The missions undertaken by the crews of B-17 bombers during World War II are the stuff of legend. What was it like to fly through relentless anti-aircraft fire over Nazi-occupied Europe? What was it like to have a thin layer of steel between life and death at 15,000 feet? How did it feel to furiously fend off enemy fighters zipping around your plane and then to precisely deliver your payload over enemy targets?

Redux
The same experience remastered with the original engine upgraded to support the functionality present in DX 12. Working on the redux will give us the opportunity to look back and learn in order to push forward with future Flying Fortress titles.

Woah, that was one hell of an episode taff, that was bewildering indeed to see that B17 still flying with a torn up tail, mind you I know of the B17 "Ye Olde Pub" involved in the 'Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler incident', that plane kept going with most of it's tail destroyed and a heavy deal of damage done to the overall plane, so maybe it's no surprise that the plane was still flying. Got that far and the bluddy pain in the you-know-what S.O.B AAA took you down, along with a lot of other B17s. It's a black day indeed but those fallen crews losses will not be in vain, those that parachuted safely, they have it easy, just have to wait until being liberated by the allied forces. Don't lose heart taff, it's the fog of war that decided not to smile on your crew, it frowned this time. Keep bringing these incredible B17 episodes coming, love them tons.. they're among the best you put on the channel. Keep at it and happy gaming mate 👍

I'm amazing that your B-17 was able to maintain altitude with almost nothing left of its elevators. Turning wasn't a problem, the ailerons on the main wings were OK, but without elevators, how could it maintain altitude?
We knew 2 bombers would be lost, but never expected we would be one of them. The flak was horrendous. But hopefully our boys will survive imprisonment.
The damage your B-17 received is on par with what happened to the B-17 "All American".
I like games like that
When there's so much flak the game engine starts derping out while trying to keep the sound going. I believe that's what you refer to as a bad day. And how the tailgunner makes it through that, I don't know. Since all he has a big slab of armor plate between him and the guns that he has to reach around to aim and fire while squatting on his bicycle seat. Those guys had to have been absolutely miserable the day after a long run.

They changed the sound effect from the flak. It used to sound like cans being shot by a BB gun.
I am still wondering what happened to historical mission 1+2 cause after looking 👀 through all Taff’s videos it appears there are no videos on historical missions 1 and 2!!. Someone explain this to me please 🙏???

Did the Air Corp actually say "Repeat" back then or is this an error on the game devs part. Repeat means fire another barrage of artillery so to avoid confusion on share radio channels Army Aviation currently says "Say Again".

Are you playing on an unreleased patch? Did they finally figure out why the Olive skins weren't working?
I think he said in another video he is on a beta patch it’s safe to assume the devs have given him earlier access then us as OD still doesn’t work for us newbies and no new patch yet.
Here's hoping they also fixed the input registration bug as well.
