Shukran kteer!! This is really an amazing lesson! You took a beginner's level topic and added depth to it by including such great examples of how prepositions are commonly used in colloquial speech. Much appreciated!!
Maharbaan, ustadha! Great lesson like always, I really found it very useful! These suffixes are really very important,or rather imperative for speaking Arabic correctly! Shukraan jazilaan wa barak Allah fiki!

Hello Manar, I've got a couple of questions. They're not about this lesson, but I hope I can ask you anyway :) 1) Are there any other ways to say "only, just" than "bas"? Because otherwise how can I say for example "but only", e.g. maa biddi qahwe, (but only) maai. Or would you simply use only "bas" to mean both in this sentence? 2) In some languages there are different ways to say "but" (e.g. in German sondern and aber, like when you say "not only...BUT also" is a different "but" from for example "I wanted to comet then BUT I got a cold"). Is it also in Levantine Arabic like this or would you use bas in both cases? Thank you a lot for your help and attention in advance!
Ahlan ustaadha, shukran kteer 3ala hadal feedeeo. At about 01:38, does the verb عم إستنى also mean "I am waiting" as opposed to "I am waiting for..." .For example, if I go to a take-away restaurant & I'm waiting until the food is prepared, can I say عم إستنى
MarHaba m3allimmeh, at about 11:11 which verb or verbs is used in the Levantine dialect when you are meeting someone from time to time? الله يخلينا ياكي، بِأمان الله مع السﻻمة
@@ArabicwithManar Shukran ustaadha. One final question please:Based upon your two examples, it seems that the verbs iltaqit & ijtama't need to be followed by the letter ba.For example, ana iltaqit/ijtama't beManar ilyom. Is that correct?
Marhaba! I have a question, can “a’leeki” also be used to tell someone they have something on them? For example a bug 🐜, and they ask, “where is it??!!” Can I say, “a’leeki!/a’leek!” To say that the bug is on him/her?
Hey, I’m trying to figure out something as simple as saying ‘for you’. I’ve seen websites tell me ‘لَك' but i’m a little unsure of it. Is ‘Lak’ correct? And is it truly pronounced as just Lak?
