Huge pet peeve of mine whenever people choose to deliberately walk in the road if there's a sidewalk present. Walkers are almost as inconsiderate as cyclists, especially walking like 2-4 people wide on a busy street when there's a damn sidewalk. I don't personally have a sidewalk, but I know a few people that do on their property. Up here in CT the property owner is responsible for maintenance, so snow removal etc. There's fines if one doesn't do it.

Uncle Jack just a heads up they run on the road because asphalt is softer then concrete, easier on the joints etc. The more you know.
