But I think this stuff is getting to easy for you. Jazz improvisation is more out of your comfort zone (although I know you can play Donna Lee and Teen Town as well as anybody) but if you devote a half hour to improvising swing feel I think it would open up a big door for you in several months and expand your audience. The exciting potential of that is to do a live video where you do some improvising and there is a risk of mistakes People love to hear the humanity of making a mistake and then the ability to recover from it and keep playing.

a very underrated part of the original is the ACTUAL bassline, it's in the pocket, groovy, and smooth (pun intended?). Honestly when the song is remixed or covered it's often left out in favor of something more flashy and "fun to play". but it really is the backbone to the whole original.
