Loved how Disney embraced their new releases like Big Hero 6 and Wreck it Ralph and even remember some more obscure like Rescuers Down Under. Hopefully the next addition can add the Muppets and Marvel since they added Star Wars. A very good show.
aquapyro1 Right before the final finale at about 20 seconds, there's a flash of more recent Disney live action (Cinderella, etc.), then a flash of Star Wars, then a flash of Marvel (Look at the Fun Wheel for Captain America)!
I must admit, this was one fabulous journey into the magical history of Walt Disney's life. He was one man alone with one dream that changed the whole world. He was the first one to produce an animated full length movie. And despite all doubts, it was the beginning of a new era in the film business. He had a dream and fought for it with all of his heart. He is one of my most favourite people, he inspires so many of us all over the world. He might have passed away but I am sure he knows that he's still alive to us. Walt Disney, You were one of the greatest people alive. You changed the world and you proved that dreams, as silly as the seem to others, can come true if you alone believe in it. You worked hard and it payed off. You're the hero of my childhood and soon to be adulthood too, and I surely will never forget: "It was all started by a mouse." ♥
That was the best world of colors I have ever seen in my life!! I hope that Disneyland will forever stay amazing and beautiful as Walt Disney him self saw Disneyland would be. You have to be really CRAZY not to love Disneyland!! Happy 60 years of Disneyland!!!!
I never saw the original World of Color but I just saw this in person a couple days ago and I work for the Walt Disney World Company and it really touched me because if it weren't for Walt, I wouldn't be working at such an amazing place. Me and my roommates were so happy to hear NPH singing Celebrate the Magic because it's from the pre-firework show in Disney World! I love this and I cried seeing this!!
You are the BEST!! As a previous Annual Pass Holder it's KILLING ME that I can't be at the parks to see all of this new stuff in person. Thank you SO MUCH for getting this up so quickly!
Freakin love it! It was like my whole childhood assaulted me with sappy nostalgia goodness. There's a water show going on in my eyes. Now if only I can afford to go see it in person.
Walt Disney is one of my favorite people ever. His creations have made a great remarkable impact on mine and millions of other people's childhoods and lives today. I can't thank him enough for bringing me genuine happiness throughout the years that will last a lifetime. I will forever love Disney with everything I am. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video even though I see it almost every week haha (AP Holder!)
I understand you all missing the original show, but really I think Walt deserves this. If you ever really watched a documentary about Walt or knew of the pain Walt had to endure in his youth, you would all have different thoughts regarding this show. I think it's spectacular.
(applauds) Well said. I've watched several documentaries regarding Walt's life. He started off with nothing in his youth and only had dreams, so he took many risks to have it realized and thus shaped our childhood as well as our adulthood. His legacy is still very much thriving and will always delight and dazzle for generations. That will never fade.
Watching this with the audio from the tv and the top of the show (when everything goes above screen) is awesome when you want to be comfortable and not lost in the crowd. No magic was lost. Thank you for this video.
I had a dream once…Walt Disney was alive, and was very happy with the current state of the Disney parks and the movies. And I got to talk to him and tell him how much I love his work.
This new World of Color show is just so beautiful! :) I just love that they added other Disney characters like Big Hero 6 and other characters that need more love, Star Wars with the new Force Awakens was awesome, and the addition of Walt Disney in the show just brought me to tears. :') This whole show left me crying with joy and I can't wait to go back to Disneyland to see it!
I love the show. When "Forever Young" starts though, it makes me cry. I see the old man with his grandchild and it makes me sad because my dad would rather spend his time drinking than be with his family. I always hoped to do something like this with my father and any children I have but I know it will never happen.
Man, with all the tributes they're paying to Walt Disney for the 60th I find myself tearing up in every video I watch. It's so heartwarming and you can't help but smile at the mention of Walt.
So nice to see a show with Walt Disney included fully. California knows what its really about. In Florida's WDW 's world Walt is barely an afterthought.
I can't wait to see this in person on its actual opening day 1month and 24 days till I leave thanks for uploading I'm gonna be crying with tears of joy when I see this ☺️
I remember two years ago Julie Andrews narrated the fireworks at Disneyland and I nearly lost my shit....I was trying so hard not to cry! But yes, Julie Andrews would've been a better choice than Neil.
I remember the first time I watched this world of color, I was 8 and I had no idea what to expect in this one and was always a huge Star Wars fan. And literally, once Star Wars began playing I immediately lost it! I think I almost cried once Star Wars started playing! Such a fun experience!
I haven't ever seen the original world of color but I did cry at every single part that had Walt Disney and during the Tangled moment. People kinda laughed at me for crying but that didn't bother me much at all. Happy 60th birthday to the Happiest Place on Earth. And thank you so much to Walt Disney for creating such a magical place that has been a part of my life for 18 years. Happy birthday!
As much as I liked this 60th anniversary show, I think a huge opportunity was wasted here. Instead of a celebrity, Mickey should've hosted the show with his older brother, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He recently came back to Disney, and could've gone on an adventure with his little brother to see what's happened in all the time he's been away.
+TheGreenMachine987 DISNEY ARE YOU LISTENING TO THIS INGENIOUS COMMENT?! That would've been so much better! Not only does it show the 60th Anniversary aspect but, man when you put it with Oswald as Mickey's "long lost older brother" I could see so much feels if they had that be the focus of the show.
***** - Seems as though UA-cam might have removed the "Let It Go" audio for copyright infringement. It's a shame that they'd do that as its all part of the show.
i just wanted to thank you for putting this up for all to see, for those like me who just cant be there in person to see it for whatever reason, i grew up with disneyland as a part of my life and worked there for a number of years and to see the magic happen in person was the most enlightening time of my life, it made me realize how powerful your mind can be and how you can change your world with just your imagination. thanks so much :)
The first time I saw this (in person) I enjoyed it but I missed the old one. I still miss the old one and I think preferred it to this one but I have to say this is growing on me the more I watch it
Hearing Celebrate the Magic in this, as a Disney World person, was absolutely amazing~ A little sad at the lack of nods to a couple of things like the Electrical Parade and the old firework show in the park segment, would have preferred it to Star Wars getting the extended part. Still, magnificent none the less.
Always I watch this, it makes me cry, Im from Guatemala, we were poor, and as a child I never even dream, watch a show like this, its makes me emotional that my baby girl of 3 has the chance to go and enjoy this experience, this is all my childhood in 20 minutes "mickey mouse, mickey mouse..."
thank you so much for uploading this!! really, if i went to 24hrs tmrw, i wanted to just see woc and fantasmic. but bc my parents didnt renew my pass, im unable to go. but watching this was enough. i teared up as if i was there. thank you for doing this :)
Thankyou soooooo much for uploading this & all the new 60th Celebration videos! As an annual pass-holder, I wish I could be there but I'm 38 weeks pregnant lol :( so gotta wait a bit longer to go enjoy these live!
PS: To those wondering why the audio got cut for Let it Go, my guess is they want to avoid copyright strikes. ;) However, a standalone segment--with full audio--is also on this channel. :)
This is nice, but feels like watching a documentary on water. I love Neil Pat but for some reason he takes away from the magic for me. And as much as I love Frozen, it randomly has a long segment in the middle of the show. Not fair having the rest of the Disney animated classics in one huge montage. It just feels all mish mashed together and disjointed. But it definitely has it's moments. All in all I love the history of Walt Disney being told in this great show, but I really do think the original is the best. I'm suprised the Disneyland forever fireworks are titled that when THIS is the show that tells the history of Disneyland.
I love walt disney everytime I see one of his sayings like: "it's fun doing the impossible" or " why worry? If you know you did it right, there's no need to worry about it" (in other words: HAKUNA MATATA) seriously, that guy should've been my mentor, though he practically is since I look up to him.
Y'all complaining about frozen and star wars having a big part in this show... Just shut up already and enjoy the show as it is. I got tears in my eyes after i watched this because I enjoyed it, and I didn't complain about anything like you guys.
I hated how frozen got a huge part it in it and although I love Neil Patrick Harris he was so irrelevant they didn't need him in this. But I did enjoy this one more than I thought it would've I loved seeing the history but the original is still waaaaay better
I loved watching this from our balcony in our Villa at the Grand California :) I know in october when I am in the Grand Villa it will be even better! Hopefully there is going to be a different show looking at the World Of Color :)))
Glad I saw it last week, prior to Diamond celeb. Came to YT to see Brave clip...Lion King...etc. But the new one made me tear up so much! My feet were too sore to really enjoy it live. Lol.
Aditya Ambre True, I feel there's something missing about it, but it's very sentimental especially for true Disney fans who know the history of Disneyland and all :') I appreciated that aspect about it, but the show as a whole seems rather... slow?
I love how Mickey is still the center of attention at the parks (he has always been my fave). I just wish Disney would make a movie with him though. I've always wanted to see Mickey on the big screen.
That was beautiful beyond words. RIP Walt. All the world will love you forever.
Man who brought the onions
No really my eyes teared up at all the parts with walt disney in it
"To all who come to this happy place welcome"
Disnerd13 *raises hand* I brought the onions...there are more waterworks going on in the audience than the show :')
Disnerd13 which part was this? I can't find it. ;-;
Malia Hale Its was around 13:09
Disnerd13 I know right same hear
Disnerd13 I totally cried thru it too.
I love this new world of color, it made me tear up and i am 24. Thanks Walt Disney for making disneyland and all you did.
It would be hilarious if during the Small World section, Scar came out and was like "No, no! Anything but that!"
Lol
Staring into ur soul.....
can't explain why but the little boy hugging Mickey at 18:23 always gets to me
I cry every time I watch this. I love Disney so much

Christopher Falcioni Yeah, you can see Thor, Hulk and Iron Man too. Im thinking that Marvel had a segment that was cut.
Christopher Falcioni YES!!
aquapyro1 NO WAY!!!
aquapyro1 Rescures Down Under!!!!!! You never see them embrace this movie! One of my favorites!
This is BY FAR the best version of World Of Color. So freaking fantastic.

Disney never fails to put a smile on my face
Bros mad 💀
The "FOREVER YOUNG" sequence got me the most... and the parts with Walt.
So many feels! I smiled, I cried and I got goosebumps all over!
You are the BEST!! As a previous Annual Pass Holder it's KILLING ME that I can't be at the parks to see all of this new stuff in person. Thank you SO MUCH for getting this up so quickly!
I legit almost cried at the forever young part plus I got chills when they showed mickey and walts sillohuette
Freakin love it! It was like my whole childhood assaulted me with sappy nostalgia goodness. There's a water show going on in my eyes. Now if only I can afford to go see it in person.
Welcome to your 30s
I am literally all teary at work right now. Holy moley.
Anyone else cried while watching this? 😭❤️
if this one made you cry, then you should hear the Disneyland forever song "Step into the magic" that one gets me.

gamonstudios I see what you did there.
gamonstudios Don't you mean "walt" for it?
Other Franchise Screen Time:
Star Wars: 2-3 Mins
Marvel: About 3 seconds
Beautiful I was here and I LOVED IT. there is no place like disney. I PROMISE :)

Watching this with the audio from the tv and the top of the show (when everything goes above screen) is awesome when you want to be comfortable and not lost in the crowd. No magic was lost. Thank you for this video.
The song makes me cry in the end 😭😭😭😭I want to go to Disneyland
Thank you so much for posting this one! I wasn't able to see much of it because I wasn't in the fast pass seating area.
HOW BEAUTIFUL!!! So glad they put a little of Big Hero 6 and Star Wars, it's got a little bit of everything! Disney out did it again! Great job!
I had a dream once…Walt Disney was alive, and was very happy with the current state of the Disney parks and the movies. And I got to talk to him and tell him how much I love his work.

I guess youtube cut out the Frozen audio, darn them! I was a fantastic show, and yes, I cried a few times. Thanks Ricky!
That Forever Young part always gets me.
very excited to see it in person!
I love the show. When "Forever Young" starts though, it makes me cry. This seriously makes my heart so happy! My childhood would not be the same with out Disney!
8 years later, I still find this video beautiful ❤
Not even 5 min into the video and my eyes are already watering
The Star Wars segment.... Oh... Oh yes.
Agree with u
+RockysReviews im not A star Wars fan at all but It was definitely one of m favorite parts and one of the best parts by far!!!
If ur actually there it is awesome
It is so awesome...especially if you're there...the heat in your face, even if you're kinda far back
I just got all choked up. Great show! Can't wait to see it in person.

I think Julie Andrews would have been a better choice than Neil. She actually knew and worked with Walt.
+tregorn Oh my god so many people would cry.
all the more reason to use her
I remember two years ago Julie Andrews narrated the fireworks at Disneyland and I nearly lost my shit....I was trying so hard not to cry! But yes, Julie Andrews would've been a better choice than Neil.
Yep my thoughts exactly
The problem with that would be that she couldn't sing
I've never been to Disney Land, but I plan on Disney World soon, so these videos always make my day. And I have total goosbumps right now. Oh my!
I remember the first time I watched this world of color, I was 8 and I had no idea what to expect in this one and was always a huge Star Wars fan. And literally, once Star Wars began playing I immediately lost it! I think I almost cried once Star Wars started playing! Such a fun experience!
Oh my God, so good!
I cried all along this :'(
And I cried more because as I'm french, I won't be able to see it in person >.
I haven't ever seen the original world of color but I did cry at every single part that had Walt Disney and during the Tangled moment. Not bad
+TheGreenMachine987 Would he have been voiced by Frank Welker?
+321SPONGEBOLT Of Course! He's the current voice of Oswald
Wow, that was incredible! I loved the entire show.
That. Was. ASTOUNDING. Bravo, Imagineers! :)
Is it the camera or my speakers that didn't want to hear Let It Go ?
***** - Seems as though UA-cam might have removed the "Let It Go" audio for copyright infringement. It's a shame that they'd do that as its all part of the show.
***** It was a blessing.
Amara Jackson Lol
It's there new Copyright policy they remove the music. Like soooo many audio tracks are gone also Fantasmic.
+Liam Kirley kkw
Damn, they really pulled out all the stops for those last ~30 seconds.

I so want to see this in the summer! It looks amazing!
Good news! The original is coming back!
This is the best of the 3 special shows for the 60th Anniversary.
i just wanted to thank you for putting this up for all to see, for those like me who just cant be there in person to see it for whatever reason, i grew up with disneyland as a part of my life and worked there for a number of years and to see the magic happen in person was the most enlightening time of my life, it made me realize how powerful your mind can be and how you can change your world with just your imagination. thanks so much :)
Wow. I was never a big fan of WOC, but this changed that. Amazing!
most incredible thing ive seen in my life (even though it was 3 am and i was delirious)
I told myself I would wait and watch it in person when I went to Disneyland in august, but I cant, I MUST WATCH IT NOW.
redique I'm going in July and told myself the same thing for all of the new shows, but I am weak!
Amazing!! World of Color was closed when I was there in February. I can't wait to see it when I go in spring next year!!!!
The first time I saw this (in person) I enjoyed it but I missed the old one. I still miss the old one and I think preferred it to this one but I have to say this is growing on me the more I watch it

This gives me so many feels ;u; Without Disney, I don't think I'd be who I am today.
BEAUTIFUL !
PS: To those wondering why the audio got cut for Let it Go, my guess is they want to avoid copyright strikes. ;) However, a standalone segment--with full audio--is also on this channel. :)
The best tribute to all animated movies of the world of Disney.
THAT WAS AWSOME!!! I' lovet for this show!!!!! 😁😁😁😁💗💗💗💗👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Every time I watch these I tear up
I must admit, this was the most astonishing thing I've seen in a long time.
Disneyland is just the most happiest place and on world💕💕💕💕
I still cry everytime I watch this
I'll get to see this show in person soon. My mom and stepdad are taking me in August on my birthday. I'm soooooo excited!!
Is it just me or am I the only one that cried when they showed Disneyland at the end? I loved it so much and I want to see it again
Nice Job! Thanks for sharing!!
I cried watching this.

Derek B I did enjoy the music.
KPH101 Forever Young gives me chills. Other than that, not a fan.
+Derek B when someone drops his fairy dust in the documentary
Can't wait to live long enough to see the 100 anniversary
I was there too!
Thanks for posting.
That was amazing!
Whenever I hear about dreams in Disney videos, I hold on to my sketch book, containing my manga, as my dream is to be a manga artist.
It's My Dream Too To Draw Anime Too
I'm crying!!! Only five more weeks till I'm there!!
I'm not crying. I swear.
I get so many chills with neils song i tear up a lil
I was like "I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry!" *cries*

That is the smoothest animated mickey mouse ever.. just as smooth as the runaway brain
14:11 I keep coming back for this part
