People gonna be but hurt when they realize they are not burning 1000 calories in an hour doing cardio like their machines tell them. Will burning 300 cals while running takes him 24 min and Will is clearly in shape. I actually have a calorie burning tracker on my website to tell people how many calories they are actually likely to burn during cardio based on their fitness level.
Great ending in terms of not development body dysmorphia. It’s hard as so many people are unhappy with their appearance. Even Will himself who clearly looks wildly amazing still mentions how he gained fat and lost muscle while travelling when the rest of us see a very impressive physique that I literally thought looked like he was in fact making quality gains. It really can be a mental struggle so please dont compare your body to anyone else but yourself.

The video quality is beautiful, and he is clearly much happier, more health conscious, and wiser/ happier mentally. He’s clearly doing many things he’s constantly restricted himself with in the past, moving past the walls he’d built for himself by now just going with what feels better to him: the eggs, avocados, mushrooms, even the garlic powder. Clearly becoming more conscious as a human. Well Done Will You have my respect🙏

I've been meditating every morning, changed around my diet a bit to better serve my energy levels, trying to fit training and cardio in around a busy work schedule etc. Yes, i do feel improvement in some areas, but my mental health has actually declined. I'd made all these changes and that came with expectations. And it wasn't a lack of improvement that made me worse, it was having expectations to begin with. I feel you on trying to move away from the artificial sweeteners and volume hacks. As much as they’ve helped me with my progress, I feel they also just reinforce my fat kid binge eating tendencies that got me to the point where I needed to diet. Whole foods while they may not give you that dopamine rush still taste amazing and make you feel better about what you’re ingesting because it’s something you can grow (legally lmao).

Sweeteners are both a godsent and a curse, for it's so easy to get addicted to the sweet taste. Also volume eating should come naturally with a balanced diet, exaggerating it just so you can stuff your face without guilt is not healthy either.

If you prefer it uncooked try blending the oats into oat flour for better liquid absorption.

I love when will shows his diet because there is always something I can eat or try. Will got me to eat grapefruit which is rare for me as I have sickle cell and if I get a crisis I can't eat it as grapefruit and motrin don't mix and I never really like grapefruit until that baked grapefruit and cinnamon recipe he did

I lost 23 kilo grams (unhealthy way) and i became more insecure and extremely unhappy.
i’m on a self love/ acceptance journey and i’m gaining weight but at least i’m not starving myself anymore.
I’m still working out and eating much healthier food I just hope at some point i stop gaining weight!

thank you for showing that it's okay to eat whole eggs, its been one of my fear foods for so long probably due to the lowkey demonization of eggs these days and i've always felt so guilty eating them to the extent where I can only have either half a boiled egg or no yolk at all ;; even though the yolk is the tastiest part. this may sound dumb but ill try my best to eat an entire egg tomorrow!!

I’ve always eaten the whole egg because my parents have. Honestly the yolk is the best tasting part and while most of the protein is in the white, a lot of the other nutrients are in the yolk. This is a case of people being way too focused one thing (protein and calories) and not looking at the overall health benefits of eating the yolk. I’ll take the extra calories

Just a hint for watermelons: You don't need to knock or some of that useless stuff that people usually do when buying some. First you need to check out if there are some pale zones on it cause this indicates that the melon got enough sunlight. This is most important. 2nd you can check if there are some very small like brown spots cause these are coming from bees. Both sunlight and bees are what determines the final taste.

Regarding the last part, I've been on a weight loss journey seriously for about a year. Everyday when I look in the mirror I still hate what I see, I still hate to see my big stomach, I still hate how much weight I have, but then there are moments where I'll see some picture of me recent and almost not recgonize myself, or starting to see my biceps actually coming through, fiting into clothes I didn't fit anymore, and that feels amazing, but it doesn't make the other part go away. That just shows how hard we can be on ourselves. As much as it motivates me, it still destroys me. I still can't believe sometimes that my wife finds me attractive, all that stuff. Seeing someone as fit as Will going through the same thing is kinda uplifting in a way. I hate that he feels that, but it shows me that I can get where I'm at despite how I look at myself. I get we are all different, but I love how inspiring Will is. He never shows his fitness life as perfect, and shows what he struggles and motivates me a lot. It's amazing and never get more inspired than when watching one of your videos. Love you Will.

Thank-you for addressing body dysmorphia. I've been in active recovery from a severe eating disorder (20 years) for 13 weeks. I've gained a pound a week, from 65 pounds to 78 pounds by strength training (weights) and increasing my calories weekly (from 1200/day to 2200/day) ... I always said I never had body dysmorphia, but now that I'm gaining consistent weight I know I was wrong. When I look at myself in the mirror I feel like I've make huge progress and I'm getting so much bigger, but when I look at my progress pics I can see how extremely thin I still am and what a way I still have to go! I challenge people to keep track of your progress by taking photos and get a second opinion from a trainer or friend as to how you are progressing. No matter what your fitness goal is, work hard, eat what your body needs, and get enough rest!

Happiness truly does come from within, and something I’m learning slowly is to really just do whatever you want to do and give 100% effort in everything not to impress anybody, but to only impress yourself and truly be at ease w yourself knowing you did the most that your capable of! Anyways love the vids and especially those sincere talks you have about serious topics, much love Will 🤙🏽

BUT..I was so hyper focused on every little imperfection and actually had my kids tell me I had less self doubt when I was overweight! I lost my weight with no surgery, did it au naturale, but was extremely “carbo-phobic” with a side of orthorexia. It's like "soy yogurt" and will "harden/stiffen/thicken" overnight (no pun intended :) I'll usually blend the silken tofu with some frozen or fresh berries....it's sooooooo good blended with fruit. Great video Will! To all the people watching, I highly recommend a form of the current diet Will is following, I’m currently eating exactly like this however watching the FODMAP a bit better to cope with stomach aches/IBS. Nearly everything Will eats in this video (minus the oats/garlic(unfortunately) for me personally) is some sort of thing I could eat as well and everything is easily digestible so if you need more calories you could just up the volume without any trouble on your digestion system. I highly recommend a diet like this (doesn’t have to be low FODMAP or a powerlifters variant like the vertical diet) it helped me able to go outside again and did improve my overal well being, skin, routine/sleep and I feel more energized. Things do get better everyone :)

Thanks Will. It is difficult enough reducing your calories to a deficit without drinking them. The best diet advice on the internet. I like the idea of reducing artificial sweeteners too and after watching this video I have been having 2 whole scrambled eggs for breakfast instead of egg whites and it has helped me loose weight even more due me being more satiated and satified filling me up in the morning more than just egg whites did.
