I love that he types like me - and yet manages to write so many books. No pretention at touch typing or looking at the screen and not the keyboard. I have been watching this video thinking that Lee reminds me of someone, and it has just dawned on me who it is. There is a passing resemblance 'twixt him and Peter Mandleson.

How tall is Lee Child (James Grant), he would make an awesome Reacher and I always connect Lee to Reacher, they are each other. I simply love these Reacher novels. I hope he never quits but continues with his brother Andrew to write them
Totally, he's like the physical oposite of Jack Reacher from those books! and for me, he's also kinda the reason why I'm not looking forward to watch it...
You know, I didn't see Cruise as Reacher, either...but then nobody wanted Craig for Bond, other for that matter, NOBODY (not even Fleming) wanted Connery for Bond. I'm beginning to think that the real reason people don't want Cruise is more about Cruise's off-screen antics than really his size. Look...either get past it and watch the movie, or don't, and keep reading the books. Truth is, there's NOTHING us fans can do about it.

Probably so. But it worked for him. And screenplays are even harder to write. Even Fitzgerald had a difficult time trying to become a screen writer
