- Hi there! In today's video I learned how to use a drill and hung some curtains over my closet doors! Hope you enjoy!

I did this, but I used tension rods....shower curtain rods will do well too. This way i was able to have the rods tensioned against the door jamb, thereby preserving the look of the molding around the doors.

Tip for anyone wanting to do this... get a rod that's a little longer than your closet and hang it a few inches from your ceiling. It will make a HUGE difference. 😉

Instead of ruffles I love the curtains you have I would have just raised it another inch or two so you wouldn't see the gap. But I see the either roof is hindering you from taking it up a little higher or if only the ball and was a bit smaller you can raise it up. I totally agree with your method it definitely beats doors taking up space 👍
Thanks Emily. There are a lot of closet curtain ideas but they are mostly people talking way too much about whatever. Didn’t check for studs but it all turned out great. Tightening drill bits.. Hold the bit in place with one hand. Use the other hand to press the drill trigger lightly so it turns in the forward motion until the lock clicks. Give it one more hand crank and it’s set. Nice work!!
That is nice but I would put curtains like a white blackout type cause you can still see the inside they are too clear...but thank you it is hard to find an I closet the door I like and the ones I like are very expensive.

Reason why it’s not going in is you should use an impact driver not a drill
A shower curtain rod would require no tools. It uses outward pressure to stay in place. The curtain rod used here is for windows.
