It's doesn't matter if I agree or not. The game is that diverse that everybody's list would look diffrent. Thank you for all the video's this year and Merry Christmas
Thank you for all the content this year, especially the help on the foxhunts! I'm looking forward to more InnerPrincess VR in 2025 - Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
First,I thank you for your videos and Merry Christmas. I love your reviews and have bought the courses based on your reviews. I’m 81 and play every day. Tethys station, sweetopia and bogey’s bonanza are definitely a 7.5. My favorites are Wallace & gromit, widow’s walkabout and alfheim which I would rate a 10. I agree with your ratings on the rest of them. The only one I don’t have is upside town. Look forward to more of your reviews as courses are added.
It's so cool how everyone likes different things. My list would be completely different to yours and that's really nice I think. Love this game so much. It's my favorite VR game of all time.
This really is the killer app for VR. I'd like to see more behemoth courses. Shrinking us down for the holidays was really cool. A Jurassic Park level would be fantastic. Wallace and Gromit really nailed the theme park ride esthetic which I'd also like to see more of. Since every level is "open world" they have limitations for the number of polygons they can use and still have it be playable on all the supported devices. They really have an opportunity to be the Funko of VR by digging into older properties for licensed courses to build up their platform before getting in on more contemporary licenses like Harry Potter, Marvel, etc.
I’ve been thinking if they wanted a dinosaur-themed course without paying for the Jurassic Park ip, they could make a course based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World, with the dinosaurs living on a plateau in the Amazon. You could get some sweeping vistas combined with dino-themed courses.
Another award winning video! Amazingly well done as usual! It's hard to agree or disagree because they are all so unique in one way or another! The one thing I would add is that whether I want to play a particular course or not on any given day really depends on my mood! Sometimes I want to be challenged or I am in the mood for a very particular theme. Some have grown on me (Arizona Modern) while some I rarely play (Upside Town). Thanks for all the great videos this year and have Merry Christmas!!
Yup! That's the ceiling still. I have literally put on my headset just to go there and sit and listen to the music and watch the scenery. It's absolutely beautiful.
All of the Walkabout courses are fantastic. I'm always surprised how many people don't like Ice Lair, as it is one of my favorites. The unpredictability of the ice cubes creates the kind of chaos that is great fun when playing against someone that is close to your own skill level. Honestly though, there is not a single course they have ever made that I don't love. Hands down my favorite VR game. At least 50% of my time in VR is spent in Walkabout Mini Golf. Keep up the great reviews of this game!
Meow Wolf, Journey to the center of the earth, Eldorado on hard, Atlantis, 8 bit lair (the back 9), around the world in 80 days, Labrinth, Temple at Zerzera (the back 9), and now the holiday course are some of my favorites.
Mars Gardens is imo absolutely the best course they've done for the actual playability. Where Alfheim (which I'd give about a 5/10) falls short of delivering satisfying curved mechanics for me, MG shines through. I wanted to like 8-bit more than I did. But yeah, it's been an amazing year of new courses!
Great list. Your top ten are a perfect picks. I do however get a bit overwhelmed in the more darker mood courses which prohibits me from playing them more than once.
My friends and I all just got Meta Quests and planned on playing shooters together, but downloaded Walkabout and haven’t played another game since. Everyone should experience this game, it will sell them on VR immediately.
I feel like Walkabout courses need two different ratings to be considered: Experience (including art/aesthetic, lost balls, and fox hunt design/writing) and Golf (including hole design and mechanics). Some courses have great mini golf, regardless of the theme and aesthetic appeal. Other courses would be fun to ‘visit’ and hunt for balls/clues, even if there was no golf course. The best courses do both things excellently.
I really love them all! I pretty much stink at golf, but I don’t care. I just love exploring the courses. They are great! Love listening to you! I can never find all the balls or solve the clues so you help me a lot! I can’t figure out why I can’t see my avatar head ever? I only see my hands? Why? Is it because I never play with anyone else or what? I guess I’m just too old to figure it out! I’m sure there is a simple answer!
It’s not about the skill, it’s all about the enjoyment, so if you’ve got that, you’re doing it right! If you want to see your own avatar, hit the replay button (B if you’re on Quest) and you’ll see your avatar playing your most recent shot
Have to read into the comments to make a decision on the next courses to purchase. Giving Arizona Modern and Alfheim higher scores than some others leads me to look for someone else with similar taste as mine to choose the next course.. Holiday is among the top picks of mine for newer courses.
I much prefer Ice Lair to 8 bit Lair. Not a fan at all. Beat all round course of the year is Mars Gardens. Just such a nice clam place to be. Runner up is 80 days. Can't wait for 2025 courses!
If a couple of the holes had more accessible hole in one routes I’d be there with you on that one, I like the chance to get a few in a round. Lovely course though
I like your list but I would move meow wolf down to 8 and move widows walkabout up to a 9. Arizona modern my least favorite course to play. An idea of a good video would be to talk about the hidden tricks in each course like where all the skeletons bodies are and where the hidden gold is located.
Personal opinions on new courses Around the World in 80 Days: 8 Really, really enjoyed this on first play through but I really just haven’t found myself replaying this course as there are a lot that are better options. Ice Lair: 10 my new 2nd favorite course in the game and my favorite from this year, everything about it just works so well for me and there are just so many little details that make it fun and feel fresh when replaying. Venice: 7 Venice is not just not for me, I felt that part of what makes walkabout so fun was lost in this course, it doesn’t really feel like something I could only experience in vr, and I don’t like the actual holes either. Wallace and Gromit: 9 Super fun course with so much stuff in it. I really enjoyed the holes and the decoration and theming feel so alive, some of the holes were a bit annoying but overall great course. Mara Gardens: 7.5 Looking at this course originally I thought I would really like it but there’s so much missing for me, The course felt pretty much the same the entire time and there was a lot more things I feel should’ve been done with it. 8 bit lair: 9.5 Super cool course and one of my favorite first play through of any course, theming is great, the mechanics work in a really fun way, and I just really like the details in the course. Holiday Hideaway: 8.5-10 This is the only course I don’t really have concrete opinion on, it’s really cool and super fun but I haven’t had enough time to actually figure out where it ranks, I like it at least more than Around the World in 80 Days and less than Ice Lair.
Is it possible to buy all of the DLC courses in one place, and a better price than individually? I saw the "whole in one" pack but it doesn't seem to be available.
I try to consider both and rate as a combined, but if one has a 10/10 course for easy OR hard but not both, I’d probably still class it as a 10, because a course that good wouldn’t need a alternative version, if that makes sense
Strongly disagree with holiday and 8 bit. Ive played them to get the ball and putter but haven't played since. If 8 bit was like the last 5 holes it would be different. But I'll always support wmg and the channel. Merry Christmas and thank you for yhe content
Holiday, 80 Days and Venice are my favorites of the year. 8-Bit is a fun environment, and there is more than a little bit of commentary on the modern game development industry in it, but the holes didn’t really grab me. Mars is fine. Ice Liar is the only one I didn’t really care for. Didn’t like the frozen ball mechanics, and I found the puffins oddly disturbing in the way they follow you around.
For me, it didn't seem like a mini golf course at all, more like a video game. I've played all the original and DLC courses and this is my least favorite of them all. Fortunately WMG has a lot of other amazing courses to choose from.
8 Bit Lair is the only one that doesn’t do it for me. It gets too far away from the basic mechanics playing mini golf and is just ultra cheesy in a bad way.
It's doesn't matter if I agree or not. The game is that diverse that everybody's list would look diffrent.
Thank you for all the video's this year and Merry Christmas

Great video and solid rankings. My favorite of the year is the 8-bit Lair but I have not been able to play the holiday release yet.
You are God tier at these videos. Thank you for making them! Happy Christmas
Quixote valley the goat, man that music 😄

Happy Holidays Princess! always a pleasure to see your vid or seing you in the game from time to time.
I'm glad you re ranked 20,000 leagues! My 3 rank 10 are 20,000 leagues, 8 bit lair and Holiday Hideaway
Meow Wolf, Journey to the center of the earth, Eldorado on hard, Atlantis, 8 bit lair (the back 9), around the world in 80 days, Labrinth, Temple at Zerzera (the back 9), and now the holiday course are some of my favorites.

But yeah, it's been an amazing year of new courses!
I never really enjoyed playing Alfheim. It is beautiful at night, but that's about it.
The new Holiday course is my favorite. Putting (no pun intended) you at toy level….genius!
THANK YOU!!!
My pleasure 😊

Happy Holidays!!🎉
Venice is one of my favorites. I wish there were more real world environment themed courses.
I personally think we will get more "Passport" courses like Venice in 2025, at least I am hoping for it
8-Bit Lair is a definite 10! Bang on with the rest
If a couple of the holes had more accessible hole in one routes I’d be there with you on that one, I like the chance to get a few in a round. Lovely course though

The holiday course deserves a 10/10

we play every night. awesome game
When you rank these courses are you considering both easy and hard, or mostly just easy?
I try to consider both and rate as a combined, but if one has a 10/10 course for easy OR hard but not both, I’d probably still class it as a 10, because a course that good wouldn’t need a alternative version, if that makes sense

If you had to pick a top one from those 3, which would you go for?
Solid list, I disagree with 8 Bit Lair, it should be at 7.5. To many luck based scenarios and to repetitive.
You can’t be serious… it’s charming and the atmosphere is fantastic
😂
With the side EE in the arcade alone and the storyline/foxhunt it combines to A tier in my eyes
