    Your quite articulate and down to earth. It's hard to find videos that explain things so clearly, it gives me hope to do well even though I wasted 3 years of my life after high school. You get my sub sir, you deserve it.

    congrats!
    question did you have public speaking/speech classes or group projects in any classes?
    i have terrible anxiety and im researching how i can survive college by not having to talk to or in front of many people besides my professors. at least for now until i find better solutions to my problems.

    • @WutUpJut
      @WutUpJut  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you!! 😊
      I did not take a direct public speaking course (though this would be up to the specific college to determine if it is required), but for any of my courses that did include public speaking I never had any sort of live presentation. For example, in English 2 I did a recorded video presentation on a topic and was expected to upload my PowerPoint slides, speaking notes and recorded video.
      As for group projects, I’ve only encountered this maybe twice in my entire college experience. My biggest recollection of this would be during my Hardware & Software course, where we were put into groups and had to work together to create an “IT Toolkit.” My group had decided we would only communicate through email and/or public discussion forums. Never once did we meet in any other fashion.
      I hope this is some consolation! I absolutely understand the fear, especially when you’re already stepping into something new!! You should always be able to request a syllabus ahead of taking a course, so if you see a program you like and notice there may be public speaking/group work attached to it- reach out and try to get the course outline. This should give you a clearer idea on what you may be required to do.
      Stay well!! 😊✨

    Hi, I'm graduating from college in December and I'm having a hard time finding internships, what was your experience applying for internships with an associate's degree and do you have any tips? ty

    • @WutUpJut
      @WutUpJut  3 роки тому +4

      Hey!! Congrats on graduating, that’s extremely exciting!!
      My recommendation to find internships is check through your current college and see if they have any available opportunities. Otherwise, looking online and locally are second best! Don’t be afraid to reach out to companies (even if they do not have anything listed!).
      Make sure you have a strong resume, and representation of your skills as well!:)
      Finally, don’t limit yourself just to internships. Doesn’t hurt to start applying for legitimate positions, especially if you have projects to show for!
      Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions, truly do not hesitate:)
      Stay healthy, safe and happy! ✨

  • @efazertesum2690
    @efazertesum2690 3 роки тому +2

    Great, Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉
    I have a few questions for you if you are open to answer
    1) Are you able to get a permanent job now ?If yes, then which are those jobs ?
    2) How much you can get paid now per hour ? Approximately
    I will also do CS in A community college so if you ans It will be great for meh

    • @WutUpJut
      @WutUpJut  3 роки тому

      Hey!! Thank you so much 😊 That’s no problem at all!
      1) I am eligible for a job, but currently have not been able to land one. Often applicants with higher degrees WILL still get hired first, however a way to combat this is by having great projects for companies to see!!
      2) I have had internships that paid above minimum wage and never have nearly walked into a job that didn’t pay less than livable!
      That sounds terrific!! Do lots of research on the community college’s CS program and make sure it will be a good fit. Keep in mind, if this is a regular associates in computer science, it may be even harder to get a job right after completion. My CIS degree was almost like a program degree, with no intention to transfer (I just decided to do that on my own!). Having a regular CS A.S. often means you won’t get to tackle many of the courses that employers deem to be important.
      Hope this helps! I’m definitely no expert, just trying to give my best insight and advice ✨😊 Stay Well!!!! (P.S. Nice profile picture!!! Love Vocaloid!)

    How many credits did you have to make up for the college transfer? I’m doing the same major but I’m not sure if I should go to four year or not

    • @WutUpJut
      @WutUpJut  2 роки тому

      I had a full 66 credits that were transferred into my bachelors 😊 Didn’t lose a single one! This definitely depends on the college though and what course equivalencies they may see when assessing your credits. Hope this helps!!

    Bro, I didn't have Calculus and Physics in high school.
    Can I get this degree?
    will they teach me physics and calculus from basic?

    • @WutUpJut
      @WutUpJut  2 роки тому

      You should be more than fine!!!
      My information systems degree did not require calculus OR physics, just college level algebra. If you were to continue to a four-year degree, you may find that they want you to have calculus as a prerequisite to discrete math, and physics may be a general education requirement.
      Either way, they are introductory courses!! I didn’t take either in high school and am doing just fine taking them in college.
      Hope this helps!!! 😊
