Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Only Taff... give a pilot a plane with bombs, rockets, and cannons and he tries to decapitate the AAA gun crew with his propeller!

Taff, can you adjust your guns convergence? Maybe from 300m to around 450-500m? I think that would help when attacking ground targets without getting too close.

Finally, a mission outcome to provide a much-needed boost in morale for the squadron. Well done! Just guessing here, but I suspect a slightly steeper attack angle would make it easier to aim the rockets and canons accurately, even though it would give you less time to line up the target. To gain the extra altitude and longer time needed, maybe try extending a little further before turning around for another attack run. And remember the lesson I never learned: if it doesn't look spot on, don't pull the trigger; abort and go around for another try. Nothing wastes ammo faster than hope. Man, I'm just full of it today, huh?
Alternatively, light up the target with your cannon's & drop bombs on the enemy corpses like Taff, lol
In all seriousness, though, probably shouldn't be trying to strafe & drop bombs in the same run. You'll probably either miss &/or waste ammo, plus being distracted is an easy way to accidentally turn into a pancake

Not just ground attack, but I second the notion. These series' almost always devolve into only/primarily dogfights, which is boring

Them low passes have got to go Skipper Taff....my nerves cannot take it ha ha.
Pulling up straight would at least give your tail gunner a chance to hit the targets that your missing !
15:41 - NOW would be the time to transfer out. There are many more pilots than planes, so you wouldn't be missed. There may be other units with more planes than pilots, who could really use the services of a Hero of the Soviet Union.
Maybe it would be better to launch the rockets in one big volley? :) Increase the likelyhood of hitting one important thing.

Targeting with rockets is difficult. I´m quite good with bombs and cannons, but with rockets I´m in trouble to hit a barn.

The 1942 just feels soooo heavy with a tail gunner. I usually dont take it because of that. I do like the 132 rockets much more than the 82 because the 132s can kill anything and they make a bigger boom.

Rockets are absolutely iffy. I found that it would be better to fire from higher altitude in a salvo of 3 or 4 for each target at a greater AoA.
Will you do anymore JU-87 runs?
Watching ground attack missions is like watching paint dry. I miss the dogfights.
