On November 14, 2013, Disneyland Resort held the official premiere of World of Color - Winter Dreams, an all-new holiday version of the popular nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure. Introduced by show designer Steve Davison and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf in Frozen), the 30-minute show is hosted by Olaf the snowman featuring clips, songs, and new animation from the worlds of Frozen, Toy Story, Tangled, Cars and many Disney classics along with the virtual choir of fans singing.
This show, no matter what the theme, is possibly the most magical park experience that Disney does. Nothing in any of the other parks compares!
At the end, you will notice a small splash of orange. That orange splash represents Walt Disney. Fun fact for you!

Let It Go is such a powerful song I love it so much! Robert and Kristen Lopez did an amazing job. I can't wait to see Frozen which is coming out next week,I'm so excited!
I was here with my friends 2 days ago for the first time in 12 years... Man did I feel like a little kid again.
*-* We even bought Olafs when we thought all of them were sold out with Frozen's recent success.

This past weekend I visited Disneyland for the first time. Disneyland was the first place that I actually enjoyed rides. It was a very memorable experience. Disneyland World of Colors winter was the most memorable experience that I say I will remember the most. I loved the world of colors show. I watched all 3 nights I was their. Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. Even though I had to leave back to Vegas the next day unfortunetely, I will always cherish that time. I wish I could stay at Disneyland and California forever. Thank you for making my life just a little better and for creating wonderful memories.

I love this show SOOOOOOO much!! Especially the "postcard" bit after "Let it Go." The designs kinda remind me of Mary Blair's "It's a Small World" designs. ;)
That Frozen song is one of the most epic things Disney has done recently...

Attended the World of Color Winter Dreams premiere! It was so beautiful! Olaf was a great host and gosh ‘Let It Go’ is a such beautiful song! SO ready to see Frozen! :)

Got major nostalgia flashbacks during the Toy Story Nutcracker part -- most of the music they use there is taken directly from Mickey's Nutcracker! I still watch it every year! The hoedown version of the Russian Dance, the snippet of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Waltz of the Flowers with the lyrics added, look it up, they're exactly the same!
the feels i get watching this is crazy so many goose bumps and i swear i had tears in my eyes. My inner child definitely came out watching all those old Disney movies especially beauty and the beast in there briefly.
So cute. Can't wait to see in person. Love Olaf!

Let it go gave it a perfect touch to this show. Wish i had been there to see it myself. Hopefully this year i'll go.

This is just as good as the original! The only problem I have with it is that they added "I See the Light" from Tangled. I wish they only used real Christmas stuff. I LOVED the Toy Story Nutcracker. It was funny and creative. I loved how they used "Season of Love" from Mickey's Nutcracker. I think they should bring that show back because it was amazing. Anyway, it was beautiful and the sneak peek to Frozen was way cool! I hope this show returns every year for Christmas.
I love how everybody's mouse ears were glowing at the same time to match the show. :)

If Olaf doesn't get as many fans as Disney hopes, then Jiminy Cricket should host next year's show, since he hosted a Christmas episode of _Wonderful World of Color_ (back when it was called _Walt Disney Presents_).
i was honestly expecting that! i was really disappointed!!!! World of Color lacked that feeling! it was too much tinker bell and frozen!

Simply beautiful, I love the original songs from this new show.
I first saw this show last New Years Eve. And I hated it. To be fair, I hadn't yet seen Frozen, and that was my first trip to Disneyland that year as I live on the east coast. I was so excited all day about World of Color and had been telling my friend all day how amazing it was. Then I got this show and I hated it, and I love Christmas and sing-a-longs so I should have loved it. I'd love 2 different shows during the holidays, maybe do this show at the early time and the later is the original W.O.C.

I like the one part which gave me the chills at 14:38 and through.
They only have so many Christmas things because not everyone is a Christian and you all need to understand that. (Not everyone celebrates Christmas so it can't all be about Christmas)

I really hope that Disney for just one season, they bring back this show. I loved the this version of the show, but as they updated the show with more frozen, the transitions of the show weren't as good and they even took out the intro song that i loved...at least they kept the finale song. I know its been a couple years since they show has gone, but the new show, World of Color Season of light...well..i'm not saying that it is horrible, but it doesn't have that Disney magic like the original Winter Dreams. World of Color Season of Light is really just calm music and the beautiful dancing water and effects they use, unless its just like a regular water show to me. World of color Winter Dreams is a unique show because of the comedy and the powerful music they had. I really hope that Disney someday will bring back this show for one season, well the original version, not with the Do you want to build a snowman scene.
are you crazy? Season of Light is the spirit of the Original WOC (a show I regard as the best disney show ever created) with a perfect balance of comedy, beautiful sequences, and great music. This show is ruined by Olaf, and they say as much when they slap Walt Disney’s face by saying “Olaf Presents”
Way to much josh had in this show for it to be good. It feels cheap. The only part that is good is the at last i see the light sequence

This is truly spectacular, especially since this show opened on my birthday! Loved every minute of it! Also, during the finale of The Toy Story Nutcracker segment finale, has anyone recognized the song "Season for Love" was from the Disneyland stage show Mickey's Nutcracker? I'm really glad they added it into this show! :D

I feel like like they put to much emphasis on Frozen, that they kinda left out the magic that is World of Color. Must say it was kinda boring at some parts, and other parts just amazing.

Amazing show. This wasn't meant to be a Christmas show as much as it was suppose to capture the winter "dreams" of various Disney characters. I like the vintage Disney Characters being used in the beginning and Olaf being the host throughout the show was funny and perfect. Maybe some of these who are so quick to criticize should go see it in person. In person is so much better than on video here

In my opinion honestly, they could of done better with this like the other World Of Color event. This one felt like they don't care that much, before you guys thumb me down and reply to me with mad comments let me say why I didn't like it a lot from what I see here. All they did was just compilated their cartoons and make them look like their participating it, that's it. The squeaky aliens were probably the biggest highlight since it was funny that they were copying the dancing mushrooms from Disney's other project Fantasia. And it also really feels like the majority watching this didn't care. Its my opinion though.

I have been planning on visiting DCA for over 6 months... have Carthay Circle reservations to be able to obtain the better viewing tickets for World of Color and now they have replaced the show for this thing?!?!

I like it! Olaf was so entertaining during the show. But, here's one thing that seems odd. I guess they only had few Christmas themed segments like Bambi and Toy Story, while most of if was themed around Frozen. But the show is only to be around the Holidays, so was kind of neat, so to say.
