Thank you for sharing all this info! It has been very helpful. I was hesitant about getting the mirror vibration fix done but after seeing the service bulletin I will have it fixed at my 5000 mi service. Keep up the good work
Did you get the mirror fixed using the TSB? Can I just go to the dealer and reference this TSB to get it fixed? When I close the driver’s door, I notice the mirror vibrates. It doesn’t happen on the passenger side. I see that TSB only mentions the US and Mexico. What about Canada?😢
I have a 2019 NX, and it has the same vibration problem. It is very annoying and very disappointing for Lexus brand too. I went to dealership and checked on it. No one seems to able to help. They directed me to call the warranty line and same thing. it seems like Lexus doesn't want to admit this is one of the manufacture problems. I found many posts about side mirror vibration for lexus nx. Lexus said it's ''normal characteristic" which I totally disagree. The vibration is NOT normal and its annoying while driving. And its driving hazard as well if you can't see the mirror clearly. I had an RX before which I loved and had no problems with it. My sister has a 2018 Rav4. I also have a 2018 CRV and even a Scion xb. I believe we're all know what a "normal" side mirror vibration would be. Can't believe the quality on the newer Lexus. Happy to see they finally have some kinda fix for 22-23. hopefully they're able to fix 2019 too. btw. they're already rejected my clam.
I had a 2018 NX and I did not have the vibration problem on my NX. I have heard from others that this had been a problem for many current gen and 1st gen owners. Hopefully, a TSB comes out from the previous gen as well.
@allanyuen7841 I also have this problem on our 2020 Lexus NX 300 that I bought as L/Certified. The driver side mirror glass vibrates and shakes like crazy at highway speed and is very distracting. I took it to the Lexus dealer, leaving a note with the specific conditions to reproduce the problem at highway speeds, and after driving it for 20 miles, they stated they did not see any issue...... Now unless you're actually blind, it is completely obvious, so regardless I was pretty disappointed around the fact that they didn't even acknowledge the problem. I did pop off the driver's side door panel and made sure that the mirror mounting screws were nice and tight, but I suspect the entire mirror assembly along with some sort of reinforcement on the door is needed to address, just like the 2022-2023's having this issue. Given that there is not a TSB covering these years, this will likely never be addressed and we've just learned to live with it. Even cheap cars and old Honda's I've had never did this sort of thing!
Hey LSFT, did you end up getting this fixed? My local dealer (Ontario, Canada) replaced the driver side mirror but it still vibrates without the reinforcement bracket as shown in the TSB.
@@lsft Good to know. I noticed the TSB for the USA was dated December 2022, so I'm surprised they haven't applied it to the Canadian market yet. It's really distracting at higher speeds!
I just got used to it, to the point where I am starting to ignore it already. The last thing you want is for them to take apart you door and introduce some new squeaks and rattle on the door panel that only comes on under certain condition that is unknown to you.
I just got my NX350 two days ago. Both driver and passenger rearview mirrors vibrate. All I could do was let the dealer know about it and let the waiting begin…

Let me know if the fix works or not. Thank you for your support!!!

looks like a trip to the dealership .thanks again
Hope this will fix your problem.

I didn't reference the tsb since it's USA and Mexico. You should tell them it vibrates when you drive. Hope they will replace it.
Thank you very much for info I have this problem and dealer could not fix it due to part shortage. it is really disappointing
They should be ordering the part and once it's in they will order it.
I have a landcruiser vibrating side mirror so annoying. This seems to be a problem all the way around
Wonder if they have a fix for it or not 🤔
Its the new 2024 landcruiser
@@OceansideCreations you should complain to the dealership and hopefully get it escalated to corporate

They had this issue since 2017 models. I had NX350 at that time. They told me it was normal. lol
I owned a 2015 and 2018. I didn't notice it as much.

No.. still waiting for the TSB coming for Canada. Will have to wait until they release it for Canada.

As long as it does not bother you, then I guess it's ok.

Both vibrates? This is typically the driver side only.
@@lsft Yes they both vibrate unfortunately
It is a side mirror not a rearview mirror… was hoping for a how to video of someone actually doing it😢
See how you see it. But thanks for pointing it out.
@1613ckhris @lsft I believe lexus manual calls them rearview mirrors, so it's best to use that terminology to avoid confusion
