    I’m doing my Masters in Information Systems at Regis University in Denver. Man it has been kicking my ass but it’s so rewarding. I’ve been passing all my classes and it’s well worth the struggle. I thought MIS majors would mostly be dealing with the business side of a company. Is it possible to have a role in a company that only deals with money and less with coding with an MIS degree??

    • @ElevateToTheUnknown
      @ElevateToTheUnknown  4 місяці тому +1

      Absolutely! With an MIS degree, you can definitely find roles that focus more on the financial and business aspects of a company, such as business analyst, financial analyst, or systems manager, where the emphasis is more on strategic decision-making and less on coding. Many MIS graduates pursue careers that bridge the gap between IT and business, allowing for a wide range of opportunities beyond technical coding roles.

      Yes, an MIS degree can definitely support your goal of becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP). It provides a strong foundation in managing information systems, which is valuable in project management. Since you already work in healthcare, combining that experience with an MIS degree will make you well-rounded and competitive in the field. Starting your Master's in 2025 sounds like a solid plan!
