The Minyong mixong, mili, miyu, mihu once settled in a place called "Midi Yaying" near TSiang river of present upper Siang, they migrated back upward moved eastward through Singa and assimilated with Idu , the others who migrated following Siang river are Mili, Misong etc are the part of Mising Tribes of Assam. The last Tibetan tax collector of upper Siang was dzong Dewa Lama. Dewa lama was last seen in 1948. After that the trade road Called "Gone matne" closed n we lost contact with our people beyond Mcmohan line.
Did the "Modi" clan of Adi Minyong tribe also move to Gujarat. The Modi surname is also found in Gujarat. Narendra Modi, Kokila Modi must be your relatives. Hahaha.
