a not needed imo. And looks. BSD is plasticky, good sort of. Turtle does something no other product does. Not best for metallics for my liking. Not darkening. It just candysise solid paint ;) and keeps it cleaner for longer.
First great video
Sorry I was first 🤣

When are you gonna do the Japanese wax comparison? I believe it was fusso coat vs Navi wax? ( Not sure what the second wax is actually called )

Hey Brian, I’m planning on doing a white Tesla this weekend a full paint correction any advice on dealing with this type of clear coat and paint, thanks. For polishes I have 3D one, griots fast correcting cream, MaxShine super finish polish, meguiars polish DA, meguiars mirror glaze and meguiars correction compound. And for pads I have your favorite 50/50, MaxShine yellow pads, rupes medium yellow wool, GG orange collection pad and black finishing pads.
Thinking of doing a 2 step and fishing it off with spray ceramic coating, any advice would be very helpful. And should I buy 3D 501 I’m thinking about it.
Soft and thin. Go with 3D One.
Apex Detail and what type of pad?
And this a polymer base omg! So polymer is good? So question next why ceramic and why graphene ceramic? Next question is what I call Hybrids like ones that have ceramic S IO2 and polymers? Your thoughts please and be honest.
Brian Brian! or anybody else! I need help or advice about BSD step. today I tried this 3-step method. 1st and 2nd step went smooth, however at 3rd step I applied BSD to the surface with foam applicator and left it on for 5 mins, afterwards when I was on buffing stage I had a pretty hard time buffing it out in compare to 1st and 2nd step as already mentioned. what could be the problem? could it be that I left it on for too long therefore it was hard to buff it off or does it normally take tremendous effort, like really tremendous effort?
You left it on too long. Just wipe on and wipe off, if you leave it on too long, just use a damp microfiber cloth and it'll be fine
Dam can u out that again fusso coat
Didn't you post a picture on youtube saying you applied graphene coatings on all your cars? I don't know why I'm hearing something else in this video
This or Can Coat?
Prices about 20 to 25% higher on Amazon direct from Sonax or direct from Sonax distributor?
Order from wherever you can find it at a decent price.
is bsd substantial enough to dress tires and trim?
replace Brilliant shine (which is also very good) with ABDL Synthetic Spray wax (is again slightly stronger than Sonax) and you have the best mixture. You can save yourself spray and seal.
a
You want to say « dilute bsd + ADBL ssw »?
I got spray and seal for $4, BSD for $5, and the ceramic detailer for $2 at advance auto parts. They are not selling certain brands anymore so the discounts are insane!
Wow! I'm about to do my first ever machine polish and was planning on ceramic coating the car afterwards but now I'm in two minds, especially as I already have BSD in the post to me and due to arrive today. I'm a bit nervous about doing a ceramic too.
Out of interest Brian why do you use BSD 5:1 as maintenance rather than neat?
BSD is an outstanding product even diluted. So you want to make your money last longer, go for it. I dilute it 50/50 with Megs Last Touch which makes the surface slicker and antistatic too!
@@JWL-UK thanks for the tip! Any idea if BSD makes black look blacker? I'm planning to use it on my refurbished black alloys, I've heard others really rate it for alloys
@@steverabbits I love it on my alloys! No need to buff, just apply it with a damp MF or while drying it and that's it. My alloys are all finished in silver through. Black trim does look darker with BSD though.
@@JWL-UK brilliant! Thanks!
@@steverabbits Anytime mate! :) Another product to consider as your foundation layer once you've polished the car is Fusso Coat. It's an amazing product that you can then stack BSD on top and/or use it as a maintenance product. 15 months+ durability in real-life test (17K miles in the north of the UK). It never failed actually. I just could not delay polishing the car any longer! :) Car didn't need claying and had minimal fall-out contamination on. Minimal love marks as well.
Hey Brian great review do you have any way of contacting tac system I want to buy tac moonlight but the web site is down an I emailed them an no answer if not what other product is just as good I really like this stuff though
Carzilla.ca. That is where I order Mine from.
hey Brian! great video and great extra value package to offer to customers. I am wondering, does it has to be Sonax Spray & Seal or can it be any other Sealant, maybe TW Ice Seal & Shine?
I'm no expert, but Brian does mention that the three products have the same polymer technology, and I would bet that similarity would cause a synergistic effect where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The new TW SNS has SiO2 which may not play nice with other coatings.

I was first 😆 lol
@@onrdetailingnews802 first anal is still first
How long will the protection last ?
Unless you have a smart car, putting 3 different products will be a lot of work.
Stacks aren't for everybody.. but this is a nice alternative for those hesitant to make the jump to coatings but still want to get as close to coating level performance as possible. All three of these are relatively quick and easy to apply, you'd be surprised how quickly you can get it done. Something like Fusso would be another good option, by itself, or using BSD or something similar on top of it would work very well to maintain it.. lots of ways to go, and it's always good to have options.
👍👌✌
Keith Olsen Fusso + BSD to maintain.
@@Mark-cw3io yep, that's a very good pair, is that what you use currently? Some people don't like working with Fusso, but in most cases they're just applying too heavy.. with an even thin coat removal is no problem and you're looking at up to a year of solid protection if you use a sacrificial topper.
But now that sio2 is so mainstream, everyone wants coatings, so I don't get to work with Fusso or base synthetic sealants all that often. But I enjoy using them and still do on personal vehicles.
👍👌✌
So, how do you actually know that it is the combination of all three products that performs or it is just one of them (either the last one you applied or just the base one as the others didn't really bond to the first one and you removed them with the towel)? Because that's the issue with topping / layering in general, you just aren't able to tell for 100% sure which product it is that you see performing. Interested to hear your thoughts on this.
I have tried them individually...and as a team. Best as a trio.
Just curious, have you tried locking in net shield with BSD and finishing with SNS?
