You're speaking facts. I wasn't getting any viewers at all but I started posting reels and shorts. I had 2 videos that combined for around 20k views on FB reels. After that my subscriber count went up and I started averaging 3 to 4 viewers each stream. Been following you for a bit now bro. Use all your OBS settings. Thank you for your hard work bro!
I started watching this and you said exactly what I'm doing already, made me feel good hahaha thanks for the tips!! Gonna keep creating content to start streaming later :D
I agree totally with this video! I have been doing gaming content consistently now for 2 months and my biggest focus is content. Live streaming for me just started about a week ago and has been great but the enjoyable factor for me and my viewers are long form content. Thanks for such great advise
@@hammerdance I was streaming on twitch before and I've gotten almost 4k followers but I noticed most of them are gone and some are just dead follows so I would be basically starting at 0. There is just more ways to get discovered on UA-cam and most people on twitch have gotten affiliated and don't want to stream without some kind of monetization
Only. Thing is asmall creator its to difficultto see reach affiliate cause of.youtbes crazy requirements twitch only ask for 50 views and 32 hours vs youtube crazy standers@hammerdance
I miss Mixer. I know it had no future and in hindsight, Microsoft likely only bought Beam so they could use the tech for their streaming service, but the sense of community in those early days was unrivaled for me.
Imagine, Mixer Shows fresh up today with all the Mess Twitch is come around and Kick with their reputation. I would one of the first who Switch without thinking about it for less then a Second. Twitch Slammed away my Partner application within 2 Hours, i Streamed for Constant ~130 People for a Full year at this Time. 15k UA-cam Subs i brought over to Twitch. After 1 Year i more then double the Subscriber Count of my UA-cam, promote my Twitch Account with it every Week Multiple Times. Again they Slam away my application. FK this Site, i only Stream on Twitchbc they have Stupid InGame Drops these Days and UA-cam is too complicated and unintuitive for Streaming.
Yeah thank you because I started twitch in 2021 it was hard and everything these people want you to follow but they don't follow you back and I am a supporter and I support people there stream and I keep on doing this forever but when they say they follow you back and waiting they don't follow you back so yeah but I'm happy I'm listening to this I might move myself on UA-cam and do more videos and live streams on UA-cam then twitch each UA-cam is better💯💯💯
Makes sense and covers the very basics. I was hoping to hear about pros/cons for twitch vs UA-cam live but they're both probably fine. 0:12 nope: if your main reason to stream is making money you'll be very fake and will fail (and not just because by definition most people can't be famous). 0:34 I'm ok with "not going well" however it is still taking more time than I hoped. I'm thinking about scaling back.
To me, the reason why nobody new grows on twitch is because they become the cliche. By that l mean, they stream fortnite, COD, valorant, etc and don't do anything else. There's no variety so it becomes boring. A good way to grow is to join and be part of different communities. Raid channels, talk to streamers, be a regular while being your own streamer. This is why l believe it's actually easier to grow on twitch than on youtube. YT is content driven while twitch is community driven. The truth is, nobody new grows because they dont want to grow.

Great advice! Thank you! 😀
Yo Hammer, thx for the vid brother.
What do you recommend as free video editing software? And where can I get resources like sound effects and visual effects?
Nothing but the truth. I've been on the fence about where and how to start but now after watching you its UA-cam.
Glad I could help!

I figured this was the strategy, despite this 1 good video a week and a few shorts plus 2-3 streams a week is my goal.

To an extent I do agree with that you’re saying. I actually wrote a video about this last week, and I will be creating it in the upcoming weeks.
@@hammerdance Awesome! I look forward to watching it.
I don't say much when streaming on Twitch.
Can do youtube vs tiktok for straming ? What best for straming?
