I've been using Eheim Autorefill soundwave sensors for ATO and they are awesome! No cleaning needed at all as they glue themselves outside the aquarium.
@@aquascapeguide I even went the extra mile and bought myself a “switchbot”, taped it on top of the controller, so that I can activate manually the system when I am abroad
Quick question my I have this exact Ato on my 5 gallon reef and at night it brights my tank with the green light from the Ato is this dangerous for my fish ?
Not that I am aware of. I think the power supply is only rated at 12v, so you're limited. The real heavy pumps, like return pumps on a reef tank 24v+. I think you'd be limited by the power supply itself. Sorry I'm not more help.
Totally! I would highly suggest looking at either our 20 refill pack, or buying the bags of salt in bulk. Which would be 1lb bags for the N and K, and .5lb bag for the P and Micros. You need VERY little of those. That would probably give you enough refills for a year! The savings in this method is not the upfront cost of the kit, its in the ability to make your own refills ;) Each refill, which includes BOTH bottles, is around $1.75 when you buy in bulk. It's amazing!

Cool! I'll have to check one of those out

Dang, you went super fancy! Hahaha. Love it. The longer Im in this hobby, the lazier I get. Hahaha. Really appreciating automation ;)
❤ok I think I need some of these for my Blackwater tanks!! Genius!!
Im thinking you do as well ;P I have a Prizm on my 20g reef tank and this is WAY smarter. Its pretty high-tech for a ATO.
Very nice video. I am using it to top off my reef tank because it’s to annoying to top it off every other day.
Yeah! I move it to my reef tank as well ;) I like it better than the Prizm I had in there.
Is the MagTool one the same as FZone? Their packaging looks the same, only the branding differs.
Hey, so I learned today that the MagTool one is the same as the Fzone one. MagTools is Fzones saltwater brand.

No, you're fine. Its such a small little LED ;)
Cheers. Any idea if a stronger pump can be connected to this sensor?

That was quite helpful - thank you.
Do you know what you have in common with Uganda? They didn't manage to finally switch to the metric system either 😉
Right! lol. Its so much simpler than Imperial. I think if the US tried, society would crumble. HAHAHA.
Does it work for 110 gallon
