Excited to share the newest pattern for the RTB101 doll, Cooler Weather. This pattern was designed in collaboration with the Virtual Doll Convention Club Grace subscription program.
Thank you for your FANTASTIC videos. Your instructions are so thorough and you toss in helpful hints that apply to all doll sewing, thus I watch all your videos for the helpful hints! You are GREAT!
Great video, so clear and concise! I actually have a pair of those duckbill scissors handed down to me and I had no idea what they were called or what they were used for, so thank you!
I have a pair of duckbill scissors as well and I believe the wide part (the duckbill) goes on the BOTTOM side of what you are cutting. That way it prevents you from cutting into the garment by mistake. The duckbill glides along underneath. At least, that's the way I learned.
Just in time for my new prescription glasses, lol! Don't want to attempt these gorgeous and beautifully detailed jeans with blurry vision. And the bodysuit is SO good! Another great pattern, thanks Tamara!
This is awesome, Tamara! I just love bodysuits, and the jeans are so cool! I just happen to have some denim chambray from an old jumper that will be perfect for making the jeans. Many thanks!
I have a similar Designs by Jude pattern for the Urban Vita doll. Watching this video is way better than the written instructions. Are patterns for RTB101 compatible with Urban Vita?

these are amazing…i have to try some version for barbie
Thank you. I hope your project goes great.
I spent one hour watching this tutorial. I just can imagine the coin pcket and belt loops for Barbie size!😂😂
The loops and coin pockets would be tiny in Barbie size.

I use to tell my mom I sewed by "feel". That seems more true now than ever. :)

I really love watching you see. What is your secret for sewing so close to the edge of the fabric? I see you don’t change your machine foot
I use a 1/4" sewing foot. Since I only sew doll clothes, it stays on my machine all the time.
Is this a suitable pattern for an 11-1/2" doll? I love the pattern and thank-you for the excellent tutorial. 😁♥️😊
This pattern is for a 16.5" fashion doll.
I have a similar Designs by Jude pattern for the Urban Vita doll. Watching this video is way better than the written instructions. Are patterns for RTB101 compatible with Urban Vita?
I'm glad the videos are helpful. The RTB101 body is not compatible with Urban Vita.
Really a GREAT outfit for the month! Can you share what size belt buckle you chose to use?
I cut a 1/4" strip of faux leather out of material I found in the felt section of Hobby Lobby.
I would have preferred to have actually seen you clip or trim into curved seams as I am a complete newbie with doing tiny doll clothes.
I will try to show those steps more clearly in future videos.
