    That stand is absolutely brilliant. I may add some of what you have done to our portable studio. Thanks for posting.

    Excellent, was hoping I could just buy the screen and PVC the rest. Awesome that the screen has metal stabilizing rods inserted to prevent creases etc

    How do we secure the round corners with the greenscreen's built in velcro?

    Hi
    I want to make one of these, just ordered the black background, did you ever make a list of the tube sizes to make it easier for us to make one? In the comments you said you was going to but i cannot see it anywhere,
    thanks

    Hi,
    Great Idea. I just bought the screen, but now I'm lost about the size of the central frame and the size of the other two. Could you please infom what's the height and how large they are?
    Thanks

    Where did you get all of the PVC Tees, Elbows and the Piping for $25? The cheapest I can find right now to build the whole thing from PVC would cost $204. That is 100ft of PVC, 12 Elbows, 8 Tees and the pvc cleaner and glue... Please share where you got it for so cheap.

    I'm having major problems identifying the backdrop in this video. There are many out there but few explicitly show/indicate there are those bars in the edges of the backdrop. Can anyono help?

    If you still have it and you have a moment to measure the tube lengths, would be great, otherwise no worries!

    Really nice, I had the same idea, but I couldn’t find those PVC-pipes somewhere. Where did you buy them, and could you please upload another video or even some photos, that only shows the framework without the chromakey screen?

    That's very cool. I'd love to do this myself. Would you be willing to share the parts list and how you joined the left and right frame sections to the center one? Did the clips for the fabric come with it or did you buy them separately? Thanks.

    • @EmeraldCoastTV
      @EmeraldCoastTV  9 років тому +2

      +Michael Delman First, the clips for the fabric is part of the purchased background cloth. Second, the size of the PVC piping and connectors used was 3/4" Schedule 40. I will get the final length measurement for each piece later. And as for connecting the left and right frames to the center frame, I'm currently using some small 6" bungee cords with hooks on both ends to temporarily bind the frames together.

    I'm having a huge problem. I'm a Drummer. And I'm looking for some kinda Chromakey Green Carpet that won't slide. Is that strong enough to set on top of a carpet the floor?

    • @EmeraldCoastTV
      @EmeraldCoastTV  7 років тому

      No, it's not designed for that. You're better off with a plastic mat such as this: www.goelectronic.com/DATAVIDEO%20MAT-0620.html?source=googleps&gclid=Cj0KEQjwgODIBRCEqfv60eq65ogBEiQA0ZC5-aIoHqiPtOegQvRf6yHIPb0hfQgXyq4cGtGliwmlh98aAsdK8P8HAQ

      Dude you can see it clearly its pvc tubes with some tees , elbows and a clip-based green screen cloth.

      I have to agree with M. This is NOT followable when you have to guess all the dimensions. This dude just enjoys bragging. Anyone that says, it’s just pvc, shut up. You need to know how much to buy and then the size to cut them to make the shape

    • @dudleydooright
      @dudleydooright 6 років тому +4

      @@billyzwiener1380 What's wrong with you? It's freaking PVC and he says it's 7.5 tall. Buy 3/4" pvc, cut it 7' tall, cut your other pvc to the width you want (order your green screen first if you need to) and add some freaking elbows. Bungee the 3 parts together. That's it! This thing could not be easier to figure out. Anyone with an IQ over 80 should be able to pull it off.

    • @billyzwiener1380

      Dudley DooRight hi Dudley, looks like you’re angry. I did buy the parts. Those screens stretch and it curves. This means it’s not a square. This means if you lay it flat and measure a square it’s not gonna pull it tight when it curves. There’s no way to easily figure it out even when you have the screen. It takes trial and error. If you tried it you’d find that out and wish a few dimensions posted could’ve saved you some time. I did make measurements to allow for the stretch/curve and filmed a video to actually help people that has the measurements. You’d be surprised if you did it that it’s NOT simply making it 7 feet. You would also be surprised at the waste and extra effort to buy extra or come up short that a few measurements posted could eliminate. I was never saying the construction was difficult. I was saying that measurements would be helpful... and they WOULD be helpful. If you think they’re straightforward without trial and error with the screen then go ahead and post the measurements you think work. Haha. Because I guarantee they’ll be off. Now, if there were measurements posted you’d have a simple task. Think I’m wrong? Build one ;) tell me if it came out right with no compensation for stretch or curve ;) Are you aware of the elasticity of the hooks on the screen and how much stretch they give? Are you aware of how much the screen actually stretches to pull tight and make an optimum sheet? Do you know how far from the screen the frame sits when the frame curves? Because where it’s flat it will match the pvc measurement but where the curves happen it comes off the screen almost a foot. :) again, not terribly hard to figure out when you have all the pieces laid out but come on, give everyone the measurements and save all that nonsense of trial and error.
