Honestly besides all the useful info on the videos, the most important part of them for me is the motivation. I’m working on a purge trooper build right now but you can lose motivation after working on it for so long.
Passionate people are wonderful!! There's a man, with an active base, restoring whatever he can find from the old "Knight Rider" TV series -- a talking crime fighting car. 😃 Lovely.
Here I was watching a video on your BF armor build and I was wondering when the next one would be. “Nothing happens by coincidence.” Outstanding work GA, keep it up!
UV resin has absolutely changed the game for me in terms of actually finishing prints and HOLY CRAP on the plastidip tip! I have so much of this laying around for foamwork so I'll have to try it out when I get around to my Boba Fresh helmet.
Motivation. I felt that on so many levels. I've got 3 helmets in the works right now + ordered a Movie style Commander Cody helmet kit (from you somewhat recently) to make into a Movie style Captain Vaughn. Also I got a 3D printer recently and I just haven't kicked it into gear. Motivation & scared of messing something up is why it's still sitting in my room waiting to print.
Nice to see an update! Looking great! I like the technique for the texturing, I've been doing textured paint and Bondo stippling which is very time consuming.
I'll admit I was really critical on your Mando helmet video, but with that said, it made me really happy to see you using the resin technique! Well done.
Awesome work...Been thinking about using the resin on this build i'm working on, but worried i'll mess it up. Plaza Art is great for the selection of Montana Paints...I went there for the Sahara Beige for my Shoretrooper
A lot of Mercs use Chicago screws to attach their armor pieces, but it should definitly be on the heavier flak vest and not thin cloth like your suit. You can also mix it up with a little Velcro in some places. I'm sure you know all this so this is just as a reminder
I am wondering if the UV resin and mechanical sanding technique will work well with 3D printed parts such as those used to form blasters, Handles for blades as well as the blades themselves. Could you still proceed to use the resin on those smaller detailed portions and proceed with hand sanding them with sanding sponges/paper without loosing all and/or much of the details? I already have a mouse sander that I will use on the armour and maybe the helmet portions... Just want to gain some realistic advice before I advance further with the smoothing processes. :) Thanks!
Will you be submitting this to 501st to try to get this iteration into the crl? Cus I’d love to make that outfit to join the 501st but I don’t think it’s on the crl.
I had JUST looked you channel up earlier this morning to see if you had done any more parts to this and a few hours later this drop🤣. Looking great thus far
This is great motivation and great timing for me as well, I just finished prepping my boba helmet this week that I printed from your file! I almost feel silly though because after probably 4 hours of sanding I have it so smooth, almost feels wrong to texture it 😂
Hello I want to purchase the bobba fett 3d assets but the chestplate in need it to be a little bit bigger is it possible to have them made bigger ?everything else is movie quality
I managed pretty smooth surface with only filler primer spray. You just need to sand very carefully, because if you apply too much pressure, you'll end up with scratches.
I saw this resin coating process in another video: do you not run into the danger of loosing too many details? I am just curious. And that thing with the respirator for sanding is vital for me. After all, 55 % of my lung is all that is left of it...
I haven't worked with bondo fiberglass resin, but my guess is it would be a bit thicker than uv resin. UV resin is very thin, which makes it good for filling lines and small voids, and it hardens very quickly with uv light. I imagine fiberglass resin will be thicker with a much longer cure time.
I’ve been wanting to start painting my imperial crosshair helmet for weeks but the ultra matte slate has been out of stock everywhere and the few on Amazon are ridiculously overpriced and I’m running out of time before it gets too cold out to work with spray paint
sorry to tell you guy but your armor dosn't fit right. Look at the armor. The chest plates are way too small for a guy your size. Just make it bigger. I know you can. The rest looks dope!

Cosplay can be very mentally draining - stick with it and I know you'll be proud at the end!
I have waited long for this moment, my little green friend! (Evil Palp laughs)

Outstanding work GA, keep it up!
Perfect timing! Thank you!
I just finished my own Boba costume with your files. They are so high quality and my armor turned out so good! Thank you!
What size printer did you use? I have a couple ender 3's and looking at his files and they are not split up at all.
Love myself some fat bob armor

That was exactly why I tried it haha it works pretty well! It can be peeled up if you're a little rough with taping though
@@GalacticArmory good to know!
Nice
FINALLY!!!!!!!! I HAVE WAITED SO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!! LONGER THAN BOBA WAS IN THE SARLACC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it.

Oh it's beautiful.
Fantastic job can not wait to see it finished.

Fantastic work!!! Cheers mate 🤩👍👍👍👍👍
I can't imagine why anyone would dislike this

All your German Viewers when you talked about the Montana Black coding: whaaaaaaaaaaat?! :O
Check out card scrapers! Beat smoothing method of all time!
So Cool
Nice Armor!
Thank you!
You should make like the jet pack like a spring loaded like a button that you press on the belt that would launch the rocket in the back
Can you make a ronin warrior suit prefably wild fire

Боба Жирній , да
What do you use for the visor for the helmet?

This is great but still waiting on that ATRT driver helmet. LOL
Very cool. I think I need an automatic sander. The hand sanding is always my biggest obstacle and I really hate that part of the process.
It helps SO much
Are you also using velcro for fixing the backplate on the shoulders?
Halo "spartans" armor if you ask me.😎👍
I had JUST looked you channel up earlier this morning to see if you had done any more parts to this and a few hours later this drop🤣.
Looking great thus far
Thank you very much!
i wet sanded my parts under light running water and had zero dust concerns!
Could we see a Phase II pilot? It'd be a great challenge!
Exactly what I needed love it!
nice looks sick my man
this is sick!!! i love the helmets ur making
I love your videos bro keep it up 🔝
YESSS
looks awesome!!!!!!!!
Do a clone ARC amour build.
What about the head

Trust the process!
Where do you get the undergarments for armor
Hello I want to purchase the bobba fett 3d assets but the chestplate in need it to be a little bit bigger is it possible to have them made bigger ?everything else is movie quality
What's the benefit of using UV resin instead of something like Bondo fiberglass resin? Just the fact that you can harden it quickly if you want to?
is the resin smoothing technique a must or will filler primer work as well ?
I managed pretty smooth surface with only filler primer spray. You just need to sand very carefully, because if you apply too much pressure, you'll end up with scratches.
Finally a cosplay that will actually look better if I’m short and fat lol
When you apply resin on, do I need to apply it on both sides of the 3d printed piece or just the side that’s going to be painted on?
Pants might need to be baggier might help if you lower the knee guards down a bit more cause they’re below his knees in the show
I'm waiting on some pants from gray lone which should help a lot
Nooo not my mother😨😰
You look like a young, slimmer, John Milius.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING!
How tall are you, just wondering for purposes of the costume

@@mattwestrick6088 Alright, thank you, I will do a few tests with some different pieces and see what works best
UV resin vs Xtc-3d? Seems the UV resin is quicker to apply multiple layers. I know how we can get impatient with making stuff.
What 3d printers do you use
The prints look great
Thank you! I use the CR-10v2

any luck at hardware stores?
Montanablack88 likes the name of that color xD
i own a ressin printer so i know
Don't know what it is but the grey resin is the only one that's not stagnant. All the rest smash your sinuses bad
How much filament does a phase 2 helmet use?
bout 1.5 kgs
@@GalacticArmory thanks do much: )
How many cans of spray paint do
You typically use on one of these builds?
I was able to do this one with 1 of each color
0:26 how to weather it, go play like boys

Where’s the helmet… 😢
making a new one!
That’s Bubba Fats armor.
One thing you forgot, you need to order a lot of burgers, fries and pizza to fill out this amazing costume in it's screen accurate form!
Poor taste man…
@@MrMoistmus Ok, how about just loads of fancy cheese from France then? It would do the trick. :)
Yooooooooo
