I wish more people were willing to reflect on life in this capacity and search for meaning with the level of enthusiasm and curiosity that Susan displays here.

I am only 1/2 way through the book and yet I could not wait to visually 'see' her way of thinking/flowing and finding/evolving the transcendence/craft of her words. In her own unique style of building on these key foundational beautiful/greater concepts of what it means: To be alive/human or woman/person or introvert/extrovert & interweave in paradigms of thriving/surviving/coping nature/nurture or race/identity. Before this I had read "Hood Feminism" and felt just the same then about that author a Mikki Kendall. It brings such joy/bliss/peace to see us only begin to ask these deeper enlightening questions of life/grief. As well as their individual storytelling by the sharing/ushering in of our collective power struggles & to be able to feel the motivational energy of these multifaceted female leaders as they tune/dial our awareness-knobs into these varying levels of volumes/personalities/inspirations.
    TY,
    🪬 💯 🤲 🙏💙

Susan inspired me just with this 16 minute interview, I didn't know about her before, I love how she's passionate about trying to figure out the right philosophy and understand of life, how she took some of the dark moments of her life as a headstart to learning even more about the existence of the human being.

I first watched her ted talk ...the power of introverts" and from her talk i realised how she was raised by her family ...and how proud she was of her family's bringing up...i can feel her pain of her fathers and brothers death...i feel so sorry for her . :(

Sorrow and joy both have emotional power or value. Sadness or grief can be extremely motivational for positive change. (Get so upset or moved to make changes necessary or not make the same mistake."I'll never do that again." ) The same with joy. Experiencing that state of mind is overwhelming and we learn to strive for that emotion. You can either become bitter or positive. The choice is yours to make with your choices in life are where you end up... Better make it a good one. ✌ I guess that's is very stoic. 😎

Total Freedom from emotions doesn't take time. It had nothing whatsoever to do with time, effort, or choice. It occurred faster than the speed of light.
The children are ready to be set Totally Free at the earliest age so they don't waste their entire lives with any mental afflictions.

There is bitter and sweet, but they don't usually mix. They are mostly forgotten amongst the love and hate, ecstasy and suffering, underpinned always with deep mystery that almost no one puts voice to but everyone feels.

Not everyone can demonstrate the ability of an empath. Narsacists, egotistical, sociopaths, and psychopaths have a common thread coursing through their psyche. These personality disorders have a propensity for domination. Hence the idiom that the brain is the best defence over brawn. I advise anyone who works in a toxic environment is get to know the players for the players' sake. Promoting someone whose goals are oriented to serve a single actor.

What Susan Cain said is a biblical truth. Romans 8:16 and 17 says, "The Spirit of Christ bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we SUFFER WITH HIM in order that we may also be GLORIFIED WITH HIM." So suffering in this way produces glory and this glory is associated with joy: "joy unspeakable and full of glory," I Peter 1:8.
