The playing was good, reminded me of what Marcus Miller might do but with some extra tapping. I think you should do something more ambitious a 15 minute medley of various MJ songs. But I think this stuff is getting to easy for you. Jazz improvisation is more out of your comfort zone (although I know you can play Donna Lee and Teen Town as well as anybody) but if you devote a half hour to improvising swing feel I think it would open up a big door for you in several months and expand your audience.
The exciting potential of that is to do a live video where you do some improvising and there is a risk of mistakes
People love to hear the humanity of making a mistake and then the ability to recover from it and keep playing.

Fun Fact: The Slap Bass that we hear in Smooth Criminal is actually played on a Synthesizer called: “Synclavier II” *Pronunciation Sin-Clav-ee-air* and the Patch Note is called: “Muted Piano” by Christopher Currell and another Bass Synth: “MiniMoog”. It would later be played on an actual Bass by Bassist: “Alex Al”.

In this video, at precisely 1:46 - 1:48 - there is this thing you do (twice in this 2 seconds, so you know what I am talking about), like a double strum - I have heard it in a bunch of your other songs. It just seems out of time - like crammed in there - even if it a difficult thing to do.

Stuart didn’t ‘Turnit loose’ as James Brown would say, kept it simple and funky AF!! BUT he’d put the odd funky little wiggle in here and there with some added muted notes and MY GOD did it slime it up!! … Your talent is off the chart!!! You must be a very powerful SITH lord as according to Darth Sidious ‘The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural’ … And what you play here must have been rehearsed whilst you were orbiting TON 618 during your force travels!!! Amazing dude, I just subscribed! In your recent videos I really like the way you dress, the visuals are simplistically beautiful ... and of course as many comments pointed out, you're not playing a song, you're rearranging it with amazing composition skills 😌😌😌 *Thank you for the artistry, thank you for sharing* 🌠🙏

Incredible bass playing, the man is playing rhythm and lead at the same time, dude takes it to a different level 😊.

Bitmap is the most versatile one with endless sound sculpting possibilities. But the filtered bit crush sound of the Ottobit is king, and its stutter is wild fun for drum machines. Own both and they are keepers.

I’m not a musician. I play guitar badly and understand exactly zero about music theory. That said I sit here in delighted awe of your music and I’ll try to watch every new video you release, because your jams always make me smile and the groove helps improve my day.

I’m wondering when Rick Beato is going to interview Charles. That would be awesome.

It's my opinion that he's currently the best bassist... Sure Victor Wooten and other past greats are still present/relevant but Charles is definitely moving the bar forward.
