A few notes: 1. The greens (except for in the cheeks) should be a bit lighter. 2. The ears should be sort of a beige, not gold. 3. The Rangefinder head should be black
Oh damn dude! Have a video comparing FDM vs Resin Sanding and never even considered pouring resin on an fdm print to smooth it out! 110% will have to try that out. Awesome tip!
A simple way to get the same texture is with a small foam paint roller. What you're seeing is a "military paint job". My bro gets the exact same effect painting his 1967 Willy's army jeep. Back in the day the army jeeps and vehicles and Tanks etc were roller painted. Earlier models were brush painted by hand as well. Not everywhere that made kr repaired them had a paint shop. History tidbit for the day!
Okay... that resin technique is kind of mind blowing, game changing, and I feel dumb for not thinking of it before. Thanks for sharing a proving it works
Please please please do a full body!!!! I started about a month ago working on one for my dad, and it is going well. But it would be wonderful to see some more people doing it and to get some reference!
I did this with the same colors for the most part. I used Hunt club green for the main green and I used charcoal grey for the cheek accents. Imo it looks better
You have done the Darth Vader figurine. Now you need to do the most iconic helmet in Star Wars!!!! The Sith lord himself. I would love to see how you approach the gloss black finish on his helmet. Keep smashing out the great content!
I've just finished printing this helmet and this is a great help for when I paint. The truck bed paint is a good find, I was going to use the Rustoleum textured paints.
I know it’s just the template of a regular phase 2 trooper, but you should definitely make the helmet to a Covert Ops trooper! The paint job is very unique and I think it would be a very fun build.
Jango Fett's range finder rotates in the opposite direction during the kamino fight just like Boba's during his brawl. (it's a neat little detail few notice)
So since u r the god at painting 3D print stuff i might as well ask. I got a 3D print saber stand on Etsy. Should I do the bondo primer method or should I just prime it????
Turned out great! I can't wait for my Arc Trooper helmet I got from your site. Would you recommend a beginner use the Bondo method or the new resin you used in this one? Also, do you have plans to do a Bo-Katan helmet?
Can you please do a Mauldalorian one day that would be amazing like the death watch that were serving under maul in clone wars that would be cool like gar saxon maybe
Firstly I took your recommendation for a printer, finally got it bout a month ago, and now you post a Mando video right as I start my Mando helmet using Boba Fett.
I would absolutely LOVE to see a 104th Battalion helmet, a Phase 2 specialist, preferably. I recently joined the 104th Battalion MilSim server (designation CT-31207 "Gum", 48th Marksman Phoenix Platoon, Rogue Company) and you doing a video for that would be absolutely incredible to watch (as are all of your videos). I know how much creators and artists hate to hear this, but it would probably be very good exposure to a whole new community? The 104th has over 14,000 members and is constantly growing, I already am going to share your channel with as many people as I can there, but doing a helmet specific to that amazing community would be incredible! Also, please keep up the good work, whatever it is! I hope COVID times haven't been super hard on your business!
Bought this armor from you shortly after it went up on the store, nad would really like to see a video tutorial and doing the cobb vanth version of the arnor
Love the SLA technique! Why go to bondo next, instead on another smoothing coat of SLA? Just curious, thanks for all your great videos. Bought the full Mando armor from you, such amazing CAD work!
There's something slightly off about this helmet... I have a black edition Fett helmet on my desk and Galactics's triangles in the middle are wrong and the whole shape looks slightly off. Also the colours look all wrong, if you look at I Like to Make Stuff's one, his colours are much more accurate. That's just my two cents. :P
I saw the 3d file a bit ago, and was waiting for a tutorial for so long! I was so exited when I saw this video! (edit: definitely do the full body armor)
Definitely would like to see the full armor to go with that. I noticed you had to rotate the helmet to get it on. Where is the tightest spot on this helmet? Looks like right around the cheeks. I would like to print out a test fit ring to size it. Might be a good idea to include a separate stl file with a sizing ring for your helmets. I know people could just make them on their own but it’s much easier to figure out the tight spots once the helmet has been printed.
What a great helmet! I always look forward to seeing the notification for a new upload! Anyways I would also love to see a full body suit of this! You would do such an amazing job!
please make the entire costume, or at least the armor set. That would be so epic to see. Just like the mando build. I love it, keep up the awesome work
I used Colonial Red for a helmet I bought off Amazon, the paint job came out kinda rough with a lot of running but I actually like how the pant ended up running so I didn't fix it. but I think the thing shrunk in the cold weather or I still need to sand down the inside of the cheeks
Oh man this is awesome! I'm clearing my Boba rearmor helm today and installing the visor and pads tomorrow. It's been a 2 and a half month build alongside all the other armor. I'll send you a pic on Twitter.
Looks so cool! I’ve bought the full armor files from your store and am working on printing it out. If I make any changes to your process it would probably be to use slightly different colors. Looks so good though!
Do you think you could do one of these videos on your tie fighter pilot helmet you have on your site? I have been wanting to make an outfit with it but I don't know how to go about the process...
you are very cool to make all these helmets, you can tell which helmet you use the material for the wieser (the one that closes your eyes on one side and you see everything beautifully from the inside)?
Printed the helmet from your templates. boi it is huge :D but fits barely on my head with the cheecks and eyes fit perfect but it's kinda wide. Maybe i'll need to scale down the width a bit
Doing the finishing work on this helmet now. It was a monster of a print, but it already looks so good! Thanks for the files and the videos, that tip with the resin is a game changer for sure! If anyone could answer for a color blind person, what colors are used on the accessory pieces? He went over the main helmet and stripes so I have those, but brushed over the accessory parts and I don't want to paint them the wrong colors. Thanks again and keep up the awesome content!!
i would love a full costume of this version of him!
Dew it
Indeed.
Pls do a full armour. I loved the Mando armour and boba's new clean armour in my opinion is even cooler. :)
A few notes:
1. The greens (except for in the cheeks) should be a bit lighter.
2. The ears should be sort of a beige, not gold.
3. The Rangefinder head should be black
It should be :
SPRUCE GREEN
BURGUNDY RED
BEIGE
Oh damn dude! Have a video comparing FDM vs Resin Sanding and never even considered pouring resin on an fdm print to smooth it out! 110% will have to try that out. Awesome tip!
I like it a lot more than xtc3d for example since there's no measuring or mixing!
Ha I saw someone do this just about a week ago and it has changed how I do things!
@@GalacticArmory not to mention the cure time would be way less. UV light with resin for a few mins and good to go. XTC takes a good while
Love GAs prints. What brand resin should I get. Yeah I use xtc right now, good but finicky.
@@GalacticArmory What 3d printer and filament do you use?? I would love to try this at home
A simple way to get the same texture is with a small foam paint roller. What you're seeing is a "military paint job". My bro gets the exact same effect painting his 1967 Willy's army jeep. History tidbit for the day!
3:55. BAD BATCH HELMET IN BACKGROUND! Hunter, I believe...
Yeah Hunter!!
I would absolutely love to see a full Boba Fett Kit
Love the frequent uploads!!
Could you make a dark trooper helmet? It’s my favorite plus it’s really cool
Oh man a full boba fett armor would be amazing
yeah that would be great
A full cosplay of this would be sooo epic
Please do a full costume, that would be a great idea and awesome content too
Then go into Walmart and buy a Slave I
Please full body, boba is my favourite character!!!
Same here. I made a custom helmet, not the re painted, but it doesn't come close to how good this one looks!
Full version would be sick!
That helmet is fucking awesome. I love your videos. General Grievous reference in the end was perfect.
Okay... that resin technique is kind of mind blowing, game changing, and I feel dumb for not thinking of it before. Thanks for sharing a proving it works
Please make the full armor please thank you Galactic Armory....
i like your work its so cool can u make new version capitan phasma i ask second idea is make sith jet troper blaster
Please please please do a full body!!!! I started about a month ago working on one for my dad, and it is going well. But it would be wonderful to see some more people doing it and to get some reference!
Geez, Its absolutely stunning how good the texture is from that black paint stuff. It totally looks like real metal.
Love it. Waiting for full Fett armor file. Halloween fun this year.
"A fine addition to my collection."
Ive hurd this somewhere before
I've just finished printing this helmet and this is a great help for when I paint. The truck bed paint is a good find, I was going to use the Rustoleum textured paints.
I know it’s just the template of a regular phase 2 trooper, but you should definitely make the helmet to a Covert Ops trooper! The paint job is very unique and I think it would be a very fun build.
I've thought of doing this with uv resin a few times, never gotten around to it. Glad to see it works.
Jango Fett's range finder rotates in the opposite direction during the kamino fight just like Boba's during his brawl. (it's a neat little detail few notice)
Oh yeah make the full costume! I recently motorised my Mandalorian Helmet, and made a kit for it. Would you like one?
dude pleasee do a full costume
Love ur content btw
It will be so cool if you made the hole armor 😎
So since u r the god at painting 3D print stuff i might as well ask. I got a 3D print saber stand on Etsy. Should I do the bondo primer method or should I just prime it????
Bondo primer
Do a Jango fett helmet please.
Turned out great! I can't wait for my Arc Trooper helmet I got from your site. Would you recommend a beginner use the Bondo method or the new resin you used in this one? Also, do you have plans to do a Bo-Katan helmet?
The bondo will always end up working if you don't have resin nearby like I did
@@GalacticArmory Good to know, thanks!
Yes! I've been waiting for a tutorial on this. Make the full costume!
How long to you let the resin sit under the UV lights?
Can you please do a Mauldalorian one day that would be amazing like the death watch that were serving under maul in clone wars that would be cool like gar saxon maybe
You do and got the best stuff around. Thank you for these videos.
100% want that full body armor also the Vader figure was sick
Firstly I took your recommendation for a printer, finally got it bout a month ago, and now you post a Mando video right as I start my Mando helmet using Boba Fett.
Does the arc trooper on your website have that same antenna mechanism?

can u make a brief tutorial to show the steps that are requiered to make 3d models for helmets and armors?
Love the SLA technique! Why go to bondo next, instead on another smoothing coat of SLA? Just curious, thanks for all your great videos. Bought the full Mando armor from you, such amazing CAD work!
Maybe it’s an issue with the primer filler where the resin attaches to it rather than the pla?
Dude no question you should do a full suit.
Btw that helmet is absolutely amazing
Can you do a full helmet tour
You should make a burned echo helmet after he was shot in season 3 or 4 don’t remember
There's something slightly off about this helmet... I have a black edition Fett helmet on my desk and Galactics's triangles in the middle are wrong and the whole shape looks slightly off. Got a cr10 because of you
Yes, please do the rest of the armor, that would be so cool
Please do the full body armour! I bought your files for the full body already and I'd love to see how you go about making it
I saw this and gasped. I’m trying to do his full armor from you right now. It would be Awesome if you did the video on the full thing.
I saw the 3d file a bit ago, and was waiting for a tutorial for so long! I was so exited when I saw this video! (edit: definitely do the full body armor)
The antenna going backwards isn't a break, jangos helmet antenna did the same thing in attack of the clones when he fired his missile at obi wan

I plan on doing the really weathered version at some point
3:52 I wonder what that is in the back🤔
Hunter, bad batch
@@A_Productions Can't wait to see that complete
Same. Also, I screwed up. Its Wrecker, Bad Batch. I saw another comment.
The channel is Kamino King Studio
What a great helmet! I always look forward to seeing the notification for a new upload! Anyways I would also love to see a full body suit of this! You would do such an amazing job!
7.27 Mando and Bo-Katan just casually watching as their comrades attempt to murder each other
Me vs my bro be like
On your website do you sell fully painted helmets or is it just the basic helmet
please make the entire costume, or at least the armor set. That would be so epic to see. Just like the mando build. I love it, keep up the awesome work
great job. will definitely try the resin trick. the best tricks are the obvious ones you look past!
I used Colonial Red for a helmet I bought off Amazon, the paint job came out kinda rough with a lot of running but I actually like how the pant ended up running so I didn't fix it. but I think the thing shrunk in the cold weather or I still need to sand down the inside of the cheeks
Oh you should TOTALLY do a full costume of this armor. It’s so nice.
5:21 in the back ground you can see HES working on some more stuff
Do you have links to where you bought the products you needed for the prep and paint? Or is the specific brand not all that important?
@galactic armory try some elmers wood filler, its no toxic and works mostly like bondo, im doing so RIGHT now
Man I really admire your work !! I bought fro you a jet pack and back plate as well amazing job !!
Where did you get the shelves for your printers from?
This is great! You did such an amazing job.
Oh man this is awesome! I'm clearing my Boba rearmor helm today and installing the visor and pads tomorrow. It's been a 2 and a half month build alongside all the other armor. I'll send you a pic on Twitter.

You should do a fives helmet with micro binoculars from umbara
I heard you when you said “a fine addition to my collection” you tryna be slick huhhhhh🤨😂 grea vid! I’ve been waiting for this one❤️
Hell yeah dude, I'd love to see Boba v2 full costume
Working on this now, the helmet finished up last night. And I always thought the upper cheeks were black. Thanks for that clarification.
Thanks for the video! I just received my Bo Katan helmet from your store today. Looking forward to working on it.
Love the new paint job!
I think all of us want a full costume of this. Please do it
Looks so cool! I’ve bought the full armor files from your store and am working on printing it out. If I make any changes to your process it would probably be to use slightly different colors. Looks so good though!
Would you ever consider doing a clone engineer helmet like Commander Faie’s or the ones from the original battlefront?
Do you think you could do one of these videos on your tie fighter pilot helmet you have on your site? I have been wanting to make an outfit with it but I don't know how to go about the process...
A cool idea would be to make a mud trooper helmet with the face shield, I think it would look pretty awesome
you are very cool to make all these helmets, you can tell which helmet you use the material for the wieser (the one that closes your eyes on one side and you see everything beautifully from the inside)?
Would be great if you did an esb or Rotj version
I’m seriously loving your content man. Keep up the great work!
can you make a biker scout helmet please
Great work man! I love your tutorials!
Did you have support inside of the helmet great helmet mate and yes I would like to see more of boba fett
Excellent work, Sir! Ty for sharing your techniques!!!
are you ever going to do a classic version?? i’d love to see you paint it!!!
hey man I am doing a custom clone build with your commander Bly 3d print and was wondering how you do the mouth grille for the clones. thanks mate.
I've seen the venator on your website and was wondering if you can make a video on it

Can you do just a basic phase 1 clone shiny to me that looks sick and you can change it when ever but make the model the clone wars model
