INGREDIENTS
2 nos Tomato Big size, roughly chopped
¼ Cup Mango Cubed
¼ Cup Grapes
¼ Cup Banana Sliced
¼ Cup Apple Cubed
¼ Cup Dates Chopped
2 tbsp Golden Raisins
2 tbsp Cashews
1 Cup Sugar
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
2-3 drops Pineapple Essence
INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARE TOMATO JUICE
Take the chopped tomatoes in a mixer jar.
Grind the tomatoes to a smooth paste.
Pass the tomato juice through a strainer, and take clear tomato juice.
COOKING TOMATO-SUGAR SYRUP
Heat a pan. Add the strained tomato juice. Cook the tomato juice for 2-3 mins.
Then add the sugar to the pan. Mix well. The sugar will melt completely and the tomato-sugar mixture looks very watery in conisistency.
Slowly the tomato-sugar mixture gets thicker and the mixture becomes sticky and syrup like consistency.
MAKING MIXED FRUITS SWEET PACHADI
Now, the tomato-sugar syrup is ready, Let's add the chopped fruits and nuts.
Mix the fruits well with the syrup.
Finally add cardamom powder, pinapple essence and give a mix.
Allow the sweet pachadi to sit for 1 hour so that the syrup seeps and incorporates well with the mixed fruits.
SERVING
Serve the delicious mixed fruits sweet pachadi! This pachadi stays good for 3-5 days if refregirated.

Yes we need to switch off the flame before we add fruits. Some people even after adding fruits cook the pachadi but the fruits become more cooked and soggy in that method. So pls switch off the flame before adding fruits 😊🙏🙏🙏

Should we add the fruits to the syrup when it is hot or when it is cooled.
We need to switch off the flame once the tomato mixture comes to syrup consistency. Then, in the heat of the syrup, we need to add fruits.

Hi mam. My event on Saturday night. Can I do the syrup on Friday night and store in refrigerator? Then next day 2 hours bfre event add fruits and mix? Will that taste good the same? Kindly advise

No need to cool the syrup. We can switch off the flame and add the mixed fruits. We dont't want the fruits to get cooked.
Costly pachide normal person not able to eat
Whatever fruits normal persons can buy they can do this pachadi. There is no hard rules on what fruits we use. we can just make tomato sweet pachadi without any fruits also.
