I’ve been cracking my head on whick to choose between a CIS and IT. I have a 💯% tuition coverage scholarship to study any degree of my choice in Arizona State University. Since it’s free I really wanna maximize the opportunity. After watching this video and other videos as well, and everyone keeps saying CIS is better with good explanation. I’m finally going for CIS. Thanks 🙏🏽

What I mean by this is if you pick CS , you can branch out into a lot and you are basically secured for the future. But me personally don’t like coding that much so I want to pick CIS, but my sibling(in college) says that it doesn’t branch out a lot as it is limited so she wants me to pick another one. I would say it depends on how technical the courses are for either degree and your long term goals. If you are dead center on going into Tech then make sure either degree is technical. My local college has a crappy CS program that focuses more on theory and math. That would be a useless program for those wanting to work in a technical role. The college I go to has a better CS/CIS programs as they are geared more for technical related jobs (which are most employable).
