@@thelegendarybovice Dimebag doesn't hold a candle to people like Paul Gilbert and Shawn Lane. He's good, but he is posthumously overrated for being part of Pantera.
How was there no feel in his solo? You guys need to stop this nonsense. I can't read it anymore. Please define feel. What is feel in someone's playing? How can you play without feel when what you're playing expresses your emotions? What you're talking about is "I don't like his playing style" and that's literally it. He plays with feel just like others because he feels what he plays. I see ppl throw that at any guitarist. Even Steve Vai has no feel according to ppl like you.
Maurizio I would have to disagree with some of this statement. Chris is a monster player absolutely but less feeling is quite incorrect. On Endgame Chris’s solos have lots of feeling in them. Very technical with feeling. When Chris covers a solo especially Martys are precise to the bone! Thats what I always loved about him in Megadeth. Alot of players besides Marty and Chris cant or dont play Martys solos as they should be played! If you a musician is going to cover a legendary solo putting your own flare on it isnt needed or welcomed.
By the time Marty started performing this live, he was already playing it relaxed. Chris was brought in to replicate the album, and it shows that of the other 3 he really did his homework here.
Marty knew what he was doing back in 1994, and that is, he was not gonna be a life long member in Megadeth but knew someone was gonna come behind him and have to learn all his complicated fast solos......and he did a good job of making these guys have to earn their money every night trying to keep his solos as genuine as possible. Good job Marty! Im sure Dave cringes everynight when his new hot shot guitar player cant keep up the chops and blows the song when he turns Martys solos into an abortion clinic.
@@jessejames0957 Are you kidding me!?!? Remember Dave just fired Dave Ellefson their life long bass player since the first album for sending adult content clips to some chic he met on the road.......so Dave notices everything including guitar solos fuck ups

Nice video, thanks! Beautiful solo - tremendously difficult to learn with Marty's wild note selection. It's insane how Chris Broderick can play this solo at increased tempo without even looking at the fretboard!! That crowd looks WILD on Kiko's performance, where was that?
There is no best, they are all fantastic guitarists. However this solo belongs to Marty, who is my favorite Megadeth guitarist. He has a very individual style. I would like to add that due to the way he holds his right hand, during his solos (use headphones) you can hear that sometimes the strings are not properly muted. You can hear it clearly from ~ 0:29 and later. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic guitarist but you shouldn't learn how to hold your right hand from him. :)
All I will say is it's another reminder that it's ok I can't play it exactly the way it is on the record and I just need to be happy with the progress I've made learning it 🤣
Kiko playes the on of the solo just like Slash plays Sweet Child o Mine solo at one point. In the album its not played like that but when I turn the speed down Kiko plays it note for note like Slash´s solo.
Kiko played last and in my opinion deserves to be placed last cause he botched Marty's solo and should know that shit as if it were his own! Sorry Kiko, Im sure by now you have this down pat but not in this clip.
Marty will be Marty, enough said. Glenn Drover and Kiko really sucked. It wasn't that solo they were playing. Only Chris Broderick played it note by note.
I actually liked Drovers attempt. Sure it was sloppy, but at least it didn't sound like a carbon copy, exact replica like Brodericks. I get that he's an amazing player, but somehow, Broderick manages to make awesome solos sound boring.
Marty’s solo; Broderick didn’t bring anything special to Nevermore or Megadeth he’s too mechanical and Kiko wants too much to be a showman; Drover is a great player but he’s a fusion/metal player however his solo album Metalusion is awesome and showcases what a virtuoso he really is.
Marty: *plays it like he wrote it*
Glenn: *plays it tight*
Chris: *plays it perfect*
Kiko: *plays it confident*
Dave: *headbangs*
Perfect description
Marty number 1, he’s without any doubt one of the best metal lead guitarists to walk the face of the earth
Maybe if he changed his name to Dimebag Darrell
@@thelegendarybovice Dimebag doesn't hold a candle to people like Paul Gilbert and Shawn Lane. He's good, but he is posthumously overrated for being part of Pantera.
@@thelegendaryboviceStop embarrassing yourself. Listen to Cacophony and tell me that Darrell was better than Friedman...
Totally agree...
I have to say number 2. After his master and brother Jason Becker
Marty will always be one of my favorite lead guitar players.. but Chris plays it perfectly live
I must say i'm stunned by the precision of Chris. He plays it more precisely than Marty who actually made it
yes but it sounds soulless
@failedconnection1059 chris just made it sound like midi

Chris Broderick!!!! Enough said!
Had that exact same thought.
The way Marty plays the guitar is art.

Marty Friedman and Chris Broderick
Chris is so spot on, it's almost too perfect!
Chris is a machine! Maybe less "feeling" but he's a real monster.

Marty and chris broderick
Damn, Chris nailed. Awesome guitar player
No one talking about the guy in the Metallica shirt at 1:51 🤣
lol
Metallica played at this concert too....with Megadeth , Anthrax and Slayer
I noticed it 🤣
subscribed based on this video alone - my vote is for Marty- he has that controlled flair
By the time Marty started performing this live, he was already playing it relaxed. Chris was brought in to replicate the album, and it shows that of the other 3 he really did his homework here.
Chris is such a beast. Well done
No doubt...Marty is the number one.. 👍
Wow the one solo that Chris did INCREDIBLE
Yeah but 0 feelings on bends and vibratos... To me Marty is on a league of his own
Marty FOR SURE !!!! 🤘🏻
I'd hafta say Marty Friedman .He is amazing
Without a doubt, Marty wins it. No comparison!
Chris played the most clean version👍
Marty of course! It's his solo.
Chill out bro i know he did t give his all for the solo but i know for sure dave doesnt think that about him

Choris is an animal is a beast with the guitar and improved some rifs on several of the band's songs, for my chris the best!
All of them rocks! 😂🤟
Chris, no doubt!
Chris Broderick play perfect
Marty!! ...🤘😤

Marty is miles ahead, it’s the blood of the chosen people

Broderick played the cleanest no doubt about it
Marty Friedman no. 1

Marty is one of the created the solo, but Chris broderick is the perfect player and right in the part,
Marty did the best job performing his own solo. Kiko is my favorite Megadeth guitarist post Marty. Kiko is excellent.
Not the biggest fan of Broderick but damn he plays that solo well
Chris matou a pau todos eles depois do criador do solo...
Marty takes the cake, kiko for sure coming in second
Marty's tone
Kiko playes the on of the solo just like Slash plays Sweet Child o Mine solo at one point. In the album its not played like that but when I turn the speed down Kiko plays it note for note like Slash´s solo.
Marty because he wrote it, others are great players but don't play it with total accuracy.
Marty! I like Kiko as well.
Marty kills it! Others ok. Just before solo comparison, should make Dave vocal change comparison.
marty 1000000%
@1:50 why?
after friedman is Chris
Chris Broderick!!!!
Kiko played last and in my opinion deserves to be placed last cause he botched Marty's solo and should know that shit as if it were his own! Sorry Kiko, Im sure by now you have this down pat but not in this clip.
Kiko is a good guitarist...but this clip is surely not one of his best moment.
I saw them in August 2021 in TX and he played it flawlessly. This clip? Not so much. 😂
Not his best moment for sure..
Only Marty can play better than Marty!
where is al pitrelli.
Marty's performance is iconic man... But I think Kiko had better performances than this one, he would be the greatest competitor
This guitar solo written by Marty, so what then is the meaning of this comparison ?
Chris actually really crushed this solo! Maybe even better than Marty 😮
Marty wrote it so no real comparison 🤧

1) Marty Friedman
2) France

whyd you post this version of kiko lol he's played it flawlessly many times, this just happened to be the one where it wasnt perfect
many mistakes in this version
M Friedman

Boderick is perfect and more is not his trick is Marty Trick A+
Kiki surprised for bad… 😢
Sintió muy suave el solo de kiko 😮
None of them got the right feel the way marty plays it.
Martin y brode
Everyone would probably fare better if Dave didn’t insist on playing the song so damn fast, lol
Marty wins, Broderic plays it perfectly, but Marty's guitar tone is far better.
Kiko Loureiro
el mejor es kiko :3
Marty cannot be touched!
Omg Kiko was sloppy. I understand, because I can’t do better. But Chris Broderick won this round.
Good: Chris.
Bad: Kiko.
Best: Marty.
Blimey, Kiko's was awful
1) Marty Friedman 2) Chris Broderick... And the rest is meh 😴😴
Glenn plays it like shit.
