- For the Christmas season, Disney California Adventure Park presents 'World of Color - Winter Dreams' a brand new holiday version of World of Color starring Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad), the lovable snowman from Disney's "Frozen", a Toy Story Nutcracker sequence and a special intro featuring the Honor Choir.

Edit: The first appearance of WOC: Winter Dreams contained the opening choir singing Glow, and you have filmed it well!

I personally enjoyed the World of Color: Winter Dreams show more in comparison to the regular World of Color show. Reasons being:
1) Olaf is the host
2) Let it Go featuring Disney's first ever princess to be dubbed a queen (Elsa)
3) Celine Dion singing "See the Light"
4) Creative Toy Story Nut Cracker
5) Disney Fairies + Secret of the Wings star Periwinkle in the beginning
6) Olaf Sing-Along to 3 different kinds of winter season carols.

and was the "Let it Go" segment remixed a bit? it sounded so different and majestic with a lot more piano and melody :] it was really pretty

Just watching this for the first time, as I was curious what the Christmas WOC was before Season of Light, and although I prefer that show, this one was still very good and fun! Great recording quality too, also loved the color matching Mickey ears also, perfect touch to the show!

What? No Jack Skellington? They could have "What's This?" play in the show somewhere.
I think this was more of a vaguely religious show, so back skellington wouldn't exactly fit, but if it weren't so "praise Jesus" in some sequences, I'm sure they probably would've had it.

Maliboomer would've played a very important role in the show if it was still there because of the lights in the show to make it amazing. If Disney did not remove Maliboomer and make Paradise Pier a very crappy Victorian theme, then this show would've been worth seeing. But still, an awesome way to get started with the holiday cheer!

An1mag1qu3 Thanks dude. I'll try to find Space Shot rides like the Maliboomer. I know that The Stratosphere has a Space Shot type ride there at the top of the tower. I'll try to find more rides like that.

I enjoy Season of Light in my opinion this shows didn't seem like a Winter Dream it seems more like a Frozen Spectacular but we're all entitled to our own opinion
Now Disney is Toy Story and Frozen. The company has forgotten the classic : WALL- E, Pinoochio, etc.
The classic movies will be put in the New World of Color: Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney. While the Wall E was on the Regular show of World of Color.

At least WALL E is 8 year old, but Frozen is just 2. Now Disney is only Toy Story and Frozen, only money, and that is it.
Wall E is considered a Clasiic of Pixar and one of the best animated movie of all the time, deserve more attention than... cars !

Does anyone have good tips on where to stand to see the show like this? Or did he just film it above his head or something? I made the mistake of not hanging back the last time I saw World of Color. I wasn't too bummed, since I've seen it before.

Nice capture. I don't know what it is, but as beautiful and spectacular as this show was to the eyes and ears, it seemed to lack warmth, heart and substance. After seeing it in person, I had no desire to see it again.

희경 they are the glow with the show ears where they change colemos with shows but you can also customized the color yourself. But when the show starts and you are in the area of effect the ear will change no matter what.

I can't wait for Winter Dreams to come back but there are some changes that I would like to see. Olaf needs to be less annoying, olaf needs to be less annoying, olaf needs to be less annoying, and I really do love Toy Story but the segment is too long. Oh and I almost forgot! Olaf needs to be less annoying!!

Unfortunatelyt his year, there's still too much Olaf and Frozen even for my tastes. And I'm a Frozen fan! Personally, I wish the show had more balance between projections and making the water dance.

Jon-Michael Maldonado That's not my point. It doesn't have to be Disney Winter/ Holiday songs/ movies. They've released traditional Christmas and Holiday albums before, so why not use those? It was less "World of Color" and more "World of Frozen w/ a dash of Toy Story".
dozer11 It's probably some sort of economic thing, like they are using the show as a way to promote frozen or they can not use traditional Christmas songs so they don't offend people.

im surprised that just this show has anything tangled in it. Like more that a 5 sec thing, but that part is replaced by tarzan now soo.

The show was great last year but since they changed the beginning of the show to Do you want to build a snowman now it is not great
SoCal ThemeParks oh my goodness the original was infinitely better. That opening was beautiful. The animation, laser effects and fountains blended together seamlessly and looked absolutely gorgeous. I'm so disappointed the whole opening theme was cut because it makes the finale feel just wrong. Rather than returning to the start and wrapping the show up it just kind of comes out of nowhere.
I want more 2d less cgi and 3d please

Not to bring up something that was from 4 years ago, but Toy Story was Pixar's first and most popular movie franchise, so it's like Woody is basically Pixar's Mickey Mouse.

Great we obviously need more frozen and totally forget outher great movies!! (Wreck it ralph) ps I hate frozen there going way over bored with that relly annoying movie.
I really don't like this at all. It lacks flow and its annoying at most parts. Toy Story segment is annoying, I don't like the "carol" they made. It starts soon slow then gets fast. I tried rewatching this and stooped after 5 mins. I sat thru it live because I was there.
As I said it lacks flow. Believe in the Holiday Magic has great flow and the song choice is perfect. No cheesy Christmas songs, movie plug ins, or well Olaf. There's a reason after 14 continuous years of playing during the Holidays.
In the end this show is a disappointment, as World of Color would've worked better like how Illuminations: Reflections of Earth does and have the Xmas part after the main show, like a post show.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I love Christmas but hate this show. Especially since the original WOC is so good. Sat through it last nye for the first time and the first 10 min was hoping it would end so I could see the real show.
