I recommend getting the quick release plate and mounting it on gimbal so that you just attach the camera and be ready to shoot. Feiyu also makes good bags for gimbals.
The product page off that ball head says Max load: 15kg. But is the ball head really strong enough to keep a heavy lens in place, like say the Sigma 150-600 C which weights around 1.5KG I think.
The heavies setup that I have used with that balled is Sony A6500 and Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 + MC-11, as long as the setup is reasonably well balanced, it shouldn't have problems with heavy lenses.
The Hybrid Shooter thanks for the reply. When putting it in a fixed position does the lens/camera still move down a little when the camera is a bit front heavy? I have a nice portable tripod by Cullman but it can't hold my Sigma 150-600 so I have to use my clunky Hama tripod for that, but it uses a video head and overall it's not a great tripod (at all). So I'm interested in getting another ball head for the Cullman tripod.
If you use it with the mounting point on the lens, it should be fine, although I haven't tested it with such heavy lens, so I unfortunately can't tell you for sure.
Well, I got my ballhead. But forgot to look a the size of the screw thread. Mistakenly expected it would fit my Cullman Tripod, but that has a smaller thread. So now I've got a sturdy ball head but can't use it, argh! Oh well, time to start looking for something to mount it on...
Another excellent and informative video! Allow me to ask you, have you used the A6500 for time lapses? If so how did it perform? Thank You My Friend 🐻👍🏻

The Hybrid Shooter hey do you mind sharing what brand the screen protector is?
It is just Belkin iPad screen protector that I cut into pieces that fit A6500.
Any advice for storing your Gimbal and camera setup so that it is protected but ready to shoot?
I recommend getting the quick release plate and mounting it on gimbal so that you just attach the camera and be ready to shoot. Feiyu also makes good bags for gimbals.
Can we use full frame lenses on a6500/a6300 ?
Yes, you can.
What camera and lens are you using shooting this video?
Multiple cameras like Panasonic G9, Sony A6500 and Panasonic G85.

The Hybrid Shooter cheers. Will give it a go I think.

I don’t even have a Sony but I definitely enjoy your tips!
Thank you, I intend to make Panasonic version, but I am still waiting for the battery grip that should have been included with G9.
Another excellent and informative video! Allow me to ask you, have you used the A6500 for time lapses? If so how did it perform? Thank You My Friend 🐻👍🏻
Thank you, for timelpases I use the free app shown in this video bit.ly/freetimelapse it performs very well in my opinion.
"HELLO FRIENDS" lol love it everytime he says it
Thank you, I will continue saying that.
Great accessories! Sigma f/1.4 is on top of my buying list!
Thank you, Sigma 16mm F1.4 is definitely worth it.
Brooo you sigma lens so cleannn wowwww
Is your Audio lower than normal on this vid?
No, I don't think so, I always keep the peaking at -12 dB.
Really no image quality loss with the nd4 filter!? Just ordered one 58mm for €4. Would be a great deal.
According to my testing there is no visible loss in image quality.
Great! Thx
The Hybrid Shooter received it today, there really is no loss in image quality. Immediately ordered a nd8 aswell.
But I did find out that they aren't usable past +/- 150mm since it gives very bad sharpness
I'm not sure how that is possible, there is no reason why ND filter would perform differently at 16mm or 150mm.
This is a great video. I'm considering getting an a6500
Thank you, if you are considering A6500 take a look at my new review: bit.ly/SonyA6500review
How much for all this items
There are links in the description, you can count it.
Great video!
Thank you!
Nice video. I got the RAV Power batteries without problems from Amazon DE. So no problem for the users in Europe. Also, very happy with the batteries.
Depends on where in you live, no one is shipping those to Slovakia where I live.
Fair enough. Let's agree that it's no problem to get them in some parts of Europe :)
Nice video. I've been eyeing those Zomei tripods for quite some time now. Thanks for this review. :D
Thank you, I will make separate video about that tripod soon.
Great video! I will be purchasing some of these items soon.
Thank you!
I can record in 100mb even though it says 95mb?
Yes, those speeds ratings are quite complicated, you just need card with with V30 certification, SanDisk Extreme PRO has that.
video bitrate is 100 megabites(12.5 megabytes) and card spec is 95 megabytes(peac read speed btw)
You can buy Rawpowers from Amazon.de
Yes, but they won't ship those to where I live.
pekny zaber bratislavskeho mostu:-)
Ďakujem!
Lol got a Canon ad before this video advertising their mirrorless.
That makes sense, Canon will need a lot of ads to sell something in upcoming months.
hello my friends... :D
