- I am at Tropical Acres Farms in West Palm Beach Florida learning all about Haitian Mangos with Alex.
Haiti, officially the Republic of Haiti, is a country on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea, east of Cuba and Jamaica, and south of The Bahamas. Haiti shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic to its east.
You can see the website, and order these mangos to taste during the mango season. You can also order a Haitian mango tree from them or the budwood to graft your own mango tree.
The website for Tropical Acres Farms is:

Jump to the following parts of the Episode:
00:00 Episode start

We also discuss the Phil Mango which is less popular. Tropical Acres Farms does not have the Phil Mango. The mango from the Dominican Republic called Banilejo is also discussed
If you have a yard and you are growing fruit trees I'd love to come and film, especially if you are in the South Florida area. You can contact me at paul@rawlife.com please include the area you are in.

Really make us proud talking about Haiti. Yes they are all organics. Thank you
Thanks for representing Haiti well
I finally bit the bullet and tried Baptiste last year. They were great!! Small tree, indian spice, minimal fiber...no carrot detected.
Thanks for sharing! I love this variety super sweet and flavorful. Please do a Jamaica mangoes list video.
I love madam Francis mango. Grew up eating it and I got my love of mangoes from eating it growing up.
Most stores in usa do not sell Haitian mango in good condition except maybe Florida and new york in summers occasionally. Regardless nothing like off the tree or from Haiti because quality is far superior. Its full of juice and sweet
Paul this was such a wonderful video. Can u do a video on Jamaican mangoes next.
Finally someone said Haiti; and did not say, the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Haiti does not allow GMO foods in the country. They are organic ❤ I prefer the small mangos.
Haiti is the richest country country in the Caribbean. Saying Haiti is the poorest country in the Caribbean is just the mainstream medias propaganda just to uproot people that love ❤️ Haiti. Haiti is the second richest country with iridium after South Africa. They have created Core group in Canada to destroy Haiti.

I’ve had a Baptiste from Tropical Acres before. I thought it was remarkable how the seed separated from the fruit. Like Alex said, it was so dry that the seed just dropped out of the fruit when it was cut open. I remember enjoying it very much.
Imam pasand is also the same , you can hear the seed bouncing inside it you shake it
But it is juicy inside
We’re glad you got to try it
I thought it reminded me of Valcarrie
Great job Paul and Alex😍
Paul can you interview Alex about Australian mangoes.
I know he doesn’t rate our KP mango highly his tastes are much different to Aussies. I don’t think he has some of our other varieties such as calypso and honey gold.
I have purchased the Corn Mango from Alex and even though it’s fibrous, I really loved eating it. Next would be the Madame Francis. For me it’s just okay. Don’t know the other ones.
Have you tried Baptiste? I was pleasantly surprised last year
@@jeffery8928No, not yet. Soon, I hope.
Har is a fan of Baptiste 🥭
@@greatergood3706❤
Please do a follow up video when they're ripen thanks
🌴💕🥭🏝
Would love to try these but I doubt I would be able to get in the UK
Sindhri Best Mango in pakistan
We grow Sindhri too
In the carribean i dont think there isnt a mango skin not edible because we dont spray. We eat the skin in the carribean commonly. In america we never eat the skin because of spray
They boil the leaves for medicinal purposes in Trinidad and Jamaica. I do not know about Haiti.
How can I get a grafting of madam blanc mango tree
Unfortunately, the USA banned mangoes from Haiti last year, 😢I was hoping that this year we could see them in the stores here in NY, but I haven't . I'm calling to many stores and they don't have it, one manager told me they will not get them this year either. 😭😭😭😭😭
I thought ataulfo/honey mangos were Haitian. And champagne mangos look like them. Maybe all of these are the labels used in the Metro DC area??? Anyone know?
Great video, Brother Paul.
Ataulfo is originally from Mexico. The Haitian variety most commonly exported from to the US is Madame Frances, which is typically larger than Ataulfo and more fibrous.
@@TropicalAcresFarms thank you!
@@TropicalAcresFarms and ataulfo is a seedling of carabao right?
@@kai_790 it’s not really known. Likely at least descended from Carabao but may not have been a seedling of it.
@@TropicalAcresFarms ah ok, thanks. have you done any videos on carabao?
Thank you for your good vlogs.why you not talk about Pakistani or sri lanky mangoes
we will get to the pakistani and other countries
Where is this farm located?. I would like to visit it.
Please a chance to the DR mango.
We are in West Palm Beach, FL and we will be open during mango season this summer
The mango "corn" you are referring to is really pronouced Kon and kon refers to sugar cane.
The country of Haiti is located on the island of Hispaniola
I thought the same thing when he said the island of Haiti, but I knew what he meant.
@@mikearlington6748 yeah, some people might not know is why I commented
Yes I realized what I said but see but put in the description they are from the Island of Hispaniola
The country of Haiti is not located on t😮he island of Hispaniola the island of Haiti is on the island of Ayiti or Hayti. Europeans don't get to erase peoples indigenous name and identity.
@@FruitfulTreesit's not the island of Hispaniola it's the island of Ayiti. It's real name not European disrespectful name of Hispaniola.
Yuck
why yuck? Is the mango not good?
Lol 😂 none of these sound good especially after all these new varieties like lemon meringue or sugar loaf coconut cream etc.
