- Lhoba people live in a valley south of the Himalayas. Nowadays, almost every family has a government-subsidized house at the foot of the mountains, but Lindong, an old hunter, prefers living in the mountains. He wants to teach his grandson the ways of a hunter.

A very informative and educational documentary about how way of Tanyhi people on other side arunachal Pradesh is striving for existence. Here, on our indian side we have trived the tradition, culture and preservation. We are still following every aspect including modern relevance.

#CGTN should considering making another documentary of Lobha people about their culture and traditions. It's fascinating to see how similar their culture to us across the border. Their language is almost identical to our language, i could understand what they are saying and tools they made for haunting is exactly same as ours even the gears and dress are also identical.

They used to trade with Tibetans for salt,jade stones...
Their were many similar cultures once in Tibet,taiwan,china..
But the mandarian and Cantonese
Colonised and reevaluated their cultures..
It was the Indian who used to call them wild and illiterate before..
Because they were having different culture and also were aggressive...

Not China. Chinese people living in Tibet. Lhoba means people of southern Tibet in Tibetan words. But these days we are very misunderstood seperated under the control of Two nations India and China.

lhoba actually means tribal people so all the tribal people in tibet are collectively called lhoba by the mainland chinese.whereas in truth the mishmi lhobas (comprising of three groups) are different fron the tani lhobas.almost all the lhobas at one point have migrated to the indian side where they live today but infact they originally are all tibetian tribals.
We didn't migrated from anywhere. Actually this is our land for centuries but Indians came here only after 1965 before that our people didn't even saw a single brown person before. Historically we were never part of India.
We tani people of Arunachal and Lhoba tani in China are in the our own land from time immemorial. But indians came here and separate us tani people

India is a bad luck for Arunachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh was never a part of India... There is no mention of India in our history, not even 1%. From our origin we shared our history,culture and trade with Tibet, China....
This history is tracked back to when British Colonist draw a McMahon Line as boarder they claimed for British India and Tibet/China in early 20 century, divided into two-side. After India independent, India claimed this land as she inherited what British did. This is the version we learn in China
