Great build ! It carried me 1-100 with zero issues. I even solo Tormented Grigoire as soon as a reach 100 with basic trash gear : my Khanduras ilvl 538 is not even sacred (T_T) and I didn't use umbrous aspect...until now lol So pretty good for single target but not the best to solo Hordes. It lacks AoE size IMO. Great addition in a party tho ! The CC and damage are INSANE !

Last season I've used this on Heartseeker all the way because I throught Arrow Storms would do only like half the damage if I procced them from melee weapon rather than ranged. Dunno how that actually works, if it takes an averaged value or something. But it was pretty good, actually. Arrow Storm is just one of those effects where it's not easy to see what scales it's damage and what doesn't. Because it's a proc effect, so it's not marksman damage, it's not even ranged damage or Damage over Time I believe. It cannot proc further lucky hits (unlike stun grenades if you have that one aspect) and whether it benefits from damage to close/distant is anyone's guess. So the only safe choices are vulnerable damage, crit damage, damage to chilled, and similar broad effects. It just seems hard to build because it invalidates half the aspects, glyphs and paragon node effects..
Can also confirm it took forever to have the Umbral aspect drop. I think I was level 96 when it finally happened. Now the Scoundrel's Kiss just does.not.drop. Countless runs of Lord Zir...nothing, and I would really like to try the rapid fire build :(
Am doing a death trap build now and it is really great almost quick cooldown and am glad that the ultimates are getting love this season. They are all lit
ive only played minion necro before at launch, havent really touched it since, i decided to level rogue this season start and use this build and its been so nice! im having a blast
Great build, tbh, and a fun playstyle with all the mobility (night and day for a necro main). I'd add it's an extremely easy build to swap/gear into, and pretty easy play style to boot. Been having a blast with it since I saw your guide and realized it was the only thing I actually had the aspects for early on the leveling process.
I love these newly discovered builds, and to see what the meta will probably be for the season. Last season it was Heartseeker. I think this season might be Arrow Storms. Good information, wudi. This might be the 'easy mode' build and all-rounder of the season. We shall see. Thanks for the video.
Could you please make a Variant or a dedicated video on a version with Word of Hakan and Rain of Arrows? I would love to play that but I can't figure out how to optimize that setup
Told you storms would be good :D I'm planning on using them with Rain of Arrows and Heartseeker though - even nabbed a GA Word of Hakkan this morning with a ridiculous 63.5% CDR to Rain. It is kind of a pain switching gears from Flurry though. Speaking of which, been using Puncture + Flurry just like in this video, but I also have Coldclip with Penitent Greaves and Azurewrath (need a replacement Frostburns) Cold synergy on Rogue is crazy !
Can you run this on a barrage rogue with the two aspects? I can clear Pit 4, but Pit 5 I am so squishy.. anything Pit60+ I'm getting wrecked with your barrage build. Suggestions?
@ryanbak3358 I feel like I had double that life. Need some greater affix life rolls, maybe some max life in the paragon and you should feel less squishy.
Just wanted to say that I levelled my rogue with this build this season and it absolutely slaps with extremely low investment - I was able to burn down Lilith and all the other tormented bosses in one stagger phase at lvl 98 with no uniques and 4/12 MW’d gear, and it comfortably farms T6 IH. Really great build and guide, thanks!
This reason I won't come back to the game is because. We do all this leveling, gear farming and upgrading which is extremely repetitive. Not to even mentioned the sheer volume of bugs, hindering you from enjoying the game. Then being asked to pay at minimum $40 USD for a balanced character is outrageous. These gameplay videos aren't enough to make me come back. On my Playstation network I would have like 30-40 friends playing online. Now I only see like 3, so I assume it a common feeling.
You can easily enjoy the 1-100 while then spending a few days at 100 getting some endgame stuff done. Then you make a new char new class and bring it to 100 in a different way, then run it back again. Not fun enough? Play hardcore. It's the real game.

Im using heartseeker for thus build. Switch out a fw point to proc vulnerability. Its fun. I like long distance
I noticed arrow storm being wild when I was running 100 hords with a level 70 character... It was wild. I'm still using it at level character level 90

Ty been playing POE but jumped back to try season 5 and barrage feels boring going to change to this it looks amazingly fun
This looks soo much nicer than barrage. Im level 80 barrage now and yes its powerful, but also extremely clunky. Too many multipliers to juggle.
I cleared Lilith solo with this build with only the shroud unique, no GAs, and only have of my gear masterworked to level one. Made it video too.

Its funny last season i did arrowstorm as a joke. Then seen the nice buff to it this season, i was able to solo Uber D before reaching level 100

My barrage last season could do pit 80 no problem. Max life was 30-40k, max resistance and armor. What's ur stats like?
I clear with barrage 96 at the moment. Didnt tried higher at the moment. But im struggling with infernal horde 6+

Is there a bug with finding hell compass?
You have to do the quest for it, i think it starts right outside of Zarbinzet if i remember correctly. North-East.
Man i still havent gotten enough sigil powder after 4 hours of WT4 to unlock nightmare dungeons.

Things have felt okay on hardcore... Haven't fought Pit or Tormented bosses yet tho just plain and any from Helltide/NMD/hordes
