5/26/20-I had to fit brackets for fenders at the same time as attaching "A" frame to springs and trailer (the first step in construction.) This is different from video. Look at "Step 2" in manual. I bought my trailer from Home Depot in May 2020.
The whole reason I came here was to double check the fenders, but this video was useless in that regard...
Ditto from Home Depot. Had to buy more washers. Missing from Manufacturer
You do a GREAT JOB of instruction in this video! Just bought this exact trailer but mine is galvanized silver. Waiting for it to deliver. Hope it ends up being a great long lasting medium duty trailer! Thanks so much for this great helpful video! Going to use it to put mine together when I receive it.
Also I got one single longer safety chain on top of having a completely different fender set up. And the side light assemblies are different
I am about to order this same trailer for $98. But I want to know if I can get rid of the 12 inch tires and go 14 inch. I thinking just Redrill the placement holes for the fenders higher up.
IS THIS TRAILER WIDE ENOUGH AND LONG ENOUGH TO HAUL A 60 INCH CUT DECK ZERO TURN MOWER
Hey Rick, that probably won't work for you with a 60 inch. The width of the trailer is 60 inches, so if the tires and the chute is wider than the deck, it won't fit. If you had a narrower machine, you may also have an issue with the tires getting stuck in the space in the gate.
Is this process typical of the 5’ X 7’ model?
Can you use pins instead of bolts on the rear gate to allow it to swing from below?
I personally don’t think that would be a good idea because after a while of swinging it will loosen so it would fall off
Does the trailer come painted black or is it raw metal ?

Yes.
Does it need a license plate?
Most states require it.
If you plan on using it on the roads.......
Think they mention greasing in the instructions... wish they would have shown how to do that. There is a valve looking thing behind the wheel unlike how they show repacking.
Are these rated for high way speeds?
55 mph.
