Here is wishing Teal a complete recovery. It's got to be really bad when the captain is down like that. And here is to the most important member of any ships crew. The cook. The crew can put up with a lot of hardships when the food is good. And this crew has a magician for a cook. It seems that no mater the state of provisions Linh always comes up with an excellent meal. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
You guys are the best. I hope I don’t know where your neck trip is gonna take you, but I’ll be turning in and watching it. Never get tired of your show. It’s really good.
Hey, I'm so glad to see you there out and about away from land I want to say to future boaters planning on visiting this area. Please bring some extra things with you that you might want to donate to these people on the islands. I'm sure they would appreciate it greatly. Compass, Teal, Emma, Linh. ❤
Glad to see Teal up and around. Glad the sharks kept under the boat while Teal was checking the anchor. I loved your attitude about your low food supplies Linh, I don't think I would have been that positive in fact I am not that positive even though I live 2 blocks away from a grocery store. You are a great example to me and others that have nothing to complain about. Have a great week ahead to all of you.
Plucky used to go out in the reefs to spear fish caught something every day. He never cleaned his fish on the boat though. Always went over to one of the islands so it would attract sharks to his boat.
Hoping Teal is feeling better (we are way behind on the Patreon chat - sorry!) and what an amazing meal once again. The water is so beautiful there. Cheers!
Teal, I'm glad to see you are up and about. Let's try and stay healthy for a while. I see everything is working fine with compass.😀 Thank you for another beautiful video, now stay safe
I wish I could always look down and see the entire anchor chain and the anchor like that. Here in the CA Delta, you're lucky if you have 2ft of visibility.
The Islanders no doubt use chumming places to attract the fish where they harvest them, they probably have a way to keep the sharks away from the chum and the fish traps
We think this area has been over fished based on info other cruisers who have been in this area for the past 10 years. The locals are fishing as much as they can to eat and trade and there has been a steady decline in the amount of fish in this area. We didn't show when they would come by with the smallest lobsters/fish to sell or trade. We declined and tried to explain to them they were too small to catch and consume. Not sure they understood the ramifications of what this does to their eco system and future.
Thanks and great job crew.. Cool how the bottom displays things like start fish, just sitting there. Was surprised no one has not cut that chain.. sure that would have been a great bartering product wants cleaned up!!. At least your missing the hurricanes.. for one have lost my house and will only be able to dream your lifestyle 😢 for the next year while I rebuild from scratch.. Hmm maybe buy boat and just leave!!! 😢. . Enjoy stay safe.. enjoy that fresh "catch"
Great episode, guys. 👍🏻🎉 Thanks for the hint of having things others can use to barter with for fish 🐠 etc. A win/win/win ‼️ I have a culinary/environmental question. How do you dispose of used cooking oil and what kind of container is used? Will come in handy when we get on board for us. Thanks in advance. And be well. 😊 See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨
Unless you guys are OK I hope you’re feeling OK. All the bugs and stuff I was in Vietnam. I got all that I hear you malaria and all that stuff. Lucky you didn’t get hurt. Love you guys been watching you guys for a long time. Wonderful OK goodbye
Glad Teal is feeling better. But if you want an easier way to scale fish, one trick is to use a spoon; curved side up. And if you can, hold the fish in a filled bucket of water. Or underwater in general. And start at the tail and work your way towards the head.
Emma is going off to college soon with quite a lot of unusual experience on her CV :) and we will be saddled with Teal to do the voiceovers - I am not complaining only preparing, it is like when Mads suddenly started cruising after 5 years of refitting Athena - there will be a transition 😅
Just curious, if you had the trip-line, why did you not try to retrieve a potentially valuable anchor? A rolling hitch to one of your lines wrapped around your windlass, or any other winch could have worked. Patience and a few inches at a time and you might have salvaged a new anchor.
Do you ask the local's if they need anything when you guys are making a run to restock on supply's? So when you come back you can try and bring what the need to make a better trade?
Tire wash you guys I add more comments now and you guys are the best and pretty talk to you when you got sick. Damn, I had that stuff in Vietnam and malaria all that stuff anyway good talking to you guys take care bye
Glad you pulled the plug on that anchorage Teal.. just tell me this picture of you being 🎉circled by sharks is not real right ? I can't picture you doing that, especially right after being rundown.. all sharks are potentially death threatening to humans esp a hungry one or two ! Dont press your luck by putting yourself in danger like that if this is for real.. those things are way to freakin huge for me to feel comfortable around ! ! ! Glad you made it back to health , gotta thank the guy upstairs including Linh for pulling you through that... Id be hungry as ever now .
Teal, I'm very happy that you didn't get eaten by the sharks. That would have been a real bummer for all of us who care about you. . . well, also you you, I suppose. 🙄
Ok. I’m the negative commenter. Love the family, but am considering breaking up with them. Cannot understand why Teal wants to be barebacked all of the time. On camera. 🥴And who wants to see a dog, any dog do #2! Anyone else agree?
As far as the dog, a number of people over the years have asked how that is handled. As far as Teal is concerned, it's hot where they are. This is a lifestyle channel, hence the channel name, so they show how they live.
I am totally confused why these guys do not have at least 500,000 subscribers or over a million
cause we enjoy the vids [ I'm a patron] , but the vids are a bit lame and short, just everyday life, - which is fine, but they ain't no Vagabond
@@nigelha3699 to each their own , I don't care for Vagabond
@@nigelha3699I love these guys. I feel like they are my friends and yes I know that isn’t true but it feels great anyway. Compass is also adorable.

Question answered! Wonderd where Compass handled business!😂
"I'm thankful for everything we have" short on supplies but not complaining.
Love the 9-1 rode. The crew seems more relaxed with longer duration stops.
Great episode guys, nice to see Teals feeling better.
That water was so clear. Cheers.
Always great looking meals and I'm glad to see Teal up and moving around. Hope he gets over that stuff soon.
Thank you
I can almost smell Linh's cooking...mmm Great show as always, Thanks!
You guys are the best. I hope I don’t know where your neck trip is gonna take you, but I’ll be turning in and watching it. Never get tired of your show. It’s really good.
Good stuff guys. Linh my wife loved seeing your fish fry. It reminded her of her days at lake of the Ozarks with family and their fish fry there.
Always good 👍
Compass is entertaining

I'm glad you're feeling better Teal. That "swimming pool" area reminds me of the Abaco, Bahamas. You and the family would enjoy the Abacos.
Plucky used to go out in the reefs to spear fish caught something every day. He never cleaned his fish on the boat though. Always went over to one of the islands so it would attract sharks to his boat.
*wouldn't ?
What a refreshing video and beautiful family! Thank you! I look forward to your future videos!!!❤
Thanks for watching! We appreciate your kind words. 😊

Groovy episode. Always lovely looking food on your sailboat.
Glad Teal is feeling better. The fish Linh cooked looked delicious!
Seeing all those other boats at anchor makes me think of all the untold stories of cruisers far and wide. Glad we can share the ride with Teal & Co.
Teal, I'm glad to see you are up and about. Let's try and stay healthy for a while. I see everything is working fine with compass.😀 Thank you for another beautiful video, now stay safe

Beautiful anchorage. Great to have fish delivered to your boat. Love the trading.
It's a truly special way to live.
I bet that meal was really good, what a lucky guy you are. Glad you're feeling better.
Prayers answered for Captain Teals recovery ❤️🩹 🐻
Thanks, Chef Linh and Teal and Emma, and I can't forget Compass . Thank you for the video.
Safe travels
16:25 Beautiful presentation !
13:56 Hopefully deckhand Compass got a taste ( lol )

Not sure if Lavender grows where you guys are, but 2 pots of them in our backyard helped keep us mosquito-free all summer. Cheers.

Glad Teal is feeing better
I just looked up screens to block out no-see-ems and there is such a thing. Maybe you can lay them on top of your existing screens?
Emma is going off to college soon with quite a lot of unusual experience on her CV :) and we will be saddled with Teal to do the voiceovers - I am not complaining only preparing, it is like when Mads suddenly started cruising after 5 years of refitting Athena - there will be a transition 😅
Nice. yes the mosquitoes are bad.
Scary to hear the fish are gone . We better be careful or we are next .

Cliff hanger, will we get fresh produce or not :) GG Thanks. :)
Why is there no fish? 40 seconds later sharks show up? oh that is why haha

Jaws was innocent, he was only looking for lunch.
You could grow tomatoes in a pot quite easily I think.
How to get bit. Start chumming by your boat
Not paying attention and forgot to watch the clock so I'm late again. 😥
Hey hey
😎
👍👍🥳
💗👍😁
You might try dropping 2 anchors in a row with your boat in the middle.
Teal, I'm very happy that you didn't get eaten by the sharks. That would have been a real bummer for all of us who care about you. . . well, also you you, I suppose. 🙄
Hello Gene!
How was the fish
delicious!
4:50 I could have used some translation subtitles
Did you all read the “Black Gull” series? Let me know what you think please.🐻
!st! I'm such a child. Hi Guys!
👍🧿
So, over fishing locally I'm guessing.
Not necessarily.
The fish may be somewhere so as not to be eaten by a shark.
🤐

No, you did not, chicken 😊
Please NO MORE a dog poop 🤮
