I’m going to share this video I like it so much!!!
Do it do it do it!!!! Thanks brother!
Thank you dude. I've been back and forth on the one i wanted. I think you just helped me out. Thank you, and keep making content.
Fingers crossed, but 2 years using these, and still working great!
Thanks for watching!
I just ordered those ones. did a search and found this video Thanks
Thanks Kev! Hope they work out for you! (If not, Amazon prime return!!) Lol
L15 👍, what a good find, for '33 bucks' nice, I couldnt see the difference on the rear but the led on the front look uber bright, nice. Great share, stay blessed and safe, your friend Traveller MIA 🇬🇧
Yep, the rear was a toss up...wonder if was because of difference between amber stock lenses and clear bulbs,, and the red leds with clear lenses...
Thanks for stopping by..safe travels!
Those look SO much better!! You definitely came across a good deal!!
For the price, if they last even 3-4 years, they're still a great deal!
They look super bright to me and for that cost you can't beat it! 🤘🤘
It's a win Win WIN !! LOL
That is a great deal and those look really bright!! I''m guessing they are even brighter in person because that's what Bob said!! 😉
You got that right Sister! Lol… thanks for stopping by!
My kind of change, easy and cheap and works.
Yep, I agree...good upgrade for the time and money spent!
I agree, they look good (front's brighter for sure) and you can't beat that price with a stick.
Yep, front is brighter…. back is a hard comparison since it’s amber vs red….but what a dealer!!
Hellluva deal. The white is more pleasing to the eye. Good swap !!
I’m all about the bargain, as well as the product I’d a good one.
I agree, the white looks mucho better!
Hey man for the money ya can’t beat it. They look good!!
I usually have to have the absolute best, but I just wasn't willing to pay $200 for your know who, when these seem to be just as good (initially anyways)
Can’t beat amazon sometimes. The turn signals look really nice and bright!
I do only Prime, so I can do free returns…..but so far, these lights are keepers!!
It think they look great and they even include the resisters 👍
Yeah...now a drawback was there were no instructions on how to use the resistors....what's wrong with these people, we're they born in an outhouse or something? Lol
@@WhatsUpBob yep, obviously born in an outhouse lol.
Those are really nice
Purty bright...let's see how they hold up now..
Wow,what a wonderful upload! This is fantastic! I love it! New friend is hear to enjoy interesting channel!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great job on this. How would you compare the wiring behind the LED to RRI. RRI had all that slack you had to wrap up behind there. Nicely done!!
Thanks! So there was less 'extra wire' and the disks were maybe 1/64" smaller, which made popping on the lenses much much easier!
@@WhatsUpBob might have to get those for the vrod rear and make you figure out how the ballasts work
@@ChopperFett Actually, the Vrod doesn't need the ballasts. That was the trouble I was having on the Fat Boy, so took off the front running and put them on the Vrod
Same
👍
Maybe show wiring or is it just simple plug n play?!
It was just plug and play on my bike. Note though that on older bikes, with the possibility of hyperflash, it may be necessary to install the ballast resistors.
Thanks for the information Bob
You are welcome...just hoping to enlighten some folks, and save them a buck or two (or in this case, $170 bucks!) lol
I’ve noticed on some of those types of LED’s that they have to be 2” diameter. How ‘bout these? Also, tell me about the flasher unit please. Thanks
These fit the Harley 2" bullet housings...it's a snug fit, but from looking at other brands, that's the case with them as well.
As far as the flasher, it's the stock one that was on the bike. If you'd is an older Harley, you may have to get the ballast resistor so you don't get hyperflash pulsing of the LEDs.
Hope this helps!
Shouldn’t there be a rear running light? Then turn signal.
Nope, not on this old bike anyways. Wasn't wired that way.
The led were looks way better ! I bought similar from amazon as well but my only problem was the push cancel and the auto cancel from control doesnt work right aftet replaced? I dint use the resistor but instead i replaced the relay into hyperflash led relay ! Is this could be the problem?
I've never heard of a hyper flash relay but that could be it I suppose.
@@WhatsUpBob .thanks for reply! Yes it was the led flasher relay ! I just put it back the old one then it was working fine? So for the load resistor , what are the correct wattage/ohm to get for this turn signal lights?
@@filcandiy So if you have an older bike that gets 'hyperflash' with led turn signals, I would suggest checking out Rogue Rider Industries and searching for load equalizers...they are specific I think to year/models.
good luck!
@@WhatsUpBob alright thanks for the info.
I like the front ones better but the back is a toss up
I agree...in person, the backs were about the same. Hard to tell though, since it was amber compared to red.
That is great. Thumbs-up catch you later brother
Thanks for stopping by again MrG!
Do you know where I can find a wiring diagram for these ? It would mean the world to me.
Jim... not sure what you're asking for as these lights plugged right into the existing sockets
@@WhatsUpBob Thanks for the response. I found a diagram and all is good. Thanks for the time to get back to me.
Where did you mount the resistors?
So since this is a 2018 bike, no resistors were necessary to prevent hyperflash, so not sure where you mount them on older bikes.
I did have an old 2002 Fatboy, and on it, I bought a Badlands resistor module (I think from J&P Cycles)...it plugs in vs having to splice in resistors.
@@WhatsUpBob I have a 2017 Harley FLSS. Would that year have to have them?
@@michaelpryor5943 I got this info off of the HDForum website "The BCM was introduced on MY2011 Softails. As of 2014 it is on all Harleys except for Street and V-Rod. It is the successor to the TSM/TSSM (turn signal and security module)."
If you have Amazon PRIME with FREE RETURNS, then there's no risk in giving them a try without using the resistors.
Good luck, and let me know how it goes! (maybe make a video even!)
@@WhatsUpBob thanks brother.
Wow its goodbut expensive though
Well, $33 is relatively cheap compared with the big name alternative ones at close to $200
Looks like a god deal to me.
Yep, I’m pretty excited about them!!
33.00 bucks…..but wait there is more!
Oh I have an infomercial coming up for a new video ...BobCo..lol
suk:not sealed /rain and wash bike = death to these! #2 forever .. blinkers are yellow !!!!! these are not!
thanks for the input!! So far, so good for me...
Tried to use resistors they got so hot i had to remove them, thought they'd burn the bike down.
hmmm...that doesn't sound right. I guess you were using the turn signals on an older bike?
If ya got em from Amazon, send em back!
