In the 70s, we would embroidery out Bell Bottoms. Everyone talks about shiny disco clothes. I was there, I saw NO ONE dressed in Disco. he he Bell Bottoms dragging the ground. Your photos, as always, AMAZING!
That's so awesome! I love seeing customised clothes, I wore such weird stuff as a kid! And when they came back in the 90's all my flares were dragging on the ground too, they could suck up a puddle so fast... XD
Embroidery is so underrated in fashion besides in western clothes.

You made them your own. I love all the special attention you paid to the distressing, painting, and all your other special little details. Lots of hard work. You make it look so easy. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’m going to modify the pattern to fit 1/4 size dolls but was totally lost in the complex Jean sewing process. Thanks for showing how all the pieces fit together, now I can properly size them down 💜
You’re welcome! I have been meaning to try that for my Obitsu 50cm! I got as far as printing the pattern at 82% I think, but haven’t done a mock up yet! Hope it goes well for you! 🧵🪡😁

That’s fascinating to watch, never sew such complicated jean before, well… mine is 2 pcs join together 😂🤣😂. I will give this a go but will shrink it down to Barbie’s size. Thanks again for this wonderful tutorial.💕❤️
Heehee, yeah Its a pretty detailed pattern! Let me know how the shrunk down pattern works out! The proportions for Blythe are a bit shorter in the leg than barbie, otherwise I'd recommend my own jeans pattern! 😆

Love the ideas you shared to distress them. I’m getting ready to sew my first pair and was concerned that they would look too “shiny” if you will, so I’ll definitely be using some of your ideas to make them look more lived in.
I'm so glad the tips will be useful! Totally know what you mean, distressing/weathering these clothes makes a huge difference, gives the dolls more life! I hope you have fun making yours, I'm tempted to give 'stone washing' a try sometime too... I'll share if I do it! ^_^

Hi! I wasn’t planning to ☺️ The construction is exactly the same as the jeans, except you choose how short you want them to be, fold and cut the legs at that point (leaving seam allowance unless you want them all frayed). If there was a lot of demand for a shorts video I would consider it though 😆
Doesnt the button stain the doll's plastic? One part of the button is inside the pants
No it hasn’t left any marks at all. If you were worried about that though you could just put underwear on her, or sew the snap on so it’s not exposed on the inside 😊🪡🧵
