I think 150/250 would be the right amount for a normal sims house, but I'd love to see her try to build with exactly 500 or 1000 items using the same shell.
or a no mistake’s version of this challenge
There would be so much clutter
Oh I definitely use way more but this is why I have problems with the prices of my houses 😂
that could be really interesting!
Yeah!!!
Suggestion:
Try the inverse of this challenge!
Build a tiny house on a 20x15 lot and try to fit 500 items!
Oooo that would be cool!!
Oh i love this idea so much. i can only imagine she would lose her mind at some point lol
I love that idea!
I feel like this would be great for the clutter kit
Most of that would be landscaping and clutter.
I can’t believe you didn’t take advantage of the picnic tables again… a table and 4 seats a in one object.
And the Island Living kitchen shelves. They take quite some space (2/3 tiles) on a single object.
Same with gallery style paintings, even if they don’t take more space as a single art piece it still looks more full.
And the Holiday Celebration picnic table works well as in indoor table.
I thought exactly the same.
I agree with last videos' comments pointing out that doors and windows shouldn't count as Objects
Completely agree
agree
agreed!!
to me an “object” would be anything that can go in the household inventory
and lights.
How about 50 distinct objects? So you can use duplicates free, so one window type counts for 1, whether you use it once or hundreds of times.
a little confusing to read but i think i get it maybe?? idk lol sounds cool i guess
@@CGI_Andy meanwhile i understood it instantly lol 😅
This challenge is so fun! Maybe do a random number generator for how many objects you can use per room, or use it for the overall item count!❤️
Ohhhh that would be really cool!
yes I was just thinking this
Simsie: *removes desk* “but what am I gonna replace it with?”
Me: well it’s a bedroom so DRESSER?? 😂😭😭
Right!
I was screaming at my phone but I realize she can’t hear me 😭😭
I was so hoping that this would be a video!!
I love the idea of just adding 50-100 items to the challenge each time, to see how many items it actually takes to make a house up to Simsie’s Standards ™️ 🤣
A fun idea for a challenge: random number generator but instead of budget for each room, it's number of items
I've already watched the video of the 50 items house and now I finished watching this video, and now I feel like I need to watch a 500 or 1000 objects house just to see the complete opposite lol
I kept yelling “Swing-set!!” for the 100th object outside. I think it would be perfect in the front of the house! Love the mini series ❤️
Next week I hope to see 500 object in that same house
then we can see how full it could be 🤣
i think a no mistakes version of this challenge would be really funny but also really cool to watch
i was just binge watching a bunch of lilsimsie speed builds omg
sameee
Would be interesting to see you furnish this house how you would with no limit but still count to see how many items you would actually use.
I think we should count as objects just the things that we could put in the household inventory. So that means columns and maybe windows? don’t count 😅
I think she should make refurnishing this house with 50 more items until the challenge becomes how to fit so many items in the house instead of making it looks good without that many items!
I already know, this build challenge is going to cause many panic attacks and I’m so here for it 😂
Me too 😂
This reminds me of decorating my house in Everquest II, 100 items per limit.
I really like this mini series!!! Maybe you could try upping the item count every time? Like 50 to 100 and then 200 or 500. Love your content, have a nice day 😄😊. Currently binge watching the legacy challenge lol. I'm trying to catch up😅
You should try an object count with a randomized budget! That could be a really interesting challenge!!
Kayla: it's a item challenge not a budget challenge.
Also Kayla: uses the cheapest computer
It would be so funny if every week you just did it again with an extra 50 items until you’re using the same shell for 500 items so it would be difficult for the opposite reason... could be a good 10 week series I’d certainly watch and like all!!!
Wow I’m never catch a video this early!!!
I know this is a challenge but id be nice to use some other objects other than the same ones but in different swatches again again, it looks like you’re building the same house over and over
I think doors & windows shouldn't count as objects, like they're "built into the wall". Like if you bought an empty house it would still have those!
It would be interesting seeing how far you could get with this house if you keep upping the count; going to to 200 to maybe even more and seeing what the difference would be in the end
I love how she never considered adding a dresser 😂
These videos are so fun to watch it's like a tutorial and I love watching them. I would love it if you could do one on how you control your cameras. That's a thing I'm having real struggle with.
Cant wait for the 150, 250, 500, and 1000 item versions of this house 😂
Wow I have never seen an upload within 46 seconds!! Cool!❤❤❤
Hey, I really want to thank you for these videos. They're so calming and help me a lot!
You inspire me with sims 4 thank you so much, don’t stop what our doing!
Now it's time to do a challenge when you have like x items per room.
Woah I didn't even realize I was early-
New challenge idea: try to cram 200 items into a 20x30 lot, not counting landscaping.
You've tried to make a decent sized house with limited items, now try to make a small sized house with too many!
IMO, the answer to "does it count as an object" is "can it go in the household inventory". If you couldn't take it with your sims when they move lots, it's free use!
I give my respects to lilsimsie for doing this challenge.
Omg windows and doors shouldn’t count as objects 😂
When you have one item left and no idea what to do, add a gnome to your front garden :)
Suggestion: refurnish this house and keep an item count BUT have no limit! This way we can see how many items are really needed
this was def an interesting video for my birthday!! but im glad its here :)
I like this! 50 was fun but this is even more interesting to watch for me
The third part of this series should be decorating that house with no limits to see how many items you would use to funish it the was you really want!
Love you simsie❤❤
Always love you builds!
In regards to the cat scratching I have a helpful idea! We just bought a house and got a new sectional and ran into the same issue. Apparently you are supposed to start by putting the scratcher by the couch/chair and slowly moving it away as the learn to us it. Also put catnip on the scratcher. Also when yo first start out with the scratcher next to the chair give the cat treats whenever you see them using the scratcher and not the chair. It has worked really well for us so far
Ooo! Challenge idea!! You could try making a house and fully decorating it, then get rid of all the objects, and try redecorating it with half the object budget. And then, if you REALLY want a challenge, try halving it again!
You did a great job. I'm one of these that try to fit as much as possible in a house. lol. I have mostly stuff that my Sims can build their skills with or have fun with.🙂
I would have a panic attack trying to do this challenge 😅
Maybe adding small terrain mounds under trees and painting then with a dirt texture could add more to the outside vibes without adding any items 🤔
I've had the Sims for a while but have never figured out how to make houses look halfway decent until I found your channel, like, a week ago lol. I still need to landscape, but I just finished my first house that actually looks really really nice. I even managed to get a model pirate ship on top of my upper cabinets
I dont even play the sims but I recently started binge watching a bunch of your videos
Lilsimsie you’re my favorite 😭💕
each room is a different number of objects with the random number generator !! like 5-30 items (windows still count) just imagine a 3x3 bathroom with 25 items
SIMSIE!!!!!
I would be interested to see one or two more videos using 150 and 200 items. I think it would round off the series nicely and I'm really curious to see what you can do with those counts.
I was waiting for thissss
I’m already anxious 😅😂
Challenge Idea!
I would really like to see a challenge when you use a random number generator per room! Maybe 0-100, and that's how many items you have to put in that room.
challenge: play a household where you HAVE TO say yes to EVERY call, invitation to an event, etc..... even Batuu lol
I would have put the kitchen in the entryway near the front door. Or make the bedroom on the right 3 tiles less and give those tiles to the kitchen. so that the fridge, stove and two counters are on the top.
Simsie is my comfort UA-camr
I don’t think that anything in the house structure part of the build mode other than maybe landscaping should be objects.
If you buy a house, you don’t buy windows, columns, doors, stairs, railing, roofing, or anything of such separate unless you’re renovating a section here and there. That’s all stuff inclusive to the house itself.
“everything…… issssss….ffffffine”
lilsimsie 2022
Love your videos
Hi Kayla, this house is so cute. I think I should try this challenge. Your cat is so cute.🤗🤗
You probably already know this but the tool mod is excellent for scaling rugs to fit how you would want them to.
I can't wait to watch this
please do more of these adding 50-100 each time in the same shell!!
You should do "every room is one tile bigger" challange!!!! Id really like to see your spin on this
i was always thinking "oh, she could probably spruce it up with 75 items." because i think around that point is where EA starters are
What do you think about a new challenge? 75 items with a budget of 15000 simoleons? I would love to see that!😁 Please let me know if that sounds fun to you as well.
i think building a house with 50 different items would be a good idea, as in like if you have a certain lamp, that counts as one item and you can use it as many times as you want
I'm decluttering at home right now (nooo watching Sims videos isn't procrastination 😅) and now I wonder how many things we own and I'm tempted to count them (even if it's just furniture, art, plants rugs and so on)
It would be so cool if you had a series where u take the shell of a house and decorate it with 50 items and then each video you would just increase the item count by 50 till you got to 500-1000
Loved it
simsie: we can get rid of the toilet paper and towel in the bathroom, we need more objects for everywhere else :(
also simsie: what if I just put a plant next to the sink :)
I love you queen, but the towel at least makes more sense in the bathroom😂
That cracked me up! 🤣 No TP, but gotta have that plant. Guess we're wiping with leaves.
Wait she still counted doors and windows as objects? 😂🤦🏽♀️
I would love if you do this challenge and the no mistake challenge combined
I think you could do something similar but only use one type of item. Like if you pick a window, you can only use that window and no other types. Or like the same type of bed, or chair, or nightstand
She always says she hates how the outside of her "challenge houses" look, but they always look a million times better than anything I've ever built in the sims lol.
Unrelated, I no longer feel bad about mainly building houses that are basically just squares as I've recently started renting a house that is just a big rectangle lol. It literally looks like something I could have built.
I'm a new player, and each house I build I learn something new.
My first house I found out that rounded and angled exterior walls are currently beyond my roofing skill level.
My second house I learned how to make a two storey loft, and how annoying it can be to play across two floors.
My third build I wanted to try landscaping.. and so far I've spent almost four hours and about 30k just on aquascaping a pond. 😱😵
50 expensive object vs 100 mid price object challenge vs 500 budget object challenge
Like combine a budget challenge with the object limitation and your budget directly corresponds with the items (each build gets something like $50,000 so the items in the high object build needs to be budgeted because of the lack of money compared to the 50 object build)
Snappy chaos!
You should make it a series and keep doubling the number. Curious how a thousand items house would look in this shel
you should do a random number of objects in each room
like spin for what room youre gonna do next and spin for the number of objects but you need to fit all of them in
I probably would’ve used a bench to save on objects and used the snowy escape shelf in the kitchen to also save on objects.
Someone said a no mistakes version of this challenge and I think that’s an awesome idea
Hey Kayla. So I know this is completely unrelated to this video but I just got my first Cowplant and when I went to change its name, it was already named "Lil Simzee". I felt like that was an ode to you. So hilarious. I took a picture of it but have no idea how I could share that with you.
What I would love, is for Kayla to build a modern edgy house, not in the desert, but in a world she normally doesn’t build in! Something way out of her comfort zone!
the 50 one just looks like a starter home but lilsimsie style
You could do a Click Count building... What you can built with limited clicks.. like 1000 clicks xD
When there is a trash can on the street not to far from the house, you can get by without having any in the house. Your Sims WILL use the closest one on the street. Fully tested during a filth challenge : 50 Sims in a house with no trash can, no toilet, no sink and no bath/shower.
ANY brand new house WILL come with doors, windows, stairs, counters, cabinets, toilet, sinks and bath/showers. So, those should NOT count at all. Then, you'll normally have some lighting : Built in ceiling and wall mounted lights as well as a porch light are normally included and should not count. At least for the basic lights.
i just made a photobook of my legacy challenge screenshots and photos in google pres. maybe u can do it too it was so much fun to decorait and put little text bit ( like it was written in the book ).
As someone who loves interior design I could never do a 100 item house I would be so stressed 😫 I be stressed trying to do tiny homes due to wanted to fit more things inside 😂😂 I need space the lil things make the sim rp more realistic
You could try choosing 25 items but you are limited to only those 25 to furnish the house. But the amount of the item is limitless. For example if you only chose one double bed as an item, it needs to be used in all the bedrooms.
can you please do more episodes of high schoolyears it's so entertaining to watch I love it!
Ngl, my Sims houses just look that barren by default, at least when I start out; like, the only real decorations I put down are either items I craft, like paintings, sculptures etc., or stuff I find randomly like those little figurines 😅
i love your vids soo much, everything u do just looks sooooo good ! is there any chance to show you my 1 ever self made house xD ? Want to know your oppinion
SIMSIE!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
