If you are a fan of the Saturn and still want to be able to use discs with ODE, keep in mind you can install a Fenrir DUO w/SD card and the Saturn Switcher from Will's Mods. I just installed that combo on a launch style Saturn and it's great.
Also remember if you have a Dreamcast a RT4K, VGA is cheap and looks GREAT.
Man, the world could be a mess but these are always wholesome to watch.

Nice to see Marco's vid featured, I was just checking out his channel for downscaling with the retrotink and other sources and found all of them quite interesting and a nice compliment to your information back on your tink 5x vid. Great vid as always bob have yourself a good rest of your day.

The day someone figures out a good replacement/upgrade to the Saturn's Cart Slot is the day the Saroo will truly shine bright.
Someone in one of the Facebook groups gave me the proper core INI override settings for AO486 so that it works properly on my VGA monitor. I have an alt INI file just for it -- not sure why it's not more widely documented.
ao486 core's analog output has always been kinda weird in my experience. It seems to only work on a VGA CRT monitor via VGA_scaler, so you would need to set that to on in the INI, and set a resolution that works for you, if you want it to play on a CRT monitor. I'm not the biggest fan of that, since that affects the resolution that the HDMI-out outputs as well... so for me personally, I have a monitor that's capable of 1600x1200, and that means I can just use an HDMI-to-VGA adapter, and have the regular 1080p HDMI-out go to my VGA monitor (a Compaq V720 in my case), and the vertical resolution fits there. Kind of a messy setup, but that way I can play on a CRT while having the stream output be unaffected. Your situation might differ, depending on which monitor/resolution you want to aim for.

Holy shit thunder in paradise never knew they made a game, but I love the show grown up as a kid.
I would be interesting in SAROO if there is potential to add Netlink support to it via RJ45 or on board wifi module. Obviously as it stands you can't use Netlink as the SAROO occupies the cart slot unlike the Satiator.

@@RetroRGB Probably one of the best in the area! They have so much stuff coming in. And Leo has his own sister store in Springfield (since 2018 - OMG times flies). Most of my collection was built on the back of those 2 stores!
I bought a copy of Touge King: The Spirits last time I was in Japan for a couple bucks, awesome to know it has a 4-player mode!
I'm going to have to try Thunder in Paradise! I loved that show as a kid.
Like Bob said, the first boat level is a bit of a slog but once you're past it it's a lot of fun. Multiple endings and the enemy positions change every playthrough.
Does that Dreamcast SCART cable work with the RGB2COMP? the cable I've got from RGC doesn't, it looks magenta when played through the RGB2COMP so I can't use it on my CRTs, it works well with upscalers though
I was wondering this too. I got the component cable from RGC but it was defective. I sent it back, but they don't have enough parts to fix or replace it. They just sent me a refund.

I loved my little OUYA, but I don’t remember it having to be connected online all the time to work. In fact mine definitely wasn’t. I loved the original concept of it, that every game requires a demo so you had an idea of what every game was before you bought it. The moment they dropped that the system lost its biggest appeal to me.
Wouldn't the difference between the CDi and DOS versions of the FMV game be down to the codecs used? The CDi would have been some flavor of mpeg1 at 352x240-ish, but anything old enough to be running on DOS was probably using the Cinepak codec probably running at half that resolution. Cinepak suuuuuuuucked, but PC CPUs just couldn't handle video without extra hardware back then.

Never even herd of openBor. Maybe list some one's worth wile. seems to have an installer for windows. whatever some beat em up's sure why not. Tried some of them. Surprised there official name games. Different from consoles.
M.U.G.A.N was a popular fighting thing back in the day. Allowed to put custom characters and levels. They made copy's of fighting games maybe match up's you never would of seen. herd they added to the Xbox modding thing. Maybe convince them to put it on mister. PC thing as well.
Get them to add other stuff like kodi, vlc and stuff. To bad not 4k.
I like the upscalers better then putting the chip in for consoles for hdmi. Never know when they update the res for new displays. that means you gotta do it again. There are plenty of ports on the consoles for add on's. Why didn't they use those instead. Whatever.

As an unapologetic pro wrestling fan I'm incredibly amused that Thunder In Paradise, a really cheesy show Hulk Hogan was given just to keep him happy in WCW, is considered "the best FMV game." And it genuinely might be, but the show is SO CORNY! :D
